I enjoy your videos a lot sir they're really informative and easy to follow. I've also got a question I'm looking for a nice pair of headphones and am hesitating between the sennheiser HD 558's or the AKG K550's are these good options(for all-round use, music, movies, gaming etc.) ? and which one would you choose, based on what? thanks in advance.
I find it interesting how you found these warmer than the 598s. I find they're more detailed in the mids, with a little more controlled bass. The 598s are a little more V-shaped. Though these have more mid-treble.
How do these compare to the superlux hd668bs? Are they on the same level, better or worse? Which pair is better for gaming?

i cant get teh sph9500 in my country... im looking for open back headphones around the price of these, i like to listen to music and play video games... any sugestions (ps i currently have the ath m50x's)
I found some hd558's for 69.99. If I'm using them just to listen to music and watch movies, which one should I buy? The Shp9500 or HD558?
Is there a big difference between hd598 and hd595? Is it worth for me to upgrade? My pair is getting reaaally old..

I didn't like the foam mod. Something didn't sound right; I couldn't quite pin it down but I put the foam back after about half an hour.
Have you reviewed the 518/ Do you plan to?
Got them for years, they are great. The lower low-end can certainly get muddy when you're doing electronic music. Am currently considering HD600s with my first paycheck.

Have you tried to "foam mod" them? :3 Everyone is impressed with that mode
There is a mod you can do to these where you pull the driver out and remove a strip of black felt they stuck to the grills. I did it to my pair and it really improved the mid range and sound stage. I would love to hear your opinion on whether it improves the sound or not. Its also easy to put the strips back if you don't like the sound afterwords.
