What I studied at an Ivy League school is nowhere near a tier 2 or 3 school in India. For instance, I went to Cornell and we had a couple of weeks at the end of every semester where the prof taught us how they start businesses on the side in that scientific field, including raising funds. They even wrote with chalk and made us take notes in notebooks and literally prescribed little to no reference books. BEst part was they said this is the base now go use your imagination with this.

I think it is very wrong to say that the Professors from top colleges and teaching of top colleges in US are similar to India. All the top US colleges have Professors with top notch knowledge, experience and degree. If you have taken a live course with them you will be able to know the difference and all the students of such colleges I have talked to have said that ofcourse the people there are awesome and that's the best part about it. But the second best part about it is the Professors and there style of teaching.

I think the difference is indian professors aren't really passionate about what they are doing its a job for them, obviously that is our education system's fault. While those professors chose to do it because they had the freedom to, so that passion shows in their teaching. Knowledge wise I'd say they are at the same level.

Computer hardwared engineers are taught about floppy drives in their books and also asked in exams, who uses floppys.
I am in 12 th and Chemistry book still doesn't have elements name in periodic table after 100 years of ttheir discovery.
In my electronics department we are taught IC 555 timer IC now just no where it is used and by teaching it is a waste of time...
In our History textbooks 200 years old history of British is portrayed wrong... unnecessory glorification of useless leaders like Nehru and Gandhi.... and just one one paragraph about bhagat singh and azad and many other great leaders ...
Pick any A tier engineering college and ask what is the marks of practical and what is the marks theory paper .... you will get a 20 80 or 30 70 ratio .... i am like dude you are doing fucking engineering that too Btech and BE like course which you teach theory and then blame that companies are not giving jobs .... why tf will companies give jobs to a person who just know the formula of Gauss and Law of Motion just on Paper ? they need practical work

i dont want to be to argumentative here, but if we are discussing "better" ranking universities, the majority of ivy league universities are ranked above these universities being listed. I would never consider UCLA to be better than say Penn, or Berkeley better than Harvard. Stanford and UChicago are comparable, while northwestern is also not on par with ivies (but i would consider closer than berkeley and ucla, but it is also dependent on your major). While the ivy league is an athletic conference, when people discuss it, it is a prestigious academic group, and for good reason. They are all top universities, in the setting of the usa and the world. Thats not to say the universities you mentioned arent great. But i feel an east coast versus west coast argument is an argument formed of initial bias and outright wrong to discuss.

This is very generalized and there is a lot more to it than stated in the video. The criteria such as expertise in the subject matter, real-world leading experience and stake in the respective industries, and the depth the approach to the curriculum requires is what sets these schools and its professors apart from the rest of the world. Aside from the alumni network and whatnot. It is a very three-dimensional education that goes beyond textbook learning and exams. It’s not back and white. The students also are screened holistically for many things besides scores and whatnot. There’s a lot to it.

Guys with siblings and friendship holic , can't adapt adverse situations , they tend to use sell their falsehoods to enhance their chance to get fame in their home country.
The middleclass of Delhi, Haryana ,punjaab etc are rich in comparison to the youth of other states and they have a lot of connections , so dont get discouraged with such mafias of fund creators.

The point ivy league colleges are top 10 educationally is not correct Ivy was never created because of educational background but due to sports culture if you will see brown won't come in top 50 there are colleges like Stanford MiT are not Ivey league and still the best and when it comes to best it's subjective term since lot depends on domain you are talking about
