Today I went to the new LCA outdoor track and ran 3 different races, but the question is, how many can I win? Subscribe if you enjoyed the video and want to see me run even more.
5 minutes as an 8th grader! really impressive man keep up the good work and never give up man. I'm a freshman and I run a 4:27 right now and almost qualified for new balance nationals. you will break 4:30 your freshman year I believe in you!!!
4:27 is really impressive as a freshman! keep up the good work and never give up man. I'm a sophomore and I run a 4:14 right now and I've qualified for multiple national races such as new balance and Nike. Hopefully you can make it to the big races your sophomore year! I believe in you fs! 🤪
nice job, how many miles per week are you at? 5:00 mile in 8th grade could be bigger than you think, as long as youre running off of talent right now, when you put in the work youll run faster in the upcoming years
I do about 40 miles a week, two workouts and a long run on the weekend, normally one of the workouts is a threshold workout, and the other varies depending on when the next race is
@@therealcalebcooper that makes sense. Where I’m from in Texas the 2400 is run at every middle school meet, but it is an unconventional event everywhere else, so it does make sense. However with how smooth you look in the mile I’m sure you could run a really fast 3200!
Great races! You looked fast and smooth, and really seemed to be giving your best effort. You are certainly one to watch. YES, I subscribed.😎
Thank you!! 😎
5:00 Nice! I ran 4:52 at the end of my freshmen year. I now run 4:23 as a senior. Don't get injured and you'll be a dangerous proposition my friend!!
Thanks dude!
Thanks dude!

Keep up the good work bro !
Nice job, my first meet witch was yesterday i won for the 400 meter boys race!
That’s awesome good job!
What does your training look like and damm well done you basically beat like 50% of most runners in my area😂
Thanks dude. I normally do 35-42ish miles a week, 2 workouts and a long run somewhere in there
@@therealcalebcooper damn straight that's solid brother

Yeah I would like to think I was running off talent, but I run 40ish miles a week so probably not so much talent as it is good training
I started in 10th grade at 6:32 and got to 5:48, then started 11th at 5:16 and ended at 5:10, then in 12th started at 4:52 and finished at 4:44.
800m-2:32, 2:18, 2:07
2 mile-13:56, 11:56, 10:37
5k-22:20, 19:56, 18:26, 17:28, 17:09
10k-38:28, 36(not done)
Half marathon-1:24:52
Nice job dude
@@therealcalebcooper thanks
nice! I wish I had you as my competition. I recently won my 1600m in 5:09, and I'm in 8th grade as well. What do you do for training?
I do about 40 miles a week, two workouts and a long run on the weekend, normally one of the workouts is a threshold workout, and the other varies depending on when the next race is
@@therealcalebcooper thank you!
I still think you can shave off a minute and a second in the 1600m race.
Probably
Dang 5 minutes for a mile? How did you train for this. Great job man
Thanks dude! Lots of mileage and staying consistent certainly helped
i just won my 16, 800, and 32 at my meet on wednesday. felt pretty good
Good job!
the 800 hurts fr 😭😭
👏🏼👏🏼
Is there a reason you don't run the longer distances like the 2400 or 3200? But that 5 flat mile is really impressive as an 8th grader!
The 2400 isn’t very commonly run so I haven’t ever done that, but I was planning on doing a 3200 this season before it got cancelled

@@judahjames904 thanks!
I won three races in one meet. But like it was pretty easy so idk if it counts. 🤷♀️
Well good job anyway
Shooting while running is a bad idea.
I would agree
Is this a jv meet
