you should consider Benares Hindu University. Modiji has asked us for Atma Nirbar and make in India. Shame that you are thinking of Harvard. I think apart from being meritorious, you have to be uber rich as an International student to even consider affording Harvard. Yeah, you can take a loan, but you still have to present a collateral which can be worth more than 1 crore rupees. Even more so for people studying Bachelor's degrees. So, while being meritorious is great, one will go a long way being rich too.

Thank you for saying this. This is the comment I came to post but you said it very well. And also consider that the student attending Harvard has a better grasp of the English language/Western culture that many people might not.

We get financial aids tho- ivy leagues are really better and cheaper than regular universities in many ways. That's what I believe. Getting accepted is more like flying in heaven
They look at completely irrelevant extra curriculars like why does someone who want to become engineer need to have things like sports under his belt ( software development internships are something which are fine and related) in this sense cal tech mit are way better.

i think it'd amazing if you talk about how Harvard or any other foreign University can make a student feel overwhelmed. Because obviously for someone to go to a completely different country all by themselves, with no friends or connections can be tough. And as much as all of us love this diversity of foreign Universities, it could also be a nightmare for someone to be around so many different minded people..

It is a great video. Well done Avanti and team! I particularly liked the wide variety of students you showcased and the fact that you used Hindi once in a while - which is always lovely. Also, can I please get some more information on the actual requirements - not the exams per se but the min scores etc.
Lastly, I am confused though why so many of the students have an American accent, if they are relatively new to US, and don't seem to have an Indian accent. It always feels rather nice and authentic when we use our own Indian accent, of course, making sure it is easy for others to understand. The whole world has an accent - and we need to be proud of ours!

Hey Avanti I have been watching your videos since a couple of weeks and I am from Nepal and it is quite tough for Nepalese to get into Harvard so can you please make a detailed video with Ishaan about how he got into Harvard .
He is in the mathematics program so i'm guessing he is a math genius. Basically the only way to get in from Nepal is be a Math or Computer Science genius so you can get a scholarship.

@@ladusingh2141 Dude, your comment is Great . But the Honest reality is , these things look good only in talking and great speeches by Modi Ji. There is so much caste & language discrimination in india , feels very bad to even say. My friends also said Banaras Hindu University is good . But we dont have much choices, other places wherever you go, there is discrimination of language and caste. Even my younger sister had problems , lots of Eve teasing , boys harassing etc. So my sister is studying in Australia now.

I love my country brother 🙏. If all were good here , i could have studied here only. Even there are lots of bribe in India. So, the only reason to leave India and go out. But we are no way anti India. The bad situation in India forces us to go out. Why will we leave our family and study abroad ? If we had no caste discrimination/ language etc & safe here with people good , we could have happily studied here only.
