I did see one at the BMW dealership, and I actually liked it.
These cars of today are great but simple do it yourself things like changing a headlight bulb requires you to remove the engine for easy access

Very interesting to see how slowest it is with no launch control in 0 100 km/h. 5.45 vs 4.25 s. In general Launch control enable OEMs to claim 0.4 fastest cars than in real life conditions. Here is 0.8s!

BMW is finally gunning 0-100 with all wheel drive these days. These figures are close to RS5 already and M4 hasn’t even arrived yet.
0-60 mph (or 100 clicks) times don’t matter. Nobody is sitting at a red light brake torquing their automatic just to get to the next red light first.

@@SSJI_87 Eric is 100% correct. Accelerate not from standstill and the AWD and electronics magic will fail you. As will taking these heavy cars on fast roads. Acceleration times nowadays are only for headlines and this is *not* a performance car anyway.
@@nessuno5403 I disagree. 1. Personally, I've never experienced any AWD failures from rolling start and haven't heard any. 2. M440i is a performance car. Just ask anyone who's in the market.

Which M4? Such useless observation. Cars are programmed to launch hard from standstill - but no electronics, AWD and grippy tyres will help this barge be faster than any M4 on track or on road or in rolling accelerations.

Omg, that's a fake diffuser! Wtf, BMW? Either give it a real rear diffuser (like Audi and Mercedes), or don't give it a diffuser at all. No diffuser is way classier than a fake diffuser, which is just effing, lame.
@Ruiii TVHD - No, I've seen this car in person. It doesn't have a real diffuser. It's totally fake. The Mercedes C43 AMG Coupe has a real diffuser. I'll have to check again with the Audi S5, but I'm pretty sure it's real too. Don't take my word for it, though. Go see for yourself.
@Ruiii TVHD - If what you say is true, then that leads me to think that you don't know what a real diffuser looks like. Just saying. And a little piece of advice: try not to take things so personally. It's the just the internet, m8.
@Ruiii TVHD It'd be easier if you compared the simulated diffuser on your M440i with real diffusers on cars like the Mercedes C43 Coupe, the Mustang GT, the Jaguar F-Type, Aston Martin Vantage, etc. The diffuser's fins on your M440i are non-functional because they're interrupted by the plastic bar running horizontally across them. I checked the Audi S5 and it has the same problem. Sorry, m8, but it's fake.
@Ruiii TVHD - I just don't understand why BMW can't give it a real diffuser. Is it too costly to put the car in a wind tunnel and calculate the placement of the fins? They have to put it in a wind tunnel anyway to measure drag, so it doesn't make sense to me. But if it makes you feel any better, I'm going to be getting an Audi S5 Coupe in a few months, and it also comes with a fake diffuser.

What do you expect? AWD, better tyres and electronic launch systems. Take it on track or on fast roads and it's an incomparable pig. Fast acceleration times are meaningless.
