The Irish food at New York New York may (or may not) be authentic, but what about the Italian food at the Venetian Las Vegas? Check out my review of the pizza at the Grand Canal Shoppes! th-cam.com/video/0VoU3CZtPec/w-d-xo.html

Not really Irish food, the lamb stew would have been a better choice. No corned beef or smoked shoulder with cabbage, potatoes, & carrots

Loved this.... Could you show us how Eaterly is now with Covid and social distancing? We plan on visiting in September (Family group of 7) and videos show -pre-covid- how crowded and difficult it was to find a table.... Watching, subscribed and taking notes on EVERY SINGLE new video you are doing! Thank you so much, especially in this difficult time for all of us to understand.

I was raised in Scotland and Ireland from a mum born in Scotland and nana born in Ireland so I have had Irish food my whole life and the beer battered is not authentic Irish food at all. Now regular fish and chips have become a popular dish in Ireland. But honestly nothing you ordered is what traditional Irish food looks like. I have eaten at nine five Irish men before and nothing tastes authentic I was disappointed but I’m never disappointed in your videos. You are a wonderful TH-camr always a joy to watch.

Typical UK pub food. Last time I had pub food it was sausage and mash with onion gravy. The pie is something my mum would cook, just put the mash potato on top and stick in the oven. When it comes to fish and chips, I have about five local, one being literally a five minute walk.

Yeah its bad when restaurants say shepherds pie and then they skimp and cheat and use beef. Sheep means lamb and if they use beef they should call it Cowherders Pie. And lamb does not even cost that much more then beef.

I think the reason the batter on fish wasn't crispy was all the vinegar and lemon juice you drizzled on, it certainly looked crispy before ,,, also I think the typical Irish meal would have been the lamb stew , coming from UK and been to Ireland I would recommend that 😊

Not value for $$$ overpriced. I love Sherperds Pie but yours was beef that's not Sherperds Pie it's traditionally made with lamb! This restaurant needs to get it's A game on & become more mindful of its brand association. Every thing looked great we get great Bangers & mash in New Zealand as our meat is exported all over the world highly reputable great quality. It's more English food you ate than Irish. Malt vinegar used on chips. Lemon juice on fish as you squeezed it all over you lost crispy! Break a piece of fish squeeze lemon than consume it is best. Your lovely lady is looking amazing she speaks well with conviction & open mind so amazing commentary. I wish she would allow her gorgeous face to shine a couple of times as she's just like you a foodie. But we respect her privacy as you Derek are the show stopper 🤣 But overall all dishes I would try for sure even though their more comfort foods made in colder months so can be heavy for summer months👍awesome presentation Bangers missing side dish some green peas 🤔showing us the bill is great too so we can see costings👍keep living your dreams dining out with you is mouthwatering fun 😊❤❤❤

Hi from your friends in Ireland. I have to say the menu is more on the UK side of things. Shepherd's Pie is made from ground lamb, if it's made from beef it's called Cottage Pie. A great Irish dish would be Irish stew or Guinness beef stew. Dublin Bay Prawns are fantastic 👍we have some of the best seafood in the world, from oysters to seabass, mackerel, lobster, crab. The list is endless. Ireland has come along way over the last few years . Our produce is second to none. Grass fed cattle and sheep that are the best 👍. I was in Vegas in 2018 and had a blast 😀 congratulations on getting engaged. I wish the both of you the best of happy times 👍

I really like the addition of your fiancee to these videos. She articulates the flavours and textures very well, and seems like such a pleasant person. I also like the mix of you conversing with her, and the camera, instead of alone and just to the camera.

Malt vinegar is traditional on fish and ships from Ireland. Although those pieces were way overcooked you can see the coating was burnt. Shepherd's pie look absolutely delicious. But I'm with you I think that number one dish was the bangers and mash that looked absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious with that gravy yum. Only thing that was missing was a pint of Guinness.

Ri Ra Irish Pub in Mandalay Bay is by far mine and my wife’s favorite place in Vegas. We went to Nine Fine Irishmen before and Ri Ra is still far better. Not sure if you have a video on that. Nightly love music as well. Great scotch eggs.

I found Bangers to by very tender and mild also. We are so used to all of the Polish, Italian and German style sausages we eat more of here in the U.S. and these three are very spicy. There is a Polish Market in Troy Michigan that has a huge selection of wonderful sausage and also groceries from Poland.

Looked very disappointing and average. No snap to the sausage, non-crispy fish batter, and plain mashed potatoes with ground beef. Not to mention $20 each for two sausages and two pieces of fish? Sorry you had to go through that but that thank you for the video and letting us know where not to go! 👍

We've been to Ireland many times, my wife is British, she's a Fish & Chips demanding customer, she said it looked about right, she likes a thinner batter, so its most crispy. With the Sheppard's pie you need lots of gravy.

I live in Plymouth UK, I can say you're eatting traditional uk and Ireland pub food. I wouldn't say it's entirely Irish food. I'll argue the fact that fish and chips is British and not Irish.

My family is Irish and I’m English, and this is def more English food. I enjoy the food at NFI but it’s not proper Irish food. Cottage pie is made with beef, shepherds pie is made with minced lamb. Vinegar or lemon for the fish but generally not both, but that batter looked waaay too soggy. You need to get over to the northern England for the best fish & chips. You need salt and vinegar of the chips. The onion gravy looked pretty good, I really don’t like gravy in the US. That cottage pie looked like the meat needed more gravy in it. The meat looked bland.

NIne Fine Irishmen is hands down my favorite restaurant in Vegas. The prices are very reasonable for an on-strip restaurant and the quality is top notch. You should try the chicken pot pie. It is the best I have ever had anywhere!!! They also make the best bloody marry in Vegas.
