Tony creeps me out... who does he think he is ? Christine is not his pal. She opened the door about her very private thoughts about dating again but she can close it as well.
yes. I can't get a read on him at all. Besides a creepy vibe. But maybe it's just his eyes paired with his inappropriate comments together that gives me the strange vibe.
Tony should never presume to be that personal with your mother-in-law. Tony is prying into areas that are none of his business. Maybe get a job, Tony, and then you might have something of interest to add to the conversation instead of delving into your mother-in-law's private affairs. Those are things she might not even want to discuss with her own daughters much less you.
I think he has the emotional maturity of a 7th grader and thus finds sexual conversations and humor funny. @@user-pg3ls7so3k

Because I was raised by a Kody, this is how I make sense of it. Healthy parents put their kids needs ahead of their own. They care. Period. Other parents, like Kody, put themselves ahead of their kids. He is like every person who left a spouse, found a new person, and wanted to leave their old life behind and didn’t care. The way that they don’t have a cognitive dissonance with it is to tell them selves that if their kids were just better people and didn’t cause him so much trouble. Everything would be OK.

That is so sad. Many kids already think that if they had been better children, dad wouldn't have left. Divorce is not the kids fault but that doesn't stop them from shouldering the blame.
It took me many years to figure out that my dad being gone a lot wasn’t my fault (he was in the military)

Robyns kids always looks like they are being held captive. Those are truly messed up kids.
If Robyn is truly so concerned about strife in the family, why didn't she encourage Aurora & Breanna to take part in the gender reveal zoom call? Of course she would blame Kody and his lack of communication for the oversight. (I believe Mykelti would have welcomed their presence). Robyn probably told her kids they weren't invited. I better stop here -- I can feel myself on the edge of a rant.

That is exactly what I think. Nervous and he knows that a lot of them know he’s not really a great dad, husband or person…he can’t risk the ego bruising.

Maybe I'm not reading the room correctly but I don't think kody feels guilt of any sort. He is so sanctimonious and short sighted, he can't see anything beyond his own little kody bubble. He exists in his own little world.

One was an interior designer. They were funny. Can't remember the name, but loved all the locations and Oklahoma looked beautiful.

I really hope those girls have friends outside the family as well as a relationship with their siblings. I am so afraid that they are secluded from the world and hear only what robyn feeds them.

One really wonders about the stuff that doesn’t get filmed. I get the vibe Kody is hostile and threatening especially if anyone asks about their share $$ . He is so greedy and selfish.

Exactly how much control does Kody have in what makes it to broadcast? When kody signed the tlc contract, he forfeited the right to censor the contents of the show. It comes with the paycheck.

That's so like me with my kids! 😂 It's the parent's job to keep the relationship going and to initiate a resolution if something happens!! I have so many times! It's soo important for me to keep close contact with my kids! And most definitely am not worried or nervous around my children! Gabe's face during the Zoom was soo sad! He really needs counseling. I hate seeing that!

Well, the thing about the kids is he’s angry at them because they decided not to be on the show. He’s angry at Logan. He’s angry at Madison because they didn’t move to Flagstaff and he still not over it

This show angers me! Cody is an AWFUL human, Robyn was the cancer in the family & he fed right into it and pushed everyone away. My heart hurts for all of the other kids he has abandoned!!! Robyn wouldnt allow those kids on the call 100% keep them away from the family and then play victim!!!!

I found it interesting that robyn thought smiling ( which she did a little bit) but mainly frowned thought smiling would make ppl think she wasnt the problem and the cause if alot if the issues. She thought smiling would make the kids think she wasnt the bad guy. Showing some manipulation for sure.
In Robyn's world, it's always about HER too. She also doesn't say how excited she is to see the kids and what they are up to etc. She says she wants to not be perceived as the bad guy after this. Ugh.

Hey y'all from Tennessee. Sad thing when parents lose touch with adult children...I have tried my best to stay close to my 2 daughters. It is work you cant give up on. Cody is too self centered to be a good communicator. He is all about me, me, me.

When I remarried, I told my kids and my new husband that they didn't have to love each other, they didn't even have to like each other. Although it certainly would be nice.! What they did have to do is respect each other's position in my life.
My kids were older teenagers when I remarried. They knew my husband for two years. They knew he wasn't going to try to be their dad.
By not trying to force a relationship between them, they had no pressure to develop one. They were all able to develop a relationship freely and naturally in its own time and as deep as they wanted and needed it to be. After nearly 30 years they all have a very strong deep relationship.
It's sad to watch Kody and Robin screw things up so bad when it could have been so simple. Those two just can't get out of their own way!
Aurora is sooo miss informed, I's so sad . Gabe said he sees Aurora at school and that they do talk, but Robyn has her ear and tell her they don't like us, and Aurora and Breeana think they are included in the " they don't like us". Which is not the case.
I know!! I want to get in there and reprogram those poor kids who think all their siblings don't like them and don't want to be around them. I wonder how many years it will take away from Robyn for them to realize what she did to them in terms of brainwashing.

I believe Kody is regretting it already but his ego prevents him from showing it publicly. Him and sobbin Robyn went from a 4 salary household to only 1.That’s a significant lifestyle change.

Kody doesn't like kids at all!, All the wives made up a story of the father they wanted for their children, Kody was NEVER that father, when the going got tough he holed up with a wife that had a nanny and her husband to work for them, Kody has absolutely nothing to do with kids that's why they never film in Robyns house- Kody is NOT a father in that house and do not want us to see it! Kody wanted bedroom wives but definitely not children.

I totally (with much respect) disagree about Aurora, and so does most of the internet. I think Aurora was told what to say. Those were absolutely not her words. She doesn't speak like that. I truly believe, and I'd bet my last dollar, that she was coached on what to say. Also, Brianna was completely acting. Those were not real tears! She said she's sad about Savannah? She BULLIED Savannah at school!!! She would give her dirty looks, mock her, point at her and laugh with her other mean girl friends. Do not believe what you see when it comes from anyone in the Kody and Robin gang.

I love your channel. I didn't realize anyone else watched this show the same way I do. It has been one of my primary reality TV rabbit holes since the premier. I am an almost-senior from Washington State. I moved to Maine five years ago and then to Knoxville in 2020. So nothing too exotic. I think Kody has a serious case of arrested development. He's like the step AFTER Peter Pan. He's stuck in a teenage situation and he's the high school quarterback in his own mind. I think we know everything we need to know about Mykelti as soon as we hear her name.
Kody has been rejected by some major players in the family recently. I am sure he was feeling super vulnerable, waiting to get blasted by his young adult children that could have easily chosen this moment to say their peace. I am proud that they respected the reason they were there and kept the focus on Mykelti's reveal!! Oh, my mistake!! Aurora made it about defending Robyn. I just love your content! OH my goodness so glad another person is into grammar! You mentioned ending the sentence in a preposition. None of these ppl can speak English in my view LOL. We have them always ending things with AT like "Where's it AT," which drives me nutso. Also they can never get it right when it comes to using "I" or "Me." Anyhow, just an observation. This "AT THING" really bothers me and EVERYONE does it, even news presenters. Excellent points so far. I'm halfway through. xo
I also heard Robyn say "I's" a couple episodes ago. " It's Kody and I's....." No Robyn, I's is not a word!

Jenny, I am up with a broken foot and I was laughing so hard on a rewatch when you said Christine was talking to Kody and he said are we going to talk business and she said no we are going to talk about our family and that says it all Ya'll what BS, please TLC pull their contracts and end the show and do the spin off where Kody gets no compensation and Robyn will have to get a job
I'm sorry Aurora and Brianna look to Fragile to be on reality TV, everyone should be worried about them- especially TLC, they are not going to fair well in the public life., The other 13 kids are 1000 times more well adjusted and can handle it.

Kody could have been the hero. The min that zoom popped on he could have and SHOULD have said " its so great to see you Gabe! Hi Maddie! Hi Paedon!! Where's Garrison? Oh he coildnt make it...ill call him tonight. " in one swoop he could have made it right.
He could have said " i know this is Mykeltis show but i want you to know. ..I want to move forward. All that matters is that I love you ALL and want you in my life. I'll call each of you later and set up a time for us all to get together ...i missed you so much.
Had he done that thweir family would look very different right now.

TBH, I lost interest in the show when the OG3s older kids stopped filming. I've watched this show from day one. I am not surprised at the implosion of the family or the reason why. It was glaringly obvious from the first episode.
You are right @donrendav. I've gone back and watched the first three seasons recently and geez...the writing is on the wall for Christine to leave in season 1! I'm hoping being away from Kody, the kids will come back.

I am also confused about that. Robyn was so put out about not being included at Christine's birthday party, I would have thought she'd be thrilled that her kids were included.
Wasn't she the one the blew up the Christmas text because the kids wouldn't zoom and the younger kids didn't recognize family. Say one thing does another

Yup....wants the family together, doesn't allow them over last Christmas or Thanksgiving, prevented her kids from participating in the kids gift exchange and NOW is not letting them on Mykelti's baby reveal (who they all get along with) just because other siblings are on there too. Robyn kids give me the impression they are trying to act upset on camera for these interviews about the family and it comes across as something else robyn kids are more then likely spoiled and was raised in a different environment then their siblings they had their dad plus was giving more then others so i don't believe they are trapped anywhere could be wrong but i suspect robyn and cody don't really care if they come and go as much as people believe robyn daughter is talking to a boy so obviously they have a active social life besides their parents i think the only reason they try to give this impression they don't is because robyn and kody doesn't want to look bad about not being around his kids over the big c

I think these women for one thing the way they were raised is how they put up with Cody and I think they were so busy with their kids in their lives and hear their jealousy and just everything they never really had time to realize what a piece of crap they had in a husband!!!!

It is my understanding that the husband in this situation is supposed to be a leader. If there is another moment 26:27 that shows Kody is definitely Not a leader, then show it to me. Kody is the popular guy in high school who really enjoys the drama when a lot of girls like him. Except he is supposed to be a serious spiritual leader. And he has wives who are really living this life. I am working on a chart that shows who actually believes and lives polygamy and who just wants middle school drama.
