Astongate: fake emission figures, an embattled carmaker and a sock puppet PR company. You may have seen the news story about a new report purporting to show that it takes 50,000 miles before an EV's emissions beat those of a petrol car. First of all, the figures were comprehensively debunked - the correct figure is nearer 16,000 miles - then, over the weekend I uncovered evidence that the report was written by a sock-puppet PR company run from an address co-owned by Aston Martin's Director of Global Government and Corporate Affairs.

If you want to know why the press are so keen to print these sort of lies just look at where most of the advertising money is coming from.
Ironically if you watch TV ads at the moment EV's are everywhere until you go to buy one.
I guess it gives the car companies an appearance of being green even if they are fighting against it.

I'm not in it for the emissions if you're in it for global warming climate change and sea level rise I would encourage you to study non-government sources yeah I in it for the thrill of building something I've always wanted an electric vehicle not happy with what I see being built so I've decided to build my own not completely sold on the Tesla Model I know there's other sources I'm still in the learning phase anyway peace and blessings
