That's awesome. I've watched the MSG live version hundreds of times and this recording sounds practically identical to live version. Jimmy's solo was mostly improvised so to play that solo note for note must have taken a LOT of practice. An improvised solo has lots of beautiful quirks that are hard to replicate exactly. Not to mention getting the perfect guitar tone. Great job.
Great!!! JOB! so close! close as I could ever hope to get. MSG was Jimmy's speaker cab and there was some other magic going on unique to the time and place.
Great homage to the most entertaining guitarist that has existed to this day, something about jimmy page's guitar playing that makes you want to hear what he does next !
Top Job!!! Pickups sound like Gibson T Tops too. You've balanced that middle and bridge to get that Page "Chirp" . I nail the the 1973 No Quarter Tone on my channel with a few other samples if your interested .
I used to listen to the live version 10 times a day lol. I was so inspired I got a guitar the week after first hearing it. This is probably the best cover out there man:) Literally all covers out there play the bit at 0:25-0:29 completely wrong but you have seemed to nail it. Just great attention to detail! Good Job!
Please don't take this the wrong way. But Jimmy Page is absolutely correct when he says, "The guitar is a tactile instrument." I knew immediately ( By the sound) This isn't Jimmy Page playing. But I don't think I've ever heard anyone come as close in my life. And I've been a ZePPeLiN fan since I was a kid when they first hit the scene.
bonham really did some fine drum fills that specific performance. he rarely used them afterwards. I tend to focus on the guitar lead not for note, however, my attention often gets caught on the perfectly timed drum fills.
Impressionnant, j'ai joué ce solo des centaines de fois, j'ai l'impression d'écouter le disque. Je sais pas comment tu as réussi à obtenir ce son avec AMP 4, bravo !!
You nailed it! Haha Btw try to add more reverb just a little bit and crank down the treble a little bit because for me it's a little trebly but you still nailed it the solo well done.👏👏👏
Hi! Thanks for watching. For the preamp i use a plugin called "plexitape", and my settings are: -Sustain: 0 -Volume: 11% (or 1,4) -Preamp: set on "late" -Speed: regular -Bass: 5 -Treble: 5
This is really fantastic - I can't believe this is not Jimmy Page himself playing. Your description mentions "Amplitube 4" - did you do everything in Amplitube and not use any real cabs and mics at all ?
Hi can you give me information of Marshall plexi super lead 100w>How can i find this model at amplitube? , Is this red pig or British tube lead1,2? , british lead s100? , There are so many so hard to find :( Two "4x12 1982 marshall cabinets" loaded with "celestion g12h30's" > Also hard to find this one, I think the name is different in amplitube :( Can you help me about this? Hoping to get your reply message! Thanks!

Man, damn it! It sounds so accurate, I think you are only missing the echoplex
it says in the description:
"Echoplex-3 as a preamp" (plexitape plugin)
Wow! 5-Stars!
Impressionnant, j'ai joué ce solo des centaines de fois, j'ai l'impression d'écouter le disque. Je sais pas comment tu as réussi

He never played it like that again.

Mh... That would be very interesting :D
