You know your series has bad writing when the Toad is the best character. I don't know if i prefer this more pathetic, dumb and relatable misfit Toad or the sarcastic badass misfit Toad who easily beat the shit out of half the X-Men in the movie, though.
Because they both crawl on things and is part of X Men and are always together and I seen a family tree of photos of marvel heroes and villains one of them showed nightcrawler and toad together that's why.
1: Toad and Nightcrawler are not 'both part of X men' so you can mark that one off. 2: don't believe every damn photo you see. 3: There aren't always together. 4: This one is the simplest one, do they have the same last names? No so, therefore, they are not...brothers!

This series arguably made Toad a likable character. His theme song is also badass too.
I’m really digging Toad’s design, like how he has bulging eyes & his legs are out of proportion to the rest of his body like an actual toad.
