My husband died of covid. I friends die of covid. So it truly angers me that Kody acts like he was about to die from Covid.

Im sorry for ur loss. It angered me too cause I know ppl lost a lot of loved ones and he didn't even have a temp. It's absolutely disgusting.

Guess Kody now understands how Isabelle felt when he wouldn’t go with her to New York for her major back surgery. When you’re sick and feeling vulnerable, that’s when you hope your family will be there for you. Again, Kody just keeps on reaping what he sowed

And Kody trying to say he doesn’t want Janelle?? Balcony! Then why did he ask for a hug in the restaurant and tell her he wanted to take her in his arms and kiss her on the lips. I think he really love Janelle and only says that now because she brushed him off. I also think he stopped loving Meri when she couldn’t give him lots of kids. Like somehow that was her fault. But there are men like that, a women is no good unless she can have kids.
Kody talks so much about betrayal… but he is the one betraying. He’s the one can’t uphold his marital vows. These women didn’t give up spontaneously. They felt entirely betrayed.
You're right, Anne. He projects all the time, doesn't he? He claims others are gaslighting, when he is. He claims other wives are trying hard enough in the marriage when he's the one. He claims others are triangulating when it's him! Whatever he accuses the women of, you can bet, he's doing it himself!
Kody is a total child about Christmas. I remember him talking about how he wanted to have a good Christmas with zero mention about anyone else. As a parent, it stopped being as important to me that Christmas was fun, as long as my child enjoyed it. That's what parents do! Kody is the most self centered person I have ever witnessed. That's why the tree triggered him. He couldn't even fathom people having a good time without him. Also, ignoring Savannah was unforgivable.
The Savannah thing is unacceptable! And he had no excuse...he just stuttered when challenged. I think he didn't even realize it had been 6 weeks without contacting her. So self-absorbed. And you are right! As soon as my kids were born, Christmas completely changed to be totally kid-focused. Still is, and they are in their 20's. AND Kody never let the family celebrate Christmas until Robyn came into the family! So this reaction is just total childlike behavior of being left out of the fun!

As a parent/adult, you just want your family together to celebrate Christmas (or fill in the holiday). That is what is most important! I think Kody realized life was going on without him and it stung, but instead of reacting like an adult, he resorted to his usual childish temper tantrum behavior.

When he talks about his body, it then kind of makes sense about him asking for the kiss in the restaurant. I think he thinks he can lure Janelle back sexually in order to further use her money. So, like everything else he turns it on her to make it seem like she’s only after his body.
So kody did know about the rental for Christmas. It was the episode that Janelle took the blue prints. Janelle told him then that Christine was coming. He had A massive fit then. Meri and Robin were there as well. They got in a fight then about the apology from the boys. Janelle told him he was welcome to come. That’s when he got pissed. He said NO they needed to come to his house. Janelle even told him I thought you would want to sere Truly and Ysabel. So Robin is lying that she would have gone. The next episode when Meri, Robin and Kody were discussing Christmas, see how Robin discouraged Meri from here having Christmas.
You are absolutely right, Gloria! We SAW the invite. And Robyn claiming she was safe enough to go to Janelle's house is BS because it wasn't safe enough for the family to go to the "neutral" site of Meri's house!

Both my husband and I had covid, mentally it was scary for me. Kody didn’t almost die even though he thinks it, he would have been hospitalized. Insulting to people I knew died. He is so upset about Janelle boys bringing it. Guess who brought it home?? why has no one said anything to him about it. Robin’s daughter.
Yes, Breanna is the souce to Robyn's family. And we never heard about it in any episode or "tell-nothing" episode. And I doubt it will be brought up now, because it's not in this season.

Kody wanted Janelle to shun and kick out her kids for disobeying his Covid rules. Once Christine left, he wanted Janelle to shun Christine and her children. Kody’s definition of loyalty is ‘all or nothing’. He doesn’t listen, negotiate or compromise. That Christmas tree was a giant ‘slap in the face’. It showed Kody, ‘HE DIDN’T OWN THEM’.

I just found your channel and I am loving your perspective!!! I am a senior and also get irritated by his grammatical mistakes! It’s bad enough that he’s so self involved that he can’t see what he’s doing to all his relationships. But he also constantly tries to sound much smarter than he actually is. Talk about insecurities!

Kody is such a dead beat father! His relationship with his children is seperate to his relationship with his wife & if he is not enough of a man to separate these relationships his children should come first before his wife. I hurt for these kids i really do.

If you listen closely to Janelle, she doesn't say Kody told her not to come. I think she's stating what Christine said to her, just not putting a name to it. I believe Christine's version.
I was thinking that it was a mix of both Kody and Christine's stories to end up with the truth in what Janelle said. I think that Kody asked Janelle to come home, Christine pushed back and mentioned that Janelle wouldn't even be able to see Kody, and then Janelle asked Kody about it, leading to Kody admitting that all she would be able to do is drop the stuff off at the door. At this point, Kody reluctantly agreed that it made no sense for her to come home. Of course, Kody would then conveniently "forget" the last part. (This is the way it all worked out *_in my head_* so Janelle wouldn't be guilty of lying! 😉😂🤣😂)

I do enjoy listening to you. There are a couple of sites recapping as if they are high school kids having a slumber party. I can hardly get through them but every once in a while they throw in a few facts or points I hadn’t heard before. They just keep me hanging on.😫 Also, girl if you’re a senior, I should have already been 6’ under.

And all the ones that went to no camera and just voiceover I also unsubscribed to because I enjoy seeing faces. Just me. I even "watch" the video feed of my favorite sports talk show as they are broadcasting in the studio. l'm weird that way, I guess. 😅

After I record the video, I go back and edit out dead space and misspeaking etc. Then when I go to watch it all the way through, any reactions in my head to what I hear me say is what I try to find a clip on. Remember previous seasons where Kody would threaten to cancel Christmas? There are so many examples of wives saying he is a Grinch. However, didn't the wives do all of the shopping, gift wrapping, decorating, scheduling, organizing and cooking? Meri put up the xmas lights (in Utah) and made pyjamas, Christine organized St. Lucia's day and likely cooked a lot, etc. Why is Kody so stressed?
Good question. And yes, he essentially canceled Christmas. Until Robyn came in the family. Then they had Christmas again. As long as the wives did everything!

On his whole covid mess i was highly offended. Someof us lost loved ones and all he had was a 99.8 fever and was having a temper tantrum causing anxiety attacks.
Also his wives suffered natural child birth. Way worse than his "covid". How they keep feom kicking him is a miracle.
And i like janelle but the fact she was even contemplating going back to be his gopher during his so called sickness makes me think shes not as bright as i thought.

Yes, do you remember in the first or second seasons when the older kids were all complaining about Breanna? Because she cried to her mom about everything. The kids were so over it. They roughhoused and teased each other. Not out of anger. Just being siblings. But Robyn's kids didn't get it.
