Very unique and difficult turning shapes, too easy to catch and ripe a tool right out of you hand!! I like Tanya's finishing tones with the stock you choose!! I like Steve's carving touch!! This is a toss up, each having there own merits!! Great work, BOTH of you!!

2 beautiful bowls. Steve’s is turned but then carved a bit to give it that great chopped look. Tanya’s turned and sanded out to a fantastic smooth finish. Both are beautiful. I think o have to go with 2 winners in this competition. Those off cuts are GORGEOUS! Great snag.

If I was looking for smooth and elegant I'd pick Tanyas. If I was going for rugged and elegant I'd go for Steves! They are both very nice but ..... I'm gonna go with the rugged look! Pat each other on the back for two great turns!

I have to pick Tanya’s, I prefer the smooth finish it helps show off the grain. Though both would look good on my fireplace mantel.
