How big did you drill out that oil inlet?? I have a z50r converted to a 88cc big bore and I’ve never seen the drill out you did until now lol you’ve spiked my curiosity
@@KGRowlo LOL I just spent 3 hours cleaning a 1974 Honda Z50 engine and frame in preparation for a restoration...I will not remove, crack open an engine or work on a bike until it is clean...I approach a resto like surgery, the cleaner the procedure is the less likely you are going to have an infection (like damaged bearings and loss of lifespan) and it's the professional way to do it...It amazes me how many people will change a plug with mud around the area or crack open an engine with dirt caked all over the cases, just FN' lazy and unprofessional.
What size hole drill you use? I have mine all apart as of yesterday. I have all the same TB Parts you got except the 4 speed. Which I decided to do? Close ratio?
I believe I said what size drillbit to use in the video Edit : not this video, my bad🤦🏼♂️I have a couple 88cc builds and I go more depth in the other video and say what size the bit is
Good video 🤘🏼😎 and well done!! Been wanting to do my daughters crf50 now. My son has a 50 with the 88kit, but he prefers his crf80 for the suspension ride.
I like the video for the most part but it was missing something obvious. Why didn't you show it run on the street or at the very least describe it's performance once fully adjusted? I have been wanting to do the same to my son's CRF50 but want to know it is worth the time and money.
Mainly because it wasn’t my bike, I built it for someone and he came and got it as soon as I finished🤷♂️I did build one of these as my personal bike and do ride it in multiple videos, but I haven’t touched much on performance. Mainly because the majority of people that do these builds already know what to expect from reading forums online! The 88cc kit 120% worth it, I would do it to every 50 I came across! If you do any research on it, about every forum on google will tell you it’s a great increase of power… The 4th gear conversion on the other hand, Yes if you are riding a lot of streets and need that extra gear, but if you are just riding around the yard keep the 3 speed👍 Hope this helped! Thanks for watching🤙
That’s impressive man ! Good work
🙏I appreciate it
The song you used on the next day what’s it called
Shesh man I have no idea to be honest🤷♂️I use epidemic sound music so it’s all copyright free….and it’s all random
@@KGRowlo ok I’ll try to find it thanks
that was a dope video and a very clean build, keep the fiddy content coming
Appreciate you🙏Thanks👍
Hell of a build and I can attest to the end result. This bike absolutely rips! Thanks brother
Enjoy man🔥
Awesome vid and edits and filming and shop and bike and build
🙏appreciate you man
how long does it last?
Where did you order the upgrades
TBparts.com and amazon for the bearings
@@KGRowlo thanks currently putting together a 70cc

Im not sure the drill size, but I mentioned it in another one of my 88cc big bore videos!
Pretty much what I want todo to my z50 before I do complete suspension. Then I’ll go with something crazy and a clutch
Nice job you work like I do...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN...It drives me insane when I see people open up dirty engines.
Appreciate it🙏I’m OCD so everything has to stay clean and organized 😆

Can you link all the parts you used for the 4 speed conversion
Just the 4 speed conversion! Google 50cc 4 speed conversion and you'll be where you need to be!
@@KGRowlo thank you i got the engine apart and i am just waiting on parts

Thanks! Order some crf80 suspension for the 88👍

Nice video. It'll run better with a bigger exhaust. The stock exhaust is choking it up too much which is why you had the bog
Looks good but didn't explain the details of how to do it.
Thanks! But this wasn't a How To Video... Sorry!
Cool but i didnt see a torque wrench once in this video...
I don’t use a torque wrench on these pit bike motors, bigger motors different story👍
Wow man
might as well do a whole engine rebuild
nvm you did
Cool
Can I send you my engine for the same? I would love that.
Yeah I’m sure we could work something out👌Message me on Instagram same as TH-cam
