watching Chris do the buttons stressed me out. I kept yelling "get a sheet of paper and copy the pattern"... I thought the problem was that he was holding down the buttons instead of just pressing them, and I'm still confused at the way he finally solved that...

Nope.. wrong process to solve it.. you need to hold down 4 buttons equivalent to the numbers that arent covered by the correct panel. Buttons' numerical value is the order they flashed.. there are 9 buttons.. the panel that shows the zero or has more than 4 numbers visible are red herrings.

That was amazing. The " Lotus puzzle " Now tthat is Bad ass. But when you got to the colored buttons. I was saying " Blindly write the letters down when the colors flashed. " This was a fun video. Thanks man.

The plates covered the number pad, revealing only 4 numbers. The 4 numbers were the placement of the correct buttons within the sequence of the 9 green buttons lighting up. He had to keep trying different plates as only 1 indicated the correct numbers in the sequence to press. i.e. if the 'winning' plate showed 1,2,3&4, you would need to hold the first 4 green buttons that lit up.
I loved the intro you made! The puzzle was really coo, too, I liked how it used the lighting underneath the diamond and all the different controls around the box. Thanks so much for the brilliant video! 🧡💜

The sequence wasnt even the solution. I have brain damage because of the fact that pressing 4 buttons was actually the solution before he tried to press the sequence at least once.

It was actually so mind numbingly simple. Just follow the sequence one at a time. What happened was he got it wrong doing it correctly the first time and then just never went back to doing it the correct way

This was REALLY good. They're was almost a perfect balance between struggle and success through the phases of the puzzle, and I think that may have been intentional from the creators of the puzzle. Those light up memory buttons are always a classic (we had games like that in dairy queen when I was a kid), and this one put a few cool twists on that. There were a few actually quite cryptic phase solves in this, and Chris breezed through most of it, as expected of a well versed puzzle master! Also, I feel like that price is on point, if not a bit of a bargain. I mean, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing you buy and solve thousand dollar puzzles that, while beautiful and great, are not a whole lot more than some wood and magnets you can hold in one hand... Especially with PHAT fingers, hah.
This puzzle is so off-theme it's not even funny. It's making all these cartoon sound effects when it's supposed to be a super serious secure vault for the most expensive diamond in the world. It felt like a child's toy or something
