I watched this guy way back when he used to do magic and card tricks , idk why yt recommended this vid seconds after release but it feels good to know Chris is still creating content.
There's metalwork in there too.😁 I wonder what sort of timesclale was involved, from the start of the design process, right through to final completion? I bet there were loads of bits of paper with complex scribbling on them, along with a very full wastepaper basket. I'm guessing there's a very logical, almost OCD mind behind this.
The color scheme of this puzzle looks so pretty, and the puzzle overall just looks so nice and we'll made! This was one of the most aestheticly pleasing puzzles ever for some reason.
It may be too late, but someone should do a chest “advent calendar” for you. One day, one puzzle, one “treat” and a clue to the next day. And to make it more difficult, don’t label the draws so you have to figure out which one is the drawer of the day.
That looked like one of the more complicated sequential puzzles you've done. Thats sayin a lot given the number ive seen you solve. Great job and awesome content.
All the detailed explanation that he makes from time to time, really shows how involved he is with the viewers and how much he cares about the viewers, which most definitely helps them stay involved. 🤞
18:30 I thought that red piece in the bottom of the 4th draw down on the right was part of the key tumbler. I was screaming at my monitor for 6 or 7 mins like I was watching a horror film and Chris was running up stairs.

The video quality is insanely amazing on these puzzle videos!!! Chris’s intros are literally the best on TH-cam please don’t stop man!!! This puzzle Is so intricate and detailed it’s so unique, just being able to see through the back is so cool!!! Great work!!
That was one of the most epic intros ever. You managed to turn something relatively basic into an amazingly creepy yet enthralling greeting to say the least. I wish people would make movies with the amount of skill that you use to make your intros.
The go pro on your head, last episode, was a great shout. Gives a unique view with such big puzzles. This doesn't detract from another great video and solve this week
This puzzle was amazing, one of if not my favorite. I love it when you can actually see some of the mechanism to give you a sense of how it works and what you probably have to do instead of a metal box with 1 little hole and you have no info until you randomly do the right thing. Amazing solve great video
That reminded me of some of the furniture built by Abraham Roentgen and his son David Roentgen built in the 18th century. Writing desks, secretary desks, game tables. Many of them with secret compartments requiring keys to open. Drawers with springs, weights and counter-balances. Joints and seems disguised with marquetry inlay. It's really cool to see someone keeping that tradition alive.
I completely understand that you sometimes solve puzzles in unintended ways. I used to create puzzle maps for the game counter-strike and people sometimes solved it in very imaginative ways. Actually cool to see from a creators point of view.
This puzzle is probably my favorite that you've done. Its so beautiful and nice to look at. It looks like it was very satisfying to solve and while it seemed to give you what the clues of what to look for, It was enough of a tactile/ physical puzzle to still make it a challenge. Great video as always bud, your chill vibes always keep me watching!

1:22 Chris Ramsay before he applies his makeup. Let’s begin with the name. The provenance of the name, “Secretum Cista”, is rather auspicious and steeped in mystery. From the Latin, “Secretum” has many translations, notably “secret seal”, or more simply just “secret”. But the name is associated with the “Secreta Secretorum”, the Secret Book of Secrets purportedly written by Aristotle to his pupil Alexander the Great and covering a host of elevated topics ranging from statecraft to the supernatural. The second part of the name, “Cista”, translates from the Latin to “basket”, or “box”, or in this case, “chest”. Secret Chest. There were other potential names, also derived from Latin, that Jesse was considering, but these shall remain a secret. You never know what other secret chests the future may hold.
