Either they frankensteined the VT4 given its different origins but the A1 variant is definitely not the "downgraded" variant yk, its in fact the latest VT4 variant. Multinational public sources in the forums explain a lot.
I don’t know much about the specifications of newer Chinese tanks but considering Gaijin’s interpretation of open source references and execution of vehicles you are probably on point.

But compared to the 2A7V and Strv 122+ these tanks just don't feel like they stack up, and in fact most feel like they could've been added a few updates prior.) 7 - F-15A (Not a bad plane by any means, but also doesn't really feel outstanding either given it's the update poster boy. I see no reason to use the US version over the F-16C) 8 - The entire French Navy (This was added when nations were rocking ships like Scharnhorst, Kronshstadt, Hood, Alaska, etc. You couldn't give the French a single competing vehicle? In an update dedicated to the french navy, the french navy was the worst addition of that update.)

I think the Swiss argument will be interesting - In the air, a Swiss tree would be far more useful for the German tree. However, on the ground, the Swiss would fill in a number of capability gaps to the French with their APHE and stabilizers. Additionally, the Swiss have historically used more French aircraft and tanks, and made more design collaborations with French weapon systems and turrets.
My reasoning for a Swiss F-18C is that Swiss vehicles are already in the German tree. The Hunter F.58 from the Swiss Air Force is in the German tree right now as a squadron vehicle. Also the F-18C was operated by the USN.

I think the most disappointing vehicle I played this year was the Mirage 2000 5F mainly due to the incorrect missiles and missile count, when it was added I could understand the Magic 2s and R530s, but it could have at least been given the 6 missiles, and when the SMT and F16C, or even F15 and Su27, it could have gotten MICA IR in some nerfed capacity. I’m not a fan of the Magic 2 but that could just be a skill issue. In terms of the Sep V2, this was a tank I did not want to see added because it adds nothing, and the Sep V3 we know almost nothing about armor wise. And the PSO, what did you guys expect lmao, Germany already had the best tanks for years with the 2A5, and when the 2A6 was added Germany was even more dominant, the 2A6 was still relevant until the 2A7 was added, people just overhype vehicles and get disappointed, you see this with the T90A for Russia, and even somewhat the T90M, except we all knew it was going to be survivable but with no ability to escape.
Great points on the SEP V2 and PSO. I liked the 5F for it’s ground pounding capabilities. It would have been great to get a Mica but considering how advanced that missile is it would have been so severely gimped by Gaijin that it would have been a disgrace.
I feel like the f15 launch was quite a bad one, playing the country that made the f15 (usa) is annoying, the missles are not as good as the japanese or Israeli f15s, if they gave the f15 the aamrams but just kinda made the aamrams worse-ish it woukd be nice or they shoukd have just added it before the f16

Disagree. Depends on play style mostly. Aim9m has often more reliability IRCCM at range and especially at top and side aspect. R73 has better IRCCM in head-on and rear aspect, closer the better. I go for top down shots a lot in my gripen with aim9m, and go for mostly rear aspects with R73s

I think it’s reasonable to be disappointed that one of the most anticipated jets for the whole British tech tree was DOA and just a sidegrade to the FGR2. Honestly, if FGR 2 is given the aim9m (it is capable of it) it will be an UPGRADE over the aircraft that replaced it IRL. Kinda wild to think about, but I guess it shows how bad the tornado fits in WT. It’s the Lighting F6 situation all over again.

I personally liked the SMT just for the Zhuk radar, but the F-16c was more enjoyable for me.
