And I honestly doubt he really doesn't like the kind of content he's making, he literally hires people to make those thumbnails for him most of the time and is well aware that those videos get the most views, and thus he continues to milk the system for that sweet revenue despite the actually legit problems that come with doing that. Such as the fact that his very clearly young audience is being subjected to these borderline TOS breaking thumbnails, community posts and comic dubs and he often fails to credit people correctly (if even at all). I honestly doubt that he is trying to improve or hell, maybe he doesn't wanna improve at all. I don't know, I'm not Cougar. But it sure as hell to me looks like he has little to no regret in the content he's making due to how much he's gaining from it despite it's legitimate issues. If he were actually focused on improving his content, he'd at the very least drop the suggestive thumbnails, yet he hasn't. I could be wrong about this, but this is the impression I'm getting from his content and his words regarding it.

Yes, For Example Canon_MMD. He create the best Godzilla Anime Trilogy "What If" animation in MMD, frickin' MMD. Usually Most Of MMD animation is Dance Animation, very view people make a good short movie using MMD (of course it take a lot of time) for example like, MMD V.I.P & End Of Space Battleship Arizona.
The main thing is that the thumbnails are bad. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with making up your own personalities for kaiju if it somewhat alines with the character. For an example Space Godzilla being a lazy drunk uncle in Quazies videos but nobody hates him for him making up an entire new personality for space goji.

Something that personally concerns me is the thought of the comics’ artists (by that I mean ones like the bloke who made the comic, the dub of which is being analysed in this video) having their reputations potentially destroyed for their art being associated with Cougar’s NSFW cash-grabs
With all the animosity towards Cougar (which is understandable, I think the sexualization is obnoxious and I have other problems with his style of dubbing), I gotta wonder how people feel towards Ruubesz, the artist who made the comic in the video. A lot of people really dislike Mothzilla and any other monster pairings, but also associate Cougar in 2019 as having better content, despite the fact that Ruubesz has always had Mothzilla in their comics and the same applies to Cougar who dubbed them back then.

Several years ago, I stumbled upon this guy’s channel when he was just starting out. The content was much more normal back then, just a bunch of memes really. Then I stopped watching him for a while, probably about 1 or 2 years. When I came back, his channel was COVERED in the suggestive content he’s known for today, latching onto whatever trend he could get his hands on. It was genuinely sad to see, and his content hasn’t improved since.
The Rubezz Godzillaverse doesn’t follow a set continuity, it's more of a merger of all Godzilla media, for example, Shin Godzilla is canonically a separate character from Godzilla and he creeps the other kaiju out (his debut in cougar's dub is a great example of how cougar used to be good)
I started watching this guy all the way back when he first started his godzilla content. He used to do pretty normal stuff, just the standard comic dub format: comic , voice acting, music and some sound effects here and there. But then he started just adding extra lines all over, to the point where him and that cringeworthy dialogue were taking up most of the video. At that point things were already kinda grim , but then the started inviting new artists, and not the "I'll make a silly comic were the kaiju are doing funny shenanigans" kind but the "so this is my Godzilla fursona in a bikini" kind. What's worse is the comic you picked was one the better ones he's dubbed, ruubezs is great artist and most of his comics are just lighthearted hijinks and poking fun at the franchise. All of the other stuff Cougar is just horny bait. Even when he does do something normal it's botched by that attrocious dialogue, his channel has voice actor in the name but it feels as if he's lost the passion for it given how he turned his channel into a content farm that just mooches off whatever is most popular.

I remember I watched a few of his videos back in 2019/2020 around when KOTM came out. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the voice acting, didn't get why he gave so many of the characters random accents, and didn't find any of his improv funny. While I can say his voice acting seems to have improved, it's disappointing to know that the other two issues still exist in full force on top of the new thumbnail issue. I think we can all agree, Cougar MacDowell has milked every currently popular/subpopular IP to death.
The main thing is that the thumbnails are bad. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with making up your own personalities for kaiju if it somewhat alines with the character. For an example Space Godzilla being a lazy drunk uncle in Quazies videos but nobody hates him for him making up an entire new personality for space goji.
Really not even the thumbnails are bad lol there’s clearly an audience for them since they generate clicks. This comes off as so pedantic to me lol
I used to watch Cougar's content back when he made silly but respectable Godzilla videos. I left when he started to ship Godzilla characters and it's sad to see he doubled down on it.

The Mothra X Godzilla ship to me was always more of a “inside” “silly” joke than something that should be taken seriously. It’s more of a brother sister relation than it is romantic.

A lot of people really dislike Mothzilla and any other monster pairings, but also associate Cougar in 2019 as having better content, despite the fact that Ruubesz has always had Mothzilla in their comics and the same applies to Cougar who dubbed them back then.

Several years ago, I stumbled upon this guy’s channel when he was just starting out. The content was much more normal back then, just a bunch of memes really. Then I stopped watching him for a while, probably about 1 or 2 years. When I came back, his channel was COVERED in the suggestive content he’s known for today, latching onto whatever trend he could get his hands on. It was genuinely sad to see, and his content hasn’t improved since.

The Rubezz Godzillaverse doesn’t follow a set continuity, it's more of a merger of all Godzilla media, for example, Shin Godzilla is canonically a separate character from Godzilla and he creeps the other kaiju out (his debut in cougar's dub is a great example of how cougar used to be good)

I started watching this guy all the way back when he first started his godzilla content. He used to do pretty normal stuff, just the standard comic dub format: comic , voice acting, music and some sound effects here and there. But then he started just adding extra lines all over, to the point where him and that cringeworthy dialogue were taking up most of the video. At that point things were already kinda grim , but then the started inviting new artists, and not the "I'll make a silly comic were the kaiju are doing funny shenanigans" kind but the "so this is my Godzilla fursona in a bikini" kind. What's worse is the comic you picked was one the better ones he's dubbed, ruubezs is great artist and most of his comics are just lighthearted hijinks and poking fun at the franchise. All of the other stuff Cougar is just horny bait. Even when he does do something normal it's botched by that attrocious dialogue, his channel has voice actor in the name but it feels as if he's lost the passion for it given how he turned his channel into a content farm that just mooches off whatever is most popular.

I remember I watched a few of his videos back in 2019/2020 around when KOTM came out. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the voice acting, didn't get why he gave so many of the characters random accents, and didn't find any of his improv funny. While I can say his voice acting seems to have improved, it's disappointing to know that the other two issues still exist in full force on top of the new thumbnail issue.
