One weird thing I always found in Belladonna Cove is that sims are much more likely to flirt with each other than in other neighbourhoods. For example, if Samantha and Gabriel are in the welcome wagon they probably end up falling in love with each other.

i think scripted events are like "tutorials" or "introduction" u know.. like introduction to alien, burglar, cheating, etc. that's why the expansion packs don't have them bc they figured you're already familiar with the game.

In my game, Chastity broke Gabriel Green's heart. He get comforted by the Samantha and marry her. Then I marry Kimberly to Armand instead. So she will be the evil stepmother to Tara. (And I love that 😂)

Still even with some Maxis oversight, the sims 2 is master piece in story telling. Wish they would try harder with the sims 4 :(.

Isabelle Baldwin is actually extremely lazy, so it makes sense that she is unemployed, although is having potential to go big in a career. Plus her husband is either turned off by unemployed or turned on by hardworking Sims, don't remember which one exactly. But it is a great potential for drama.

The weird thing is that I swear one time when I was younger I played this world and I started with old man Contender - the athlete - and I got a pop up as if for a scripted event like with the base game worlds... it was something about him wanting to retire but still wanting to have fun and flirt it up with the ladies... idk LOL. I've never gotten it since though.

Cindy! After playing the Sims 2 Apple store version for years I finally got my hands on a working PC where I could redownload my Ultimate Collection from Origin. I'm soooo happy to finally have hobbies and apartments again as well as a game that runs beautifully! Your mod list and sims 2 rules are so helpful, I feel like in my 15+ years of playing Sims I finally have a play style that doesn't ever get boring. Thanks so much!
