I am in love with mine. I have 20 watches in my collection and bb58 blue has been my favorite. Can’t take my eyes off of it. At the AD, I had a moment when I had to choose in between the black dial vs blue... I am happy with my decision on blue.
In Nov 2021 I bought the Black Bay 58 Navy Blue on a bracelet to compliment a range of predominantly black-dialled watches in my collection that include the classic Rolex Submariner Date 16610 that I've cherished for 19 yrs. The Tudor is a super, very well-made luxury timepiece and I appreciate its rather understated blue dial and aluminium bezel compared to the 'bling-blue' ceramic of my Omega Seamaster 300. Like-for-like think of the Blue 58 as a more modern take on its original black and gilt sibling. The blue really pops in daylight or in well-lit rooms and a pleasure to wear. Although not quite up there with the Rolex in the absolute quality stakes - but why should it when it's barely 35% of a Sub's retail price - go to an AD and try one on. An in-house COSC certified movement, 70 hrs power reserve.... you won't be disappointed. Forget about the faux rivets - you cannot see them when wearing the watch and they are a cool idiosyncrasy.
A part of me is mad it isn’t a 300m watch and the other part realizes no one really even needs a watch that can go 200ft, let alone 200m. I think the Omega Seamaster is the best value dive watch in its class. I know its slightly more expensive than the Black Bay but also much cheaper than a Sub and actually available.
I was lucky enough to get one on release day. I love it! The hype was a bit too much - it felt like 6 months of pent up hype unloaded on this watch. But it is an excellent watch that I love to wear.
I got mine back in July and have worn it every day since. I really like it and find it the first pick in the morning. But this week I received my new BB58 black version. Didn't have to wait long either. It is a very different watch although actually the same of course. But it looks and feels different. More classy and stylish, warm and inviting. The blue is great but perhaps a little too bright and clinical. I might have to make a decision soon and let one go because having 7000 euros tied up in two watches is a bit much. Not sure yet which will go to the gas chamber of life.

For the price, absolutely yes it’s worth the hype.

Beautiful watch, despite the hype.

Slightly more expensive?
Ugly bracelet.
Anyone that has doubts need to try it on.

An instant classic.
Amazing value for money
There's nothing that can match the Tudor BB58 at this price range.
Worth every penny! 👊
For the design , it’s definitely worth the hype
Most beautiful watch in 2020

Too bright? that's a first. I think it's very subdued.
