I think you did good. I have a xr70r and I’m doing it finally! I am a double amputee recently but couldn’t finish it. It’s a 1997 that I bought in 2001 and didn’t want to mess with it. But anyways I think it’s worth it to do!
Very well done video. Lots of info and no non-sense. Thank you so much for sharing your build! Looks great and I hope you enjoy that build for many years to come.
@@twinzspeedshop5931 Ahhh, bummer man. I'm sure you enjoyed it while you had it. It looked sick! I really do appreciate the info as I am looking into re-building a 70 and a 50 for my boys in the near future. Your tips will come in handy. I plan to 88cc both of the bikes.
Hey man thanks a ton for the info on the forks, I found them on eBay and wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them. This video was literally the only thing out there. Again, thanks! I ordered some for $125
@@jackmoran6045 for sure! I don’t get wild enough to ever hit the skid with this bike, just putt around and practice wheelies and all that fun jazz but I do want to do a bbr skid since this bike has a lot of good parts invested on it, need to protect them lol
@@twinzspeedshop5931 appreciated I got a 2002 xr50 I'm doing build on doing same suspension setup like u did just looks cheapest and most driveable for a adult im 6ft
That is one nasty machine! I'm not as good as you but I found a company t-bolt USA and I bought a modified engine I think they called it a Works engine!? Price was good they built the entire engine up for me new piston head carburetor gaskets rings intake Heavy Duty clutch they even installed it in their test machine ran it adjusted the jetting swapped oil again and send it to me as a complete engine including leaving all the wires hooked up the CDI coil ignition wires kill wire everything with plugged in all I had to do was put two bolts in sprocket chain exhaust system gas and I was ready to go. Vince could not be more helpful. Good luck with your racing or off-roading by the way pit bikes are a lot of fun the best hobby ever
Dude this is the sickest 50 I’ve ever seen…totally legit! 🤙

The eBay skid plate does not hold up well to a real hit the $88 for the bbr skid plate is 100% worth it for the genuine one
So far it’s held up great for what I do with it, time will tell what will happen 🤣
@@twinzspeedshop5931 deff time will tell I folded one of the cheap ones trying to wheelie onto the stand only will buy quality skid plates sense haha

How much did they charge for the motor ?
Do the forks clunk on you when they extend on a sharp hit like a pot hole too? They fit but good lord they slam bad like there is no buffer
