- The Sims 3's base game neighborhood, Sunset Valley, is full of unique lore and family stories. Today we're looking at the Unborn Babies that exist when you begin playing the world. Let's dive in to some Sims drama!
I really love taking a deep-dive into the stories of the Sims that so many people love. And in this new series on my channel, we'll explore the lore and stories of The Sims. There are so many of them! I hope these videos can inspire you to find new and interesting households to play - and to show you how much there is to do in The Sims 3.

How about Aaron and Bailey when they age up to teens or adults? Maybe they will have a romance with each other. My equivalent Alphie and Barbara actually do have a love interest in each other. Alphie just went to China with his Dad to study Martial Arts. I am playing Barbara next. Sadly, Claire never married and is an elder now.
i’d love to see a video on the ottomas family, the strange looks of the ottomas twins and all the corruption that comes with them. also the bayless family for their implied storyline
Fun fact! Claire ursine is supposed to be Claire the bear from sims 1 in human form! Her last name means ‘like a bear’, she is angler so she likes fish like a bear, and she wears brown and likes brown because Claire the bear is brown!! Plus the master thief aspiration is probably because Claire the bear would show up to rummage through your garbage haha

Connor is my favorite Sims 3 townie, I think he's very cute. He is better dad material than his brother.

I always think the aunt and uncle's involved are actually amazingly nice and respectful (people always assume there was cheating and trauma and promiscuity) and they all got on really well and my cousins are all sweet and well adjusted. . . So it's not always the end of the world
I rarely ever play premade families. The only exceptions are Christopher Steel and Agnes Crumplebottom. I’m on the 4th Crumplebottom generation right now. This makes me want to play Clair. Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it.
You need to be more explorative with the Sims 3. There are really good premades.
I really like playing with premades sims i love their story especially the Bunch family and the Wolff these families were the best since i was 6yrs

@@desig23Agnes hit it off with an officer that answered the call when her home was being burglarized. I just wanted her to be happy and have no drama in her life after everything she went through. She got married, had a daughter, and fulfilled her lifetime aspiration. Her daughter was nothing but drama, her granddaughter, drama and scandal after scandal.
Meanwhile, in The Sims 4, Jesminder Bheeda is still the only Sim that has an unborn baby. How sad.
To the surprise of... absolutely no one, really
I think they avoid unborn babies, because it was the root of some problems in sims 2 and in 3 (specially in Isla Paradiso).
Her son Felipe Bheeda had a child with one of my Generation 2 sims kids in the Not so Berry challenge. But she is long dead now and her son is an Elder.

I've been playing the same Sunset Valley save for like literal years. When baby keaton was born the game named him Rufus....Rufus Keaton.

In my most recent save I has Claire and Agnes marry to finish and fill that nursery since no MAN was brave enough to get close after Eric.. it was wholesome as heck.

@@ladeira7 Same. On one save I had him as my mistress and in my current save I have him married to one of the guys in Moonlight Falls.
Jared to me feels like the straight one out of the two.
I interpret Claire's want to get married as her way to become financially secure for her new baby. A moment of realization. A single mother working a minimum wage job, no other skills for a better job, without any help from anyone is extremely difficult. I can see that being the only reason to become a sugar baby. It happens in real life so I like that the Sims team added that.
I need to play more Sims 3 premades, unlike the Sims 2, I usually make my own sims in the Sims 3 (and 4)
I really love the premades in Sims 3, too! They have such cool stories and backgrounds (well, most of them).
Because Claire is a reference to Claire the Bear from the sims 1, I always name her daughter Bernadette as it means brave bear. 😊
I always made Clair get with a lady, usually Molly French if I remember right. I feel like shes the type to always be there for the women in sunset valley, especially those in similar family situations.
Plus two single parents getting together and rebuilding their family always hits me in the feels

I'm late to the party, but I usually have Claire switch to a different career and play it like she used to be a criminal but decided to clean up her act for her child.

I played Claire Ursine once. When her daughter was a teen, she dated Alexander Goth. He somehow set himself on fire but never took a shower to get rid of the soot overlay they get once the fire is put out, so she dumped him.
Haven’t even gotten past the ad yet and I’m so excited. I’ve learned so much about the Sims 2 lore from you, and I feel like I don’t know much about Sims 3. I’ve recently started going back to Sims 3 after Sims 2 burnout, so I’m so ready for this.

I used to make her get together with Connor Frio, because I feel like their personalities fit well. They both get a marriage and family but can generally be left to themselves to do as they please, fishing and writing. Plus in a way, Connor gets to make up for his brothers poor behaviour.
I've also found that when left to himself, Jared will usually move on to dating Madison VanWatson anyways

Yes! That's exactly who I am playing right now! Just doing 'rotations' of the Keatons, Ursine, and three other families who were having babies when i was playing the neighborhood. Five is all I can handle and we are up to 16 kids at this point!!!

Linda Scott/Unborn baby "Scott" is my favorite pregnancy. I usually have Tariq divorce her immediately so she can marry Rubisel Ichtaca. The baby has never been a girl, so I name him Lucas.

I vote more Sims 3 lore! I think there’s so much about Sims 2 that it’ll be refreshing to have some videos about 3.
Also unpopular opinion: I don’t really like story progression. I get its purpose and why people like it, but I never adjusted to it. I like to be OCD about every single sim 😂
Also also: Sims 3 has the best worlds because they’re beautiful and everything you see you can click on! It’s how it should be.
I have more like this one planned! Also, I used to be the same way about story progression. But now I just lean into it when I play Sims 3. If I want strict rotational, I play Sims 2. Haha!

AH! Whenever I'm playing other families, Claire's daughter always end up being the town brat (nraas). I find that really interesting! 😋
I never played any premade Sims in the Sims 3, I was a hardcore legacy family only so I hardly every ventured from that top lot in the rich part of town 😂 always loved seeing the babies being born through popups, it made the town feel so much more alive! Especially when story progression would impregnate almost all the non played females so these two were like the opening of the flood gates 😂

Love videos like this, I just installed the sims 3 again! It's the game in the series I played the least, I went from the sims 2 almost straight into 4. Now I'm back playing both sims 2 and 3, because as we all know - the sims 4 could never.

I always end up having Jared steal his daughter from Claire and raise her in a secret closet I built in his room XD Don't ask me why I did that, I just did. The Frios were my favorite sims to play, I also always would get Conner and Jamie Jolina together and settle down once she got knocked up lol

I always played Claire in the Sims 3 and she was always a kick butt single mom who eventually ended up with Connor, Jared's brother lol
honestly i can’t say how much i love the sims 3. Personally I don’t play with these two families, (I prefer to give Agnes Crumplebottom the life she deserves) but watching the kids grow up and see how it plays out - esp with Nraas story progression mods - is really quite satisfying!!

Lol, nope! But I did start a new medicine that cleared my skin and is making my hair grow. Plus, I lost 22 lbs. So, doing well!

I played once with Claire, tried to get her back with Jared but he always was mean to her.. I remember it was such a surprise for me that she was pregnant in the first place :D she also had this friend that would come over autonomously just to hang out with her and keep her company.. At some point Claire and Jared got in a fight and since then I lost all hope that they will ever be together again :D
Yesss I love the Ursine family! I named Claire’s baby Arianna and she went on to be one of my favorite sims I’ve played in the Sims 3. She went on to marry Christopher Steel (i didn’t realize how much older he was than her back then lmfao)
I usually have Claire marry Jared's brother Connor who visits his beloved niece frequent and builds up a religious with Claire in tge process sometimes I make them have they own kid.
Ik im late lol but if u choose a home birth then the mother & baby will automatically have a "friend" relationship!

Am I the only one that thinks these families have TV character references? Justine and Marty Keaton remind me of the family names from the show "Family Ties" with actress Justine Bateman and (I know this is a stretch) Michael J Fox also playing Marty McFly in the Back to the Future movies. I name their son Alex P every time, he is now Alex P Keaton. (hehe). Claire Ursine and her baby's father Jared Frio remind me of Claire Danes and Jared Leto of the show "My So-Called Life" and so I name their baby Angela (after Angela Chase, the main character in that TV show). Perhaps there's other hidden references to names in this game? The French and Irish family leaves me flustered, there's a hidden reference in that name too, I just need to figure it out.
How did they go from this to the sims 4? I never played the sims 2 but dang compared to the sims 4 they cut back on alot of good things. They even had taxis you could DRIVE IN...!!
I always have Claire quit her job and join the fishing career(Change Lifetime Wish lifetime reward incoming to Swimming in Cash every Sim can get the easiest including no job or anything on the lot sims who just collect rocks and nap in the park when sleepy and eat veggies out of trash cans or raid picnic baskets in the park(scrap and other found stuff not sold including the mountains of garbage that's disgusting the sim) Or otherwise a most fun sim to play). It much better suits her personality even though that does break the Yogi Bear Easter egg of an ursine thief. She can make enough to pay rent, some savings, and have all the time in the world to dote on her little girl until the teen years but still always have time for her little angel. I never have her hook up with the father, he doesn't seem interested and I doubt would be a good father but I do have Claire take the baby to meet him and change the babies last name to Frio and try to get them to atleast be friends once she becomes a child.
Once the child is a teen I add a new sim to the town, an outdoorsy angler bear of a man sim with the last name Kodiak that just happens to have the same favorites as Claire... and wouldn't you know it Claire always meets him at a fishing hole and it's always love at first sight and ends with elderly Clair and husband fishing away in the warm Sunset Valley evenings on their very own Stoney Falls fishing hole that they own with her daughter and grandchildren playing in the background while the daughters hubby is grilling a perfect salmon Clair or hubby caught. Oh can't forget the tourists and Hart family who show up to the fishing hole who are offered Perfect Grilled Salmon. The Hart family being good friends of Claire and family because they often come to Stoney Falls when they are there and partake in the BBQ fun + Dorie is just fun to have around especially at parties and there's a spiral staircase in the house... Round and around Dorie goes sliding down the banister.
Anywho I just don't do any drama with Claire and she passes away from old age very happy and satisfied with her life and her daughter though not having her real father very involved in her life, she grows into a happy woman with a loving family and husband that cannot get enough of her or their kids. Jack Kodiak is daddy to her and her mothers second true love after fishing. A fairy tale life though not very wealthy in the end, just a good solid middle class. And by then the town is getting mighty empty of residents and near every home is haunted...So time to start a new game.
I love The Sims 3 too. So much gameplay, so much freedom.

Ha I always play in Bridgeport or Isla Paradiso lol...been far too long since I played in Sunset Valley. There was another town, where there's a "Goode and Badd" family and Goode dude has one of his neighbors pregnant lol. But I forget where they reside.

i never played pre made sims in the sims 3 ever. i played with claire from watching this and claire did not want to get married at all, she just wanted to make sure her baby was loved. it’s so interesting how games differ!

i love claire shes one of my favorite townies to play. i usually give her a makeover before she starts to show and she and fiona usually end up together in my game
I'm currently playing Sunset Valley rotationally, and I played the Keatons pretty much like you, I even named their son Aaron. However, with Claire I'm having a different story, I named her daugther Brie, and she has been single (at least for now) since the beggining. She never got back with Jared (he's married to Gwen Glover and has a daughter with her) but they are friends now and he has an active rol in Brie's life. Aaron and Brie are best friends and they are about tobecome teens, so I'm hoping they end up having a romantic relationshíp
I'd love @Pleasant Sims to createa save in an alternate universe in sims 4 with characters like the genderbent Pleasant sisters from her Sims 2 series. Can you imagine how glorious it'd be?

I have a unique style of play. I don’t allow any new Sims to move in nor do I allow NPCs to become playable characters. I just play my foundation sims and their descendants. And a few more rules. But I’ve only ever done it with my own Sims. Your videos really make me want to do it with the Sunset Valley premade families.
