I had LPR before, much more gerd. Its easy to get healed from. What I did is simple...
    1. I eat early dinner at 5-6pm
    2. I eat light dinner, making sure that my stomach is almost empty 3hrs before bedtime at 9pm
    3. I do not drink any liquids during meal, but 2hrs after meal. I drink in between meals but little by little up to 2 liters daily
    4. I avoid processed food, canned food, instant food and junk food. I eat real food without expiry dates
    5. I chew my food slowly, properly and mindfully
    6. I pray and thank God every meal
No need for medicines just common sense and discipline...

Maybe shortness of breath is due to acid reflux ( silent reflux) due to there is deficiency of acid in the stomach, To treat low stomach acid and silent reflux take apple cider vinegar and betain HCL tablets to instant relief within a week !
If shortness of breath is not due to silent reflux than it might be due to deficiency of vit. B1 ( thiamine ) , To treat this , take vitamin B1 supplements to maintain level of this vitamin !!

Yes, acid reflux or gerd causes your esophagus to make mucus to protect itself and the nose helps out producing mucus too. When we lie down the mucus can get into our breathing tube and cause us to cough or set up infection if we can’t cough it up. Right now I’m in ketovore with meat being majority and water on day nine and it’s much better. I also take mastic gum in capsules, I open the capsules and mix with coconut oil and eat it. I also drink celery, ginger root and tumeric and that helps my gut so much. God bless. I’m looking for your video update.

You don't understand what this video means to me. As i sit here out of breath typing this, My symptoms started around March 2020. Covid time. So that was fun. I got myself to a good place, walking/some weights only to try running last week and now my symptoms are back and all all over the place.
I'm weak, short of breath, chest pain, dizzy. Doctors are telling me to take more Nexium. 80mg a day. My fatigue is so bad. I'm supposed to be fit for my job (really fit) and now I'm going through this again. Thank you for your video, I wish i had seen this 2 years ago. Thank you❤️

Holy shit this is hitting spot on about the symptoms I’ve been experiencing, that neck feeling and acid in the throat feeling is terrible. You literally can’t sleep and I’ve become nervous to sleep and even eat. I made an appointment this week with my PCP because of how bad it has really gotten and I’ve been dealing with what I call “trapped burps” or like air and gas deep in my stomach that sometimes I feel like I can’t get out but I just feel it sitting there and it sends me into a panic attack. It has affected my relationships as well and not wanting to eat much with friends and my partner for life of 8 years. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this and hope surgery goes well. I’m so glad I found this video because this gives me more insight and guidance and help of what I need to look into. Thank you❤

Wow! This was like hearing my own story. Finally someone linking the respiratory and acid reflux symptoms. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It looks like it resonates with a lot of people. I'm wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed with "hyper-inflated lungs" while dealing with these symptoms? The coughing, low oxygen sats, pneumonia, acid reflux symptoms are just overwhelming and take over your life. It limits everything! Your breathing, your voice, activities, food, sleep, mental health. I'm waiting to have my endoscopy with Bravo PH monitoring. I hope I finally get some answers because as you mentioned, no one can live this way. Again, thanks for taking the time to share this important information.

I'm going through a very similar story and wow, I can't believe I'm not alone in this. Everybody ignores me, tells me I've got anxiety when I literally can't exist. Your symptoms differ from mine but this gives me hope I can get better. I was at a hospital, they diagnosed me with asthma, took countless meds for asthma to find out I don't even have it. Shortness of breath is by far the most debilitating symptom that made me suicidal and nobody ever helped me with it.

I can’t believe your doctors never heard of GERD causing asthma, pneumonia, even pulmonary fibrosis. A chronic cough if frequent from gastric contents that go up high in your throat and mouth and can even affect your eustachion tubes as well as going into your breathing passages. Also very common is doctors blaming the health problems of women on anxiety. I have told doctors I am sick of hearing that I am stressed. I am experiencing very similar symptoms.I wish you all the best.

Hey Georgia, thanks a lot for sharing your story! I can relate to you a 100%! I have been living in hell since 2.5 years now. Same issues that you mentioned. Shortness of breath is the most irritating one that I have. I don’t remember when my chest was light last time. It is always that I’m not able to breath without feeling any constriction. I have met a ton of doctors and they have been useless for the most part except some who were really empathetic and truly smart. From my endless research on the issue and actively listening to my body I’ve got really strong reasons to believe that it’s my stomach/acid that’s causing my symptoms. My ENT also said it could be acid because she saw some tissue damage on the vocal cord when she examined them in an endoscopy. Of course, the vocal cords were inflamed just like yours. I’m meeting with a naturopath because from my research it looks like when there is less acid in your stomach or the ph of the acid is not that low meaning it is not that acidic, the lower esophageal sphincter doesn’t close properly and the contents come up into the esophagus giving us such symptoms. I’m really positive that tackling the acid part will help me. I hope that you get relief soon! I pray for you and can totally understand what you’re going through. You’re not alone! And you definitely don’t need any kind of anxiety medication! When a doctor gives you a medicine for your mind it’s just that they are not able to help you with your symptoms and blaming your mind unnecessarily for no damn reason! As i see it, it’s just a failure of doctors when they offer such medication. Tell me how would you confirm you have anxiety or other psychological problem? there’s no way. On top of that keep telling yourself you have anxiety and you’ll develop it even when you didn’t have it. Mind is crazy and powerful, so don’t let anyone else control it in any damn way!!! Just unsolicited advice - sorry. So give the patient anxiety medicine and tell them that it’s just your mind and anxiety and you’re done with the patient. Terrible! I’ll update you when and if I get relief. If you want to talk to me please reply to my comment and I can share my personal email so that we can chat. Also note that I’m commenting from my anonymous account for security reasons.

Yeah I think your right. I've had fibromyalgia for about ten years and it's just now that my stomach is starting to cause problems. I seriously have these days where it feel like I cant breath. It feels like I can't "catch my breath" which is very scary and causes me to inhale deeper to try and catch a "full breath". There is nothing wrong with my lungs, they are super clean. So it's no that! BUT!!!......................
...Since I lost my Fibromyalgia Dr because he "retired" and the perception of Tramadol has changed I cant get my new Dr to prescribe the same amount ( 8 ) tablets. All he will do is prescribe me 6 tablets for the day. Which honestly that should be enough. It's just that once I come home I want to "play" with my son, and mess around with him instead of coming home and dropping down on my bed and doing nothing with him! I use Tramadol to be a good father, and now it's being taken away from me! I don't know what to do!

I have gone through very similar experience. Now is 8 months after, feeling better. I have gone through family doctor, walking in doctor, nurse line. At the beginning was a flu, then cough and breathing problem. In between the end of March, I also have a seasonal allergy. So it was really complicated. I was prescribed PPI for dropping stomach acid ( I did research and doubting if it was silent reflux) but I dared not to take the medicine. Because I realized my stomach acid is low( searched on line to figure this out). I cough more when after eating, sitting in the car, lying down. I went through lung specilist, allergies and ENT doctor. Lung specialist remind me to check H. Pylori ....result was positive. I took the medicine and now feel better...I understand your feeling. Can't have enough air and oxygen is scary...and can't eat normal food freely, can't sleep flat, can't exercises like before. This is an area we need specialist...!!!

OmFg 🤯🤯🤯 you're the first person I find that talks about the sinuses and breathing issues with GERD/LPR. Everyone is only talking about throat pain 🙁
Thank you for sharing your story. I am happy you got healed so fast.
I have the same problems since 2015 and they constantly told me it's all ib my head until it got so so bad in 2020 that I had months at a time where I couldn't leave the house because of brain fog and incredible fatigue.
Like you, I was forced to do my own research and put everything together. Unfortunately, since it lasted that long, I've developed all sorts of other diseases like leaky gut, sibo, histamine intolerance, ibd etc. to a point where the past year my body only supports rice, millet and some chicken.
The biggest problem is that they're doctors and they should LISTEN and help you find answers but they don't understand the basics of the human body. Everyone knows about anxiety now and they blame that for everything so you get out of their office and leave the money.

It's like nobody wanted to deal with me. Did a chest x-ray, showed it looks normal. Anxiety meds didn't help. Acid reflux meds didn't help., I had to research for my own self as well, to discover that what I did have was LPR, and that breathing issues could be a consequence of this. No doctor ever told me this! They scheduled me for some breathing tests in 9 months!!! It's affected my entire life and I'm looking for a solution that works.

I contacted a functional medicine doctor that told me to take betaine hydrochloric acid with pepsin. Ordered this on line. Started taking 1080 ml and worked up to about 2200 ml before each meal. Wow, it made a huge difference. My problem was not enough acid. The functional med doc also ordered a food allergy test for me. She said I have leaky gut, causing an auto immune response to certain foods. She is going to remove those foods from my diet, put me on supplements to heal the leaky gut, and then reintroduce the foods back into my diet. Conventional doctors aren't trained to heal chronic diseases. We have to go to functional doctors or natural paths. They understand how the body works.

This is so me. If LPR is what your experiencing and respiratory reflux the surgery doesn’t always fix this. I’m going through this right now 8ths post op from a 360. Those surgeries whether it’s a 360 or toupet usually only fix the actual regurgitation. Although some have had relief but not all. It’s a gamble going in

    Hello Georgia,
I've just came across your channel and videos, I was looking around LPR as I'm having the same symptoms these days, mainly shortness of breath.
I have LPR for almost 3 years but after a first 6month worst period ever in my life I could finally deal with the symptoms and I would say it cured at 90%...
I was symptoms free for around a year and a half, until summer 2021 when it came back and disappeared again withing 2 weeks.
In 2022, I have it coming and leaving every few weeks.
Now, for the last two weeks it flared again, this time I have only shortness of breath, without other throat symptoms but I keep hope that I can go through it again.
I took PPIs the first time I had bad symptoms for 6 months in 2019 and never took it again after that.
I'm focusing mostly on diet "alkalin diet" and on the mental health side (I believe anxiety and worrying too much about the symptoms were keeping me stuck in a vicious circle) + some other "hacks"
Keep hope, you can go through it :)
    Greetings
    Amine from Luxembourg

I was gasping for air and had so much stomach acid....and it just kept getting worse and worse.I was scared to eat etc. I was fairly certain I would die from this. I was sleeping sitting up etc. It turns out I had a stomach infection called H Pylori that went misdiagnosed for over a year. I fixed that with heavy antibiotics and the acid was helped a bit with weight loss. My docs prior to this told me my coughing was COPD, sent me home with inhalers and wished me luck. As the coughing got worse I finally had liquid acid come up and that led me to a gastroenterologist. I've lost 95 pounds, still dealing with it, but it is better. It's still not great though so I'm working on other dietary measures. I love your video because it gives this critical info that gasping for air can be because of your stomach acid! I am still working on dietary measures to fix this as the surgery scares me so much

Oh man! I totally get it! My symptoms started with a tickle in my neck when I would lie down and then a dry cough that wouldn’t go away. I’ve had bronchitis 3x’s since last April, I’ve had laryngitis twice and a sore throat. The absolute worst part is the post nasal drip! I’m constantly gagging on mucus all the time and have literally thrown up because of it. My cough is not dry anymore I cough up mucus and have to by Kleenex in bulk at Costco because I go though so much! I have it in every room of the house and I’m sure my husband is sick of the sound I make. My primary are doctor has put me on every asthma and allergy medicine but it never helped. Just like you, I finally sent myself to an ENT and he did the same tests and said I have LPR. I thought, “Yay!” I finally have an answer and they’ll fix it! They put me on Prilosec but I read the side effects and I never took it. He gave me a nasal spray that I’m supposed to use with another one but it makes even water and air taste disgusting.
I have tried eating fermented food, alkaline water, making homemade Kefir to heal my stomach (btw, I’ve had IBS for like 30 years and it’s helped that thank god) but I’m still coughing. It’s horrible having a chronic cough when there’s a pandemic. People treat you like a leper.
I feel your pain! It’s a horrible diagnosis because nothing really helps. It is now July 13th so you’ve probably had your surgery. I truly hope it helped!

I’ve had an endoscopy before and nothing significant was found other than some acid reflux so I don’t know what type of surgery anyone would actually do.

My feelings are surgery is going to be a bandaid for symptoms and you will probably have acid reflux after surgery. I have acid reflux and breathing/ lung problems as well. I am listening to Natural Doctors and realize some acid reflux is due to too little acid. I am doing things to build up acid, Apple cider vinegar, chewing more, Keto diet. I am doing better. Also I take pineapple pills away from home when reflux and eat fresh pineapple that I cut and freeze when at home. It knocks it out immediately.
Blessings to all suffering this, not fun.

I have severe GERD. Shortness of breath, chest very tight. Heartburn pain ! Terrible. For more than 4 months I have been suffering from GERD. Pantoprazole for more than 5 weeks , nothing working , things got worse. Antacid ( gaviscon ) helps a lot even tough pantoprazole is very strong but ( it is not good for me ).. eating healthy , not really working, I have my follow up with my doctor after my Upper endoscopy procedure so we can talk about my treatment because I have severe GERD. Annoying

what happens is pepcin gas makes it way into the esophagus and once in there the esophagus overreacts and starts to flare up and creates the mucus that you constantly have to cough out which is also painful. when my throat becomes inflamed and impacts the breathing, albuterol helps instantly, it's an inhaler for asthma. dr don't know that there is a link between LPR and asthma symptom. unfortunately there is no quick cure, it's an overhaul on your diet and lifestyle unless you want to be on pills or do the LINX surgery. i've had to give up any citrus, chocolate, dairy, anything tomatoe based, coffee, spice, and carbonated drinks.

Have you tried to find out if you don’t have enough acid in your stomach as this is another school of thought.Apple cider vinegar can help before you eat.I suffer from the same symptoms but I’m looking down other routes of cure as I don’t like taking medication.Good luck with your recovery!

Mine is slowly healing now, that’s the only benefit of silent reflux is that it can heal and go, I take gaviscon and slippery elm, I also eat more often. Had it must of 2023 but got worse end of 2023.

Usually our stomech gets acidic because our stomech does not prduce enough acid to digest the food when it is low the gate of stomech does not slose so the acid goes tour throat. You can control it by eating alklalone food and not acodic such as orange tomatos fruits that can make your stomech acidic. Dairy products can also make your stomech acidic.

Hi. I am from Germany, I am 35 years old and since six month I am also suffering from LPR I recommend the video and book from dr Jonathan Aviv. It Helped me a lot to understand the disease. I am not healed yet. I just can eat banana, watermelon, apple, cucumber, potatoes and carrots. Everything else my body doesn’t except so far…. It’s horrible and it’s not easy. But I hope and believe I can overcome this situation and everything will be better!! So please stay positive and don’t give up! 🙏🙏🍀

I also read and did the 30 day challenge from dr..Aviv"s Acid watcher diet. It helped heal my gastritis. I sleep as upright as I can and that helps any of the true acid that wants to come up. I have to sleep upright because I have the vapors of Pepsin coming up and bothering my throat, ears and even my eyes. Most doctors don't know what to do with me! Sigh
