for people whose whole personality isnt their car, all the "negatives" were "doesnt matter at alls" and when he mentioned the trade offs for things he considered weaknesses (this weakenss gives you great mileage and cheap repairs) im just sitting here like... are you aware most of us just need to get to work? lmaooo
I just picked up a 2018 sr with 6,000 miles...its not for a driving enthusiast....but for basic everyday commuting and grocery getting it's great packed with tech a hella good warranty and good looking in my opinion.
I got a Kicks in 2020 and I love it . It gets 34.6 MPG and I think it accelerates great . Before this I had a 2025 Versa . Although the Versa had the same engine it got 31 MPG and had about 25% less room . The Kicks is a lot more sporty looking and drives much better . I am perfectly happy with my Kicks and have previously driven The Altima coupe , ^ Nissans all together , 2 Eldorado's , Buicks Chevies , a '74 Trans am , an XKE Jag , about 8 VW bugs and a j2 Oldsmobile
Yes the car I’m driving right now is the 2017 nissan Versa note and it only had 109 horse power and even at that I think it accelerates just fine. I’ve gotten used to that so the 125hp in this one would be an upgrade lol. Plus I like the look of this a lot.
I have the 2023 SV, and I enjoy driving it. I get great gas mileage. I love the cargo space. I think the car is sporty and attractive. It accelerates fine. I'm not a speed demon who wants to floor the gas pedal. The view of the road is outstanding. I have to see if good maintenance will keep the transmission from failing. That's the only thing that concerns me. Otherwise, I think it is a great car.
Say my name? Harambe it’s really good super fuel friendly, in my own experience I recommend you the car, I live in New York City and for the city it’s such a great car!
I traded my 2010 chevy traverse for this little 2019 kicks and am loving it. i average 547 km on a fill tank. Of course its not fast. It's a 1.6 litre. Od have to aay it is peppy coming from a full stop.
i own this car and get 31 mpg average, city and hwy. ya its not fast so i dont ever get pulled over. just has a natural way at staying at 40 mph. however i have had it up over 100.
I have a 2021 SR Kicks and I have gotten 45 mpg doing 58 mph. If I fly, I still get 37mpg. And it pulls up Monteagle Mountain in TN no problem. My overall average mileage is currently over 37 mpg. Love this little car…
its really not cause the floor says kicks. hehe i own one. and might keeep forever. seems like it might go 3000000 miles cause no knocking on engine like i have with fords and chevies in the past.
Yes, while old Datsun Honey Bees used to get I guess 50mpg, they had washing machine engine setups and NO Power! Todays cars are amazing for what they can do and how efficient they are and MUCH safer!
This is a great commuter car. The Juke was way too small. The Kicks looks like a smaller rogue. Now you talk about the cvt mated to a six cylinder and that combination is where the cvt transmission sucks. It can’t handle the six cylinder. You won’t have problems with the cvt mated to the 125hp 4 cylinder. The only bad thing I find is the small side mirrors but Nissan does come with blind spot monitoring on the sv and sr. Don’t know about the s.
I don’t disagree with you regarding the kicks except for one. You are comparing the kicks to a Juke. Why the kicks have a weak engine while the Juke is turbo charged? Because the Kicks DOESN’T replaced the Juke.. It replaced the Versa Note. The Juke was replaced by the rouge sport. That’s why comparing the Kicks to the Juke and why Nissan replaced the Juke with the kicks is WRONG. Again, Kicks replaced the Versa Note and not the Juke. It was replaced by the rouge sport.
You do great with the review delivery but the concept of having a review system that gives every car one positive and two negatives seems unbalanced. I think referencing the nissan juke where this poor sales numbers premium fuel joke of an suv is missing the mark as well. It also kind of hints you preferred the styling of the juke as well and again, objective thinking and most of your viewers are not down with a niche vehicle which you liked. Wouldn't people just get a Rogue Sport if they want something more fun? Just say that.
The Rogue Sport is what I was planning on getting, unfortunately I discovered that 2022 was the last year for it. I'm disappointed, so now it's between the Rogue and this. Hmmmmm.
I have a question. I’m researching the purchase of a used car that will need to last me for many years. I’ll be replacing a 2007 Yaris hatchback that has been a workhorse, but I honestly just don’t feel safe it such a tiny car when navigating Atlanta’s insane “Downtown Connector” where I feel invisible and surrounded by SUVs. I like the idea of a subcompact SUV because typically the only occupants are me and my dog... But having driven an underpowered car for years (I think my Yaris has 107 horsepower) I get worried when I hear that a car is underpowered. I just need enough acceleration to be able to pass safely (maybe even without turning off the AC!) How does this underpowered car compare to my current underpowered car? Can I pass someone without turning the AC off to coax that little bit of extra speed when I need it?
Overall the car is ok but the gas millage it gives sucks. I just got one and it’s a big disappointment. Before buying whatever car do a better research. I just opened a case with Nissan Corp. not worth buying it. Unless just my luck I got the defective one. And it’s not worth what they selling it for but 🤷🏻♀️
Nicholas Aleo well yes I am having issues with it it’s only giving me 20 miles in the city and 21 on the highway. Which Nissan is working with me right now. And I have the option of getting another one or refunding me full price.

I bought this car with my wife 2 days ago (our first car) it’s super nice and funny super comfy!
How was it til now? Planning to get this one next month?

have you tired in snow days? its front wheel drive I am curious how it performs in winter time TIA
I like this car moves good on the highway. More space than I thought in back.
@@juliawang1971 Its not good in heavy snow. Doesn't have the horsepower, to power threw wet and deep snow.

Great review! I have a 2020 Kicks and you pretty much covered it. 👍
I think the Kicks looks good. The worst thing is the name, "Kicks" - terrible name.

What a great review! I luv how you point out the negatives it allows me to decide if those are dealbreakers 😃 for me personally
I disagree about styling. I think it looks great. I dont have the color you show, just black and white.
Yes, while old Datsun Honey Bees used to get I guess 50mpg, they had washing machine engine setups and NO Power! Todays cars are amazing for what they can do and how efficient they are and MUCH safer!
I bought a used Kicks in April. I love this car. The mileage is great. Cars are always a losing proposition.

Does all 2018 models come with blue tooth to connect with phone and music. Even if it doesn't have android auto.
thank you, juke it is your my man!

6:19 drum brakes are not bad. Toyota trucks use drum brake and are just fine. Stopping power is fine.
The Juke may have been a beefier car, but it was the UGLIEST POS on the road!!!! Everyone I know that has a Kicks, loves it!

This is not a replacement for the Juke. They still sell the Juke in other countries.
Interior??
Very bad
Out there without fear 💥💥🙌👑 notification squad😂😂😂💖
@Jamie Christie in UAE market there is no cruise control. You didn’t mentioned about it.
What are you talking about?
You are 100% right down to the T ......
A clean cut urban car.....saves me gas
Okay, you talked me out of it 🤣

Karolita Hernandez why do you think it’s not worth the 18-20 thousand? Is it like, cheaply made or are you having issues with it already?
Nicholas Aleo well yes I am having issues with it it’s only giving me 20 miles in the city and 21 on the highway. Which Nissan is working with me right now. And I have the option of getting another one or refunding me full price.
Maybe the s button on the shifter is on. It is in the manual on page 5_19 check it.
@@danielneumeister8349 that goes off after every restart, so it should not be that.
@@karolitahernandez6202 i have same car i get 31 mpg everywhere. city and freeway is way better, sometimes 60 miles a gallon on freeway.
It’s much quicker than my v6 Jeep. It’s smoother. I get 38mpg highway.
My sister got one SR as her first car. It’s awful. It’s slow noisy and so bumpy. When you really push the gas the Mpgs are bad as well.
Having trouble raising drivers seat
You don't know how lucky you are who has a car has good gas mileage.
Garbage car. Cheap materials inside. I have 2021 kicks sr planning to sell it or trade at Carmax. Oh its not a gas saver.
I drive this car it’s eh
What about it is eh?
With Biden’s ridiculous gas prices, this is a great choice.
Haha, "5'8" average height". Just about peed my pants. Wishful thinking.
5’8” is average height for males in the US.
My wife just bought one, I'm 6'5 and it is more than talk enough to fit me just fine.
Ya, google says average height for a US male is 5 ft 9.5 in.
