I love the enthusiasm Wes has throughout this!! Yall have to do some more of these bigger puzzles together, love the normal puzzle vids but this just had that little extra!
You need a "Puzzle" Table, with a Thick Glass section in the middle. Then you don't have to sweat "Scratching" it, and you can look at (or film) the Underside of things (like the Chest or Coaster).
@@oOBeastBoyOo Or a Lazy Susan for puzzles that might scratch the table. Or some felt to put under puzzles. The felt would slide across the table easy, but not scratch it, assuming it was thick enough.
Please don't think I'm taking anything away from your solo solves, they are always amazing to watch. But having Wes join you on these big puzzles is awesome. You 2 work so well together. Please try to get him into more solves 👍
dud that genuine joy and excitment is why I watch your channel. seeing you expose a guest to that and having them get just as childishly giddy is freaking awsome. I love it man. You should do more this way.
As soon as they opened the key lock I almost shouted out loud: "It's the beard guy from earlier!" It was killing me the whole time until they figured it out! Thanks so much for this awesome solve! I love it!
I think having a turntable for when you solve puzzles would be so cool! Wouldn't have to worry about scratching the table or puzzle and could turn to cameras with ease!
Got to love how they guess and check the last two numbers on the padlock. It was obviously pairing them. Skull and crossbones, ship and anchor, chest and crown, and then pirate and drink. Not in that order but the pairs themselves.
This is one of the best puzzle so far of this size, it's very entertaining. It's not rythm or number button press only, like other puzzles with increasing difficulty, has a lot of logic to it. Also at the beggining lighthouse was drawn near the button 😉
DUDE! These puzzle makers are so dang creative! Just when I think I've seen the coolest one yet, BAM! Here is another one that ranks up there with the best. This Channel is so badass, IDK how I stumbled onto it, but I DEFINITELY am glad I did!!
So can I just say that this is one of your best videos. I loved watching someone new and their pure excitement. I would be happy to see more collabs like this.
I figured out the other two symbols that they knew were in one order or the other right about here 14:30. The symbols on the puzzle discs were a crown and an "x." The X goes with the treasure chest because X marks the spot, and the crown goes with the skull because you wear crowns on your head. Congrats on another puzzle solved, and well done you two!
The tape over frosted surface is like water over frosted glass. Both produce a translucent effect because the add medium fills the tiny voids of the frosting; letting the substrate to behave like the normal transparent material. I was surprised the tape would work like water so nicely but you see the results. Thats a pretty neat effect
I love Wes's reactions and excitement as you 2 solved puzzles! 😂 😂. He's like a school kid! 😂. Great fun watching you 2 together with this one. Great content as always 🤗
So you're telling me there was actual treasure in the end. Wow that was just the cherry on the top. That final moment would have been the best time to play "he's a pirate". The puzzle felt epic, as i was solving along with you guys, pretty nice and loved the design work. These would make one of the best presents.
Awesome video! Love the energy and the joy you both displayed. For those wondering how the tokens and such were done, see below. It's some cool techno shenanigans that can even replicate a full mappable chess set RFID tags and readers.
In Germany, we have these "EXIT" games that are essentially escape game puzzles but in a much smaller scale :D Basically, you're always looking for numbers with these, because you have to enter them on a cardboard wheel. And I'm pretty sure I have seen the puzzle with the map and the routes there as well. At least if my memory didn't fail me. Nonetheless, that specific puzzle really reminded me of one of those EXIT games lol
Chris you are an amazing friend.. Wes' face has been beaming all the way through solving this puzzle with his best buddy. You are just awesome and I wish I could do this with my friends and just say there's a 1000 bucks in it if you help solve it under so many minutes. Awesome challenge and video guys I loved my watch x
Man Chris you’re a good dude. No one is perfect but you make an active effort to give and help the people you care about. That is priceless. If you hold all your blessings and your hands are full, without giving, they aren’t open to receive. You inspire me to do the same. Thanks for video!
Wes is a solid wingman, he suggests imputing in the numbers with the button then when Chris tries it minuets later hes instantly all Go Chris! Great video, loved the team work.
Surprised you two didn't associate the skull with the crossbones and the crown with the treasure on the combo lock part. This is such a cool puzzle! I like when you team up with Wes for stuff!
Love these boxes. As an escape room enthusiast, this one felt much more in line with that style of puzzles. Also, I found myself verbally saying the solution to puzzles minutes earlier every time that it was tough to watch at times. I say this acknowledging that it's likely much different when you're actually sitting in front of the box rather than viewing it on a video. But just sayin, Chris, if you want to solve these in record times, I might be able to help. ;)
This is great fun! I am always happy when you collab with Wes, as you two genuinely play very well off each other, it is very honest and fun to watch. Too bad you are such a SELLOUT!, just kidding, lol. I love the idea that there is some "BIG PUZZLE" money out there that you are supposedly raking in, lol. I hope you are doing well financially and mentally, you deserve to after all the great content you have put out. I love the magic stuff, I love the puzzle stuff, I get that you don't have 1 identity. Most people don't. Our likes ebb and flow and morph over the years. Follow what makes you excited, that is the path to making the best stuff.
@Chris Ramsay these puzzles just keep getting better, This Pirates Journey Box with it's brilliantly clever puzzle ideas and the sweet craftmanship is the best so far. Thank you for the awesome entertainment!
I feel like Wes was waiting his whole life to say the places on the map are numbers and then the tape on the screen afterwards like he learns about that in 10th grade 🤣🤣🤣
God I had so much pain looking that. Chris felt way more stupid in that puzzle. So many easy riddles and they didn't ecen realised a pirateskull has crossed bones. The typical Jolly Roger
I enjoy watching this episode just to see the excitement from Wes. He looked like a kid on Christmas morning whenever he discovered something. Bring him in on some more puzzle like this his reactions are priceless. He was a big help when you done the escape room unlike the other dude. Sorry to say this I know he's your friend but he was unhelpful, distracting and very unfunny.
Bro plz make more videos like this. You having your friends in them makes me so happy. Their joy and smiles when they help you makes these videos all that more amazing 👏
Just when I thought your puzzles could not get any better you pull off one of the greatest puzzle I've ever seen. And with my favorite magician Wes Barker. Good job
You had the joy of two little kids with their best ever Christmas present! It was a joy to watch. However the complexity, ingenuity, artistic creativity and electronic programming was awesome. Massive thumbs up! 👍👍👍👋👋👋😲😲😲😘
This was frickin awesome. Very satisfying hearing the clicks and watching stuff snap open. Cool puzzles that needed some creative thinking, and it looks great!
When he found the lighthouse puzzle piece with the cogs I was losing my mind that he wasn't turning the box around...there is a picture on the cog piece and the near the buttons indicating they go together! Haha. Love your vids! xD
This was an awesome puzzle! It was so much fun to watch you two work your way through this. It was such an interesting way to create a puzzle. I really love these sequential solve puzzles.

After you tried the padlock, I was screaming that's how many times you hit the button with the 4 red lights!

Me: "SKULL AND CROSSBONES SKULL AND CROSSBONES!"
Chris: I don't know what to do with the skulll
Yeah. Same here 😄
also treasurechest and a crown! like. damn chris lol
I know, I was saying skull and crossbones too, how can Chris miss that.
@Israel Lopez Wut
Came here to say this! And the order of the skulls with the booklet! They literally mentioned the different skulls!!
Chris really needs to do more puzzle solving with Wes, his excitement is contagious and fun to watch
You need a "Puzzle" Table, with a Thick Glass section in the middle. Then you don't have to sweat "Scratching" it, and you can look at (or film) the Underside of things (like the Chest or Coaster).
I was thinking a big turn table to set on top of the current one he has would work really well! That way he can spin the whole thing around with ease.
Ty for this
Glass scratches easily though
The cameras will have a fit if he used glass, too many lights and reflections and glass gets visibly dirty fast

I'm legit still laughing at this dude's boyish wonder and excitement reaction. "TGIS IS AWESOME!" 🤣
Love how excited Wes got each time a puzzle was solved
The outlook on the box is outstanding! It’s so grand.
Ohhhh
Man I've love to see Wes do his own puzzle solving channel. He looks so happy and excited here, it's awesome. More please.
