I also like the sound, the tone has a little darkness and imperfection which makes it good for jazz. I also like the keyboard action of the M 37C, and in my opinion it is easier to play than the Hammond 44 model, which requires more professional breathing or blowing technique. I also purchased the Hammond 44H and an Andes 25, which I will be using to record music soon. Thank you for your comments and inspiration from your videos!

Thank you for your feedback！ No, I do not teach melodica, I learnt it myself too, like most people I think. The keyboard is the same as the piano. Since I play the piano, I just had to get used to the holding position and blowing on the instrument. If you are familiar with the piano keyboard, you can easily play the instrument.😃
can you advise why you prefer this over the suzuki mp-181 extension? I'm considering buying either the one you're using and the one I just mentioned, thank you in advance!!!
Hi Nick I don't have any experience with the M181 mouthpiece, I haven't tried it yet, although I was also considering buying it, I'm sure it's very good to use. I got the S-shape extension (M151) mainly because I liked the look and it came in the package with the instrument.

another question, do you know of there's any difference between the trombone and trumpet mouthpiece? I actually wanted mp181 becauase of it is accustomed for the mouth pieces. But if the mouth pieces do not provide any sound characteristic , i would just get the mp 151 instead!! i agree that it looks more pretty!!

I have not used the trombone mouthpiece yet, but it will certainly produce a more airy sound, it would go very well with soft, gentle music if a warm sound is preferred. I personally prefer the S-shaped mouthpiece because the instrument rotates to a certain angle, which allows me to look at the keyboard (not completely though) so I can play faster phrases. When I use the regular mouthpiece, I can not see the keys, which limits my playing. (I am not a professional melodica player, so I prefer to see little bit the keyboard when I play, so I can avoid to play mistakes). I was lucky with my local dealer because he offered me a package with the S mouthpiece, but some dealers or sellers only sell the regular mouthpiece, and in that case you have to buy the new mouthpiece separately. It is best to check with your local dealer.

Hello Giovanni, I use the MP 151 so-called "S-shaped" mouthpiece that you can buy separately from the same manufacturer (Suzuki).
