I Went to the FIRST Gluten Free Fast Food Restaurant (Las Vegas, NV) 🍕

I went to PowerSoul Cafe, the world’s first CERTIFIED Gluten Free fast food chain!

I was super impressed by PowerSoul’s dedication to being safe for Celiacs and gluten-related allergies or intolerances. Their whole kitchen is Certified Gluten Free to be under 5ppm (which apparently there is no way to be like Certified 0ppm, “under 5ppm” is as low as you can get). There is no gluten allowed in the facility ever and everything they offer is for gluten free people.
Additionally, they offer vegan, keto, dairy free, and more. Dina, the founder, is meticulous about the ingredients in the food, making sure that it not only tastes good, but that the ingredients are good-for-you
You can use their Discover My Power tool on their site to filter out what you can and can’t eat at PowerSoul. And for me, being gluten AND dairy free, I could eat plenty and I really enjoyed everything I got
In terms of the pizza, PowerSoul uses Capitol Certified Gluten Free Wheat Starch flour (less than 5ppm of gluten certified) for most of their pizzas (but they do offer a keto version that is cooked separately). Caputo is popular in Europe and is used in many pizzas you’d find there
So if you’re a celiac, this pizza should be safe for you in terms of ppm of gluten, but as always, make your own decisions i’m not a doctor or a dietician or even a celiac - i’m just a guy, with eosinophilic esophagitis. So always do what you think is right for you and your body!!
*** ALSO - Wheat starch is NOT safe for those diagnosed with Wheat allergies! So if you’re allergic to Wheat, you can eat the other items on the menu, as pizza is the only items that contain wheat and it’s cooked in it’s own oven
Anyways, I truly loved PowerSoul’s food, and speaking with their awesome team and Founder. I know that they have plans to expand across the US and beyond. So let’s hope they do and that we can all eat safe gluten free food 24/7!
