Every man needs a supportive woman like camera girl, that "you had fun with it right" caught me right in the feels . The bike looks fantastic though. I didn't think the red and gold would look that good together but I was pleasantly surprised.
Looks great. And I think you could get closer to 1700-1800. If I was you I would sign it and offer it to subscribers. Alot of us really enjoy you folks.
So sweet, "Did you have fun, its worth it". Well worth it. Nice detail and meditation, working on my bikes are my at home are vacation at home, love you two
Our 20+ year old XR50 is bone stock and runs like a champ. Typically starts after sitting all winter with a choke and a couple kicks. It always makes me smile with its reliability. You guys are great. 😎
As we like to say in Australia "it's just like a bought one". Very nice. When she said she didn't care how much you spent as long as you enjoyed yourself we know you have a keeper and have found a one in a million woman.
Its amazing how much things add up. Really the two big items are the seat (I agree about the badge, they should be ashamed) and the stator. Definitely all worth the grin factor though👍.
It's been such a long time since I saw you guys, you're a lucky guy Jen is the kind of woman every good man needs and I get the impression you two are good together
You had fun right? Yes! thats all that matters at the end of the day. Man it looks good aswell. The time you spend on all the small details really shows your passion for this type of thing. Keep it up. Love from South Africa
Great job! Started right up. With those bbr parts and big bore kit. I won’t take Less than $1,700 probably could get $1,950 to someone wanting a pit stunt bike. Love the videos keep up the great work. And tell yourself don’t worry be HAPPY!!
I love the comment, “Those rusty bolts are a tip of the hat, of its previous life…”. I’m going to use that comment about the rust on my Outback when I sell it.
Did you have fun? Yeah kinda? Thats enough for me. It was worth it. She is truely happy to see him happy even if he is happy with money pits :D she's a keeper fr!
Bike looks sweet.Crazy how it doesn’t even look like the same bike.Actually looks like a brand new one. I know these restore’s can get expensive but hopefully we can see more restore content like this to in the future along with your repairs ones. Also would like to say that yes for the amount of money it costs to repair and restore an old bike you could have just bought a new one. But theres a different feeling about taking an old non running bike and repairing it or restoring it that you’d never get by just buying a new one. Plus let’s face it people love watching old non running bikes get fixed or restored.
Once you buy one you’ll own a bunch of them, they’re addicting i have 9 various makes and models of smaller bikes from 50-190cc one is built up like a supermoto I call it my minimoto
also consider a CT50/90 they are more 'useable' & have been around for decades as well. Either way once you have a small bore Honda beware they can take over.
It looks fantastic! Very well done 👏. And also, u two are just wonderful ❤️, your true value is your kind nature and genuine persona despite the fact I love your content. Stay awesome u guys 🙏
With all the upgrades and the restore that thing should go for $1500 all day. But i know what you mean about not being any money in restoring old bikes. Like you, I do it for the enjoyment. My son and I restored a 1983 xr80 about 3/4’s the way and it was a blast. Super cool video. What you said at the end about camera girl was chivalrous.
Worth noting that yours is a well sorted example of an XR & if someone wants to buy it as a present (for their kids) It's worth a bit more, plus the light is a bonus. As is the modifications. I prefer std bikes but in all honesty would probably want a big bore kit (etc etc). You could always make it more standard & sell the upgrade bits separately. A quick eBay check (UK) showed CRF50-XR80 from 1500 to 2400 (converted to US) So $1500 dollars seems fair. Plus you rescued a bike which in most people eyes (that watch your work) makes you a saviour of sorts. The pride in riding a bike I've built up from a wreck/ box of bits is worth it. Rock on !
Nice save man! That’ll make some kid very, very, happy & I’m sure you’ll make a few bucks in the process. Re the seat, ya should probably return it & exchange it for one where the label is straight now that you’ve completed the video.

With that big bore upgrade, pipe and seat he should get more out of it than what he said and it looks really good
No way 1800 is waaay to high. A brand new Honda 50 is 2300 bucks here in Canada. I think it’s a cool bike but like 1300 tops.
your videos make us all smile...

"Did you have fun? I don't care" Got yourself a good one there!
I've been watching you guys for a while and I'm so glad you still make videos! Thank ya'll!
Its amazing how much things add up. Really the two big items are the seat (I agree about the badge, they should be ashamed) and the stator. Definitely all worth the grin factor though👍.
Keep them coming! Love the dad jokes and wholesome family content! Y’all are the best!
You did a great job, looks wonderful. I bought my two boys a 50 and a 70 Honda just like that one when they were young. They are in their 30's now.
Love to see machines brought back to their former glory.
Pretty rare to see a clean and good running one listed for under $1500. Good job getting it detailed and dialed in.
It’s great that you have a supportive and understanding wife. Great video!
It's been such a long time since I saw you guys, you're a lucky guy Jen is the kind of woman every good man needs and I get the impression you two are good together
You're winning in life with a supportive woman by your side. 💪👏
As always, another of your projects has turned out great and has been enjoyable to watch as you took us along! Thanks!

WOW! That Turned Out Very Good.
It is always a joy to watch your videos.
Camera Girl is riding much more confident and better, than the first video on her first ride.

Thank you for your thoughts. It is satisfying to make a machine nice again, and that is worth something. Glad you like the videos.
Beauty resto! The front fender needs some pin stripes with some of the gold wrap,(clever)
👍❤️
Miigwech (thank you) for your vision 🙏🏽
we men should all be so lucky to have a wife like camera girl !

You do good work Sir.
I love how supportive your wife is!
It looks like you put a lot of work into it. But it turned out great, good job, guys.
It looks awesome!!! Good job! I like when you custom fabricate things it is truly inspiring how professional it turns out
And a good artist, you are!
This video series has me sold on getting an xr50 or 70 to zip around on my property.
Once you buy one you’ll own a bunch of them, they’re addicting i have 9 various makes and models of smaller bikes from 50-190cc one is built up like a supermoto I call it my minimoto
You will not be disappointed.

Looks great. Better than the boring white new bike, you showed the screenshot of.
It looks fantastic! Very well done 👏. And also, u two are just wonderful ❤️, your true value is your kind nature and genuine persona despite the fact I love your content. Stay awesome u guys 🙏
Your art inspires. It bought a smile to my face, and I felt the work and pride in your art piece. It is a wonder to behold.
You do great work.

Bike runs and idles Idles nicely. My 2005 never ran that smoothly. Great work.

👏👏👏 me clapping my hands when you said "this is my art"
Looks so good. The red plastic and gold parts are a killer combo.
Looks amazing. Don't forget that is the only XR50 with a headlight on it. Those parts are $200 alone.
XR50*

My daughter has an 04 CRF70 I want to put that big bore kit on. She’s been riding a few years now and ready for a little more power.
