@@tldacosta485 Certainly not this guy. In all walks of authority if you make a demand or threat you have to back it up and never back down, this includes parental authority and employer authority.

Yeah, but with bodycams the cops are more protected from the false accusations. Nobody would have blamed this Trooper for tasing this guy, but I don't know if he even had a taser which is probably why he pulled out his baton. I started bawling my eyes out and told the Trooper the truth, which was that I JUST had gotten clean from H a week prior and that my life was just in complete shambles. Dude told me to wait until he drove away then I could leave, and to head straight home. I still have his name in my phone. He truly gave a shit and could tell I honestly had no clue my license was suspended. I do construction tho and worked in a Trooper’s house. He was cool as fuck lol. I'm an attorney. This trooper showed exemplary restraint. Once the man started getting worked up and in the officers face, he could have put him in cuffs for assault on a LEO. When he swung, the trooper called for assistance. When he was taken to the ground, the trooper could have shot this guy and I don't think any jury would find that use of force unreasonable. The only reason this man is dead is because of the choices he made before this encounter, namely the choice to take PCP

At 2 minutes, the NJSP Trooper should have disengaged, and waited for backup.
The guy was 5 warning signs past being 'normal'.

From the start of this call, I wouldve called for backup, Im not even 2 mins into the video and this guy is annoying
Update: Glad those civilians stepped in and helped him! Those drugs probably had him feeling like Superman.
