    Man, a couple times Dr. K was about to make his point and take this conversation deeper and Mel cuts him off, goes on & on and the point was lost. He never finished it cause Mel steered it away only to cut him off again. Let the guy talk Mel! He was about to get to the meat and you kept it at the appetizer.

    Dr. K is amazing! I deactivated all of my social media a few months ago and it has made a world of difference in my sleep, mental health, productivity, etc.

    Two of my favorite people! I also enjoy Dr. Andrew Huberman's insights. I choose to own a dumb phone (flip phone no internet) and have a laptop for the mornings only to do what needs to be done. I've never had a Smart phone because I worry with my O.C.D....I will get addicted to being distracted and I don't want that. I'm 49 and still alive without a Smart phone...it can be done!

    "The only reason we have been losing this war, is because we haven't been fighting it..." Chilling words from Doctor K. Much of this is because many people don't even see it as an enemy to fight against. Some people willingly even submit themselves to it and it pretty much 'becomes' their identity, their everything. The Borg in Star Trek is a fitting analog.

    I just want to say, I have been procrastinating my studies, today is the first day I woke up and the first thing I did was open my studies instead of social media.(heard the podcast yesterday) I been able to study more that ever!!

    The amazing thing about this is that it is a global, modern issue that spans across every demographic and is hurting us. It makes complete sense that we feel numb, and disconnected, and feeling a sense of lack, being exacerbated by a false sense of reality - caused by the virtual world which has become our home and has an internal realism to it that blinds us from nature and what life is really for and about.....It's time we took back control and started to build our sense of self again, and community, going back to the simple things of life, we're fucking tired of the internet, tired of being pulled left, right and centre, tired of too much information, tired of feeling helpless, when we just need to take back control and be human again!
