This is the only build that is worthy of being watched on youtube so far. No streamer, builder or intentional build, can even compete with this sctructure and details.
Wow, one of the most intricate builds I have seen. Looks like it came straight from the developers. Then again I'm not sure they could have done a better job. This is epic. You deserve way more likes and subs just for this video alone, not mention your great vids. 😀
haha, i guess to reach that part of the game, it was designed to get them beta players cheats. Which made me doubt if this is a raw footage at least. But the results are even more impressive :D so, thumps up, cheers high
You inspire me to build better. You are an artist and all of your builds are true Viking masterpieces. I salute you sir - and thank you for your effort and tutelage.
As a Swede first I gotta tell you thank you for the build and the ideas I got from it, you clearly put esthetics and balance in the same build, it's pretty dang accurate to the rebuilt boathouses here in western Götaland, thank you.
Well. It took about 40 hours. Including carving out a fairly large hill... But I now finally have my boathouse. My daughter thinks I'm an idiot but I don't care. So proud of myself. Thanks for an awesome guide and even more awesome-looking house!
I used this video as a partial guide with some modifications and the new hearth and home parts. Iron cage walls for supports instead of wood iron beams, dark wood beams instead of logs, dark wood roof etc. covered the open dock with a roof. Used iron cage floor as the top floor of the tower and those huge fire pits on it to make a lighthouse. Still working on the inside. I also made mine on a self made island so it’s in the middle of the water near the mistlands. Made it really hard as there’s no daylight in the midlands. But it makes for a really cool look all lit up with torches and the bonfire lighthouse Love the video.
Legitimately one of the BEST bases I’ve seen. The detail was immaculate and the guide super precise. I just finished building this on my world after about.. probably 15 hours. Amazing.
I’ve seen so many amazing Valheim builds. But yours made me stop to actually post. I love this! This is by far my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
When i run around my map i might stumble upon a shelter/FOB i built in my early days of the game, and have moved on from, then quietly laugh to myself how bad i was at building, not understanding architecture or how the mechanics of all the pieces work or even the terrain i was building on. But... this video, OMG. This is a work of art, God level skills; That i'm not sure i'd ever reach _(try as i might)._ Fantastic video, Amazing build!! Love it!!❤️
I'm blown away by how much effort you put into this video - I can really feel the amount of work you put into this. I've been watching/bookmarking your videos for a while now, and mostly I just watch them to get inspiration on how to match pieces together for different designs. I know lots of people probably desire the actual details and measurements so they can build the same thing themselves. I had to respect this and subscribe.
This video inspired me to log in so I can like the post, in fact a first for me. Your video and tutorial blew me away, I have been playing Valheim for ~200 Hrs and your video made me realize we are only limited by our imagination. Fantastic and inspirational build - congrats.
15 hours and at least 50 repairs of level 3 hammers later its finally done, i did a lot of improvising since i did everything that can be done and more with the darkwood parts, added a spiral staircase in the tower that goes up to "main" level and ofc hours of detailing the outside to perfection. come to find out, my fps doesnt really like larger builds like this. anyway, definately worth the time and effort put in to it. thank you sir! for another great build.
This was such a great build! Took me around 8 hours in game time to build it and around 6 hours to gather all the materials, but it was worth it! I love your videos! Thank you!
Gonna say, this was challenging! I changed a few things (new tar shingles, some crystal, etc...) This was great, and thank you for so much detail! I'm about to start actually filling it in, and making it the full port!
I am now the proud owner of this Harbour on my server, I cannot thank you enough for such an Epic Build. Hard work enough to build it following this excellent guide, you have my respect for creating it from scratch!

Hey Raven :) Thanks again man, I always try and bring something new to each build if I can. I am surprised at how well the smaller builds do sometimes. I started off building on Ark with huge epic castles and whole villages and thought this is what people will like to see not thinking it can take weeks or months to progress to the point of having the materials and items to make huge bases 😁
@@ThePilgrimzProject I have to say I still enjoy watching your Ark videos they are my inspiration, I enjoy seeing the realism you pull off in your builds, the villages the castles, the docks, now watching your Valheim builds they have much more realism in build mechanics, materials and decoration, and your awesome imagination to pull it all together 😊
This is not the first of your vids i've seen, its not often i'll save a link onto my hotbar, but have done once again with one of yours. I tend not to copy anyones builds at all, but i do use them for inspiration. What a vid this one is too!! I've only just got into stone this last 3-4 days finally, and as soon as i did, i tore down my old house and constructed the Valheim version of the Antiquarian Alpine Lodge/cabin from Elder Scrolls Online. Was so so proud of the end result. I can see from your builds, you have an immense sense of pride in the detail, and thats just the sort of vid I like to watch, so please make more when you can :) Loving this vid though, thank you so much!
Oooofff!!! Mate this is amazing! So many details I'd never think to put together!! As silly as it sounds, The jam jar shelf was definitely a highlight!!
Hello. Just found your channel. I enjoy building games and like watching construction,. Your style (of skipping over all the gathering) appeals to me. I slowed this one down by 50%, it made all the difference. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! Thanks.
Thanks man, I follow your entire guide and took me like 2 weeks to complete. Learned alot by following your guide, really helpful to learn advance building technics.
Just wanted to say , I love your builds, voice and Music! I have come back to watch this video so many times. Thanks again and please make many more. :D
For what i wanted i skipped out on some of the building parts and made it a bit different, mainly the tower, the entrance, the interior, the side building, as that was completely useless for what i needed it to be doing. I also changed some of the locations of the windows and such, but the docking area, the main attraction, is what sold me, i needed to make that, absolutely astonishing, it's almost done and the sheer size of it is just ridiculous, a true masterpiece.
I’m a complete noob. I hit the Iron Age for the first time and decided to build this. I had no idea the undertaking I was about to partake in. After over 100 in game days I finally built this structure. It feels amazing to have done this. I definitely took short cuts in some sections but it still all looks great
I tried making a boathouse earlier, but I built it way too small. This video really helped me get the grandiose size of the boathouse in my mind. I can't wait to build this.
I really love the creative energy you bring to the table with your builds. When ever I get stuck in mine I just fire up the Pilgrim project and end up knowing exactly what direction I wanna go. Very inspiring. Keep up the good work.
Saw this vid when it came out and here I am months later having finished the build! Thanks man, this guide was perfect. Maybe I should work on finishing the game now? 😅
I've made the house of one of your first's tutorials, and i can say, i'm gonna use this one too, thanks a lot for your time, you have a big talent, thanks!
Wow what an impressive build. I ended up building a small but nice camp with a dock. Then that huge 40ft tall, muscle bound Troll came and busted down some of the walls and roof with me in it!😱 I had to get the hell out of there fast. Only about half of it was still standing when he left and it looked like a tornado hit 😂
Within the first 30 seconds I was just wowed by the whole build. Looks awesome, and I love seeing others haing half-overhang of the roof. Personally often use it for both the sides and at the bottom, but it varies with the size.
My friend, this is above and beyond! Your work you put into this so everyone can either follow along how its build or even build it ourselves to the fullest is blowing my mind. I don't think I can recall anyone being THIS thorough. Kudos my friend!
Recently bought the game first thing i wanted to build was a dockyard and this gives me absolutely immense amount of joy to see the level of detail that can be done amazing build mate great guide too
Holy shit Man, its been 2 weeks since I started to replicate your work here. Dammnn this gave so much trouble and took some much resources, and for the record I did just a small version of your dock, with just 1 space for a boat and no watch tower. I've came to this video just to trying get some roof ideas for my boat and end up with 2 weeks lenght building, dont take me wrong, its awesome and your work its fantastic... but man, I need vacation.
I only recently started Valheim and I was so proud after building my first 4x4 house with a fitting roof. Then I saw this video and now I just want to burn that atrocitiy down. Boy!
This is awesome, thanks for the in-depth tutorial. I will be trying to pay homage (copy exactly) this for my town's docks. Let's hope I can do it justice. Thank you for your hard work.
What an awesome build! ..fits landscape perfectly , fits the theme perfectly, absolutely fantastic! BIG! respect to you sir! Also... Perfect choice of music at the start of the build, "Wellerman" ...made more popular recently by a scot too! Keep up the fantastic work please!
Wow, this is gorgeous! I'm about to build my first boat-house and wanted a few tips to make sure I could support the roof without the whole thing collapsing on me. I'm thinking mine will be a wee bit simpler. Again, wow. Amazing build. Skal!
This build is no joke! Following it now but making it a bit smaller and without the circular keep at the end since it needs to fit into my existing village and the amount of resources and hours used so far is quite high. Awesome build man!
I've built the mead hall (legit), and then I went and built the stone "castle" and let me just say that, it's probably 3-4x harder. And that's with me using about 16 wood iron polls when he used north of 100 in the video (way too much iron for survival legit)
Hey, really great build and video. They just keep getting better and better. When I saw the video length I thought oh boy but you're completly right: the timestamps and screenshots do their job and I like that I have the possibility to still watch you building it. So again, great stuff you do and thanks for sharing.
Soooo, which brave soul of the community is watching all 3 hours and carefully noting down all items required to give me a full list of woods, ores n stones that I have to gather before starting to build this? :D Damn this looks f'king amazing!
@@ThePilgrimzProject don't stress yourself too much mate. Doing such builds without unlimited resources is not something one does in one go either way ^^ Very rough estimates are more than enough :)
yeah just have a question. so in the vid, he did iron wood on four sides of the pillar. you can achieve same stability if you put the iron wood inside a stone pillar instead right? and you will end up using less iron if you do that correct? I wanna know for my build.
I am about 95% complete replicating this build and all I can say is wow... well done! I also now have a new found appreciation for people who work at heights... I can't tell you how many times I fell to my death building this!
I am attempting the build now. After finishing the first stone structures, i have to say i would really have preferred if you laid down all the stone *first*, and then started doing the wooden decorations ( horizontal wooden beams). This mix and match got me confused about what should be built first, and i ended up walling a lot of sections that didn't need walls by assuming where you were going to go next and getting it wrong. The pictures are helpful, though there could be more, from all angles so we could check if we did everything alright. Otherwise it's been a great project for the last couple of days, almost halfway done and feeling like i'm building the Notre Damme, lol. Keep up the good work ! Also, pro tip for others that are about to start : Have your starting orientation toward the North /South / East / West so when you dig for the docks you get neat squares instead of weird diagonal patches if faced at an angle. Had to destroy nearly all of the foundation and start from scratch, as i intend to orient my town from this structure.
The length of the video seems a little daunting but I have used screenshots and explained each section of the build with all the info and measurements, then I have the footage of that part of the build going together.

This build is no joke! Following it now but making it a bit smaller and without the circular keep at the end since it needs to fit into my existing village and the amount of resources and hours used so far is quite high. Awesome build man!
This is amazing. Mad props for the build, and the video editing. You're doing the Lords work.
I have just finished to reproduce the mead house (without cheat), and then you come out with this video... 😱
I've built the mead hall (legit), and then I went and built the stone "castle" and let me just say that, it's probably 3-4x harder. And that's with me using about 16 wood iron polls when he used north of 100 in the video (way too much iron for survival legit)
I am commenting before watching just to state my excitement while i watch this !! OMG YES FINALLY !!
Hey, really great build and video. They just keep getting better and better. When I saw the video length I thought oh boy but you're completly right: the timestamps and screenshots do their job and I like that I have the possibility to still watch you building it. So again, great stuff you do and thanks for sharing.
Dude you are amazing! Geez this looks like so much Material you need to gather to finish this build! XD
Really great video mate! Love the timestamps and your way of explaining. Keep it up!
I love Valheim, and you are a master maker
this is freaking amazing, You are a genius.
This is incredible! I am blown away. Well done.
Soooo, which brave soul of the community is watching all 3 hours and carefully noting down all items required to give me a full list of woods, ores n stones that I have to gather before starting to build this? :D Damn this looks f'king amazing!
I have a few videos to edit but I will have a go at counting it all up 👍
@@ThePilgrimzProject don't stress yourself too much mate. Doing such builds without unlimited resources is not something one does in one go either way ^^
Very rough estimates are more than enough :)
You're insane, its incredible. Valheim is amazing and I cant wait to see what we can do with this game in the future!
Guys, iron doors inside stone walls increase their support by a lot, just a tip :)
Awesome tip! This game is just insanely logical.
yeah just have a question. so in the vid, he did iron wood on four sides of the pillar. you can achieve same stability if you put the iron wood inside a stone pillar instead right? and you will end up using less iron if you do that correct? I wanna know for my build.
Hooooly sh**! I need to step up my buildings! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I'm going to build this both on ark and Valheim
Oh sweet, it's out! Keep doing your thing dude. You're my favorite Valheim builder.
Thanks Chris, appreciate it 😁👍
I am about 95% complete replicating this build and all I can say is wow...
