Been waiting for this to drop, and I'm not disappointed, an absolute gem of a build mate, the intro was well put together, loved watching the timelapse, and the Talk Through during the tour was on key, overall mate a big 10/10 The interior you can see you put as much thought into it as you did with the build itself, Great stuff Thank you for this build.

You said form over function. But realistically few places are perfect canvasses. I think archeology shows we just kind of kept adapting and changing our built environment to accomodate new realities. Eg, the castle ceased to be worth the expense of societal energy once large cannons that could breach walls replaced pre-firearm siege machines.
And then, build some stairs up to the mountain top and build a monastery.
I really like the customized interior. Well thought out and hope to see more builds in the near future!

wow basic. this is awsome.. lovely.. so good.. one my fav things is that u used hanging brazier and the base for the chandy.. .. why i never thought of that i dont know. ive used them for other..creative things befor but not that.. very kool. loved it. x

Do you have any tips on where to find an area like that to build on? I guess its hard with different seeds but i take a chance popping the question. :D @@TheBasicBuilder
@@missan66 so I have my build worlds I use. My whole map is explored using console commands and I look for rivers on every island. Just be patient until you find the right location
@@missan66 : I have a very specific seed for you "MichMort", you spawn just besides a landscape that resembles his building ground a lot

Man, This game has the best building system. I could probably spend hours just building in creative. Then realizing that I can't build shit, and close the game 10 minutes after thinking that I could build something.

overall super nice build! the part above the entrance look abit flat tho and could have used abit more detail

@@TheBasicBuilder A castle does have a specific definition as a fortified residence, still love the design and it gives me some ideas for both a manor, and ways it could be expanded and fortified :) Just a history geek, I mean no disrespect!

About stairs, i can see why you in limited space use the "ladder-stair", but will you tell me if you havent thought of the new spiralstairs ?, or if it is to keep the build down to a level, where most can follow ?
I didn’t use the spiral stairs because that tower is used to get to the workshop area
