TBH I think Chris Slix stands up well on his own two feet - his presentation to camera is excellent & he knows exactly what he is doing. Entertaining
I think so too. He is really good at video and presentation etc. However he's not very good at cars. YET! It'll come though if he keeps on doing it and learning about them. But everyone has to start somewhere. What better place to start than in front of the world. LOL. I'm cheering for him and it gives me a chance to work on my shouting at the screen trying to tell folks what's what. LOL.
Prices for manual r8 v8s on autotrader and In general following the market for years has stayed very same around 35 to 40k for a proper good one even with higher miles your looking at 30 plus k minimum I’ve seen some shocking examples that were advertised with low mileage and the higher miles some were fantastic as re performance says a cheap r8 could need easy 10k work

We buy any car are the biggest con ever! They will knock your right down...i had a 2006 subaru wrx 2.5 with PPP... I paid £6,999 I had it for 1.5 years then decided to sell... WBAC is Clapham Junction offered me £2000 70k their excuse was there's a few stone chips here and there... The sales guy was very persistent thinking he was grabbing a bargain... I obviously said no, he said it would take a year to my car at a higher price... I sold it 3 wekks later for £4,900 and the trader came from Manchester to collect and test drive. Will never consider WBAC again. 😤
Totally agree about We buy any car @ninny. (Although to be fair they are only a con if you take their offer, which of course you don't have to do). A few years ago, they offered me £750. for my Kangoo - in really good condition and very low mileage. Less than 2 weeks later, I sold it through a local ad for £1,445.00. I wouldn't recommend using them unless very desperate.

we buy any cars price was quite fair considering audis and chris's offer. usualy they don't offer what the wheels are worth.
had a range rover once, perfect cream leather seats with green piping to match the exterior. offered 400. told them the f'ing seats would cost them more than that

Chris. If you want double your money for the R8 sell it to the African market. Especially SADC since its mostly RHD. Such a spec is still pricey this side. Nice vid bro

Seeing those trade in prices made me immediately head onto autotrader, search R8 and sort low to high 😂
They are 30k minimum realistically and that’s high mileage, I did the same look half a year back wanting one

I think you should get onto matts mrs and get it on a comp...he seems to fill them up
WhenI sold a car to them last year that was in my ownership for less than four months I had to provide proof of purchase but they still bought it. The car has to have been purchased from a ‘recognised dealer’ and not an auction house etc. so maybe that was actually your problem rather than it being purely down to having owned the car for less than 4 months.

Seem to be wrong about WBAC unless it was down to the price, just changed my late sisters V5C into my name & sold it to them 5 days after notifying DVLA, we had to raise funds to pay for the funeral.
Wow those offers seem really low. The cheapest one you can get in Canada is like $70,000.00 which is around 42k gbp

Daughter was lucky enough to win a new car a few years back. It was worth 12.500 brand new. She didn't need it as she had a better car. We buy any car offered 6 thousand for a brand new seat with delivery mileage!!!!!!!!!

I had an E39 for 20 years. We Steal Any car offered me £99 for it, minus a £50 admin fee for it being below £100 🤣 I it had 2 rear screens and an Xbox in the boot, if I’d left a copy of need for speed in it, it might have tipped it over the magical £100 mark 😀

The Cheapest R8 4.2 Manual is currently 53.000€ (WITH PROBLEMS) in Germany from private sellers. Not even talking about dealerships. The chepeast costs 33.000€ with a Broken Engine. Its absolutely insane how cheap those are in England. You should get that car into Germany and sell it for at least 45.000€ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it shipped to Germany, which may cost 2K € and you will get converted 39.000 Pounds GBP ! 100% with ease, because like i said the cheapest ones which start at 45.000€ have problems such as broken catalytic converters, ABS/ESP Malfunction, Rust or are horrible full rebuilds from car crashes.

Re OBD11. Activating mirror dip on VAG cars requires the mirror to have memory function (hardware) so it’s unlikely to work on a car that doesn’t have mirror dip as an existing feature.
Generally when missing such hardware, it moves a fixed amount no matter the situation.,
