Brisbane Bears | R19 1996 vs Nth. Melbourne (All Goals)

Hard to believe for years we couldn't win in Melbourne. Beat the eventual premiers in this one, on a shocking windy, blustery Sunday arvo at Princes Park.
The Bears beat North twice in the H&A season that year, but lost the Prelim at the MCG without Voss and Akermanis. In fact, we entered R22 on top, but a bad loss to 11th-placed Collingwood -- and wins to Sydney and NM -- bumped us to third. Top spot would've come in handy and earned us a home prelim.
