  • The Nissan Kicks is a small SUV that's only available with front-wheel drive, but don't let that take away from all the other great things it offers like practicality and value. In this video, autoTRADER.ca's Road Test Editor Dan Ilika goes over the pros and cons of the Nissan Kicks, fuel economy, driving dynamics, features, and more.

A lot of people look towards AWD or 4wheel drive. To drive off the pavement/off road. Doesn’t have to be crazy off roading. Just without worrying about the car on a easy dirt road

Dan would you please address this issue every time I watch a video of a Nissan Kicks or any model of Nissan for that matter it is followed by (many) comments on how you will be making a huge mistake because the CVT is going to fail and you will end up in an accident and or having to replace the transmission because Nissan has the worst CVT of any car brand why would anyone do a video featuring a Nissan when there are so many law suites and bad press for Nissan I own a Kicks and am now worried the transmission is going to fail

I have heard(but don't know from exp.)but lower hp and torque models and non awd models have far less issues.I know someone that has a 13 Altima with 4 cyl. and has no issues.

Hello i have a nissan versa 2009.. cvt. It hasn't let me down once since I have had it, and going on 13 years on October. So I cant speak for everyone, but seeing as most automatic cars are going in a cvt direction, I wouldn't worry to much about it

AWD is useless... until you're stuck.
