Few meters to the front take right at Parthasarathy street, first left in Parthasarathy st is akbar sahib street(narrow lane).. Mess will be on your right in that street. Since its a narrow street, food smell will take you there easily only you enter the street.. Enjoy eating after the pandemic. 🙏

When I was in Chennai in 1989 I had visited many times in the weekends this mess and tasted the food. Very nice food. Triplicane at that time was a bachelor's paradise. I feel happy that the Proprietor Mri Vasudevan is still running this mess with the same dedication. I had accidentally seen this in TH-cam.
I wanted to share my experience. Congratulations Sir, Keep your good work.
நான் பிறந்தது கோஷா ஆஸ்பத்திரியில். வளர்ந்தது கிருஷ்ணப்ப முதலி தெருவில். இந்த மெஸ் இருக்கும் அக்பர் சாஹிபு தெருவிலிருந்து நேராகப் போனால் வரும். எனது பள்ளிப் பருவத்தை திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் தான் கழித்தேன். எண்பதுகளில் பலமுறை இந்த மெஸ்ஸில் சாப்பிட்டு இருக்கிறேன். இந்த தெரு வழியாகத்தான் பள்ளிக்கு செல்வேன். மதிய உணவு வேளைகளில் கூட்டத்தை கண்டு ஆச்சரிய பட்டதுண்டு. இப்போது அமெரிக்காவில் உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு இந்த மாதிரி சாப்பாட்டிற்கு நாக்கு ஏங்குகிறது. இந்த முதலாளியின் தொழில் பக்தி பிரம்மிக்க வைக்கிறது. இம் மாமனிதரின் தொண்டு இன்னும் நூறு ஆண்டு தொடர வேண்டும் என்பது என் ஆசை. இந்தப் பதிவு என் இளம் வயதுக்கு சுற்றுலா கூட்டிச் சென்றது. மிக்க நன்றி!!
அமேரிக்காவிலிருந்து விடுமுறைக்கு வரும்பொழுது காசி விநாயகா சென்று வாருங்கள்.
நான் சென்னையில் 1996 - 98 ல் வேலையில் இருந்த போது காசி விநாயகா மெஸ்சில் தான் சாப்பிட்டு வந்தேன். அப்போது ஒரு மாற்று திறனாளி ஒருவர் கல்லாவில் அமர்ந்திருப்பார். நல்ல பண்புடன் நடந்து கொள்வார்கள் சாப்பிட வருபவர்களிடம் . எல்லோரையும் சமமாக கவனிப்பார்கள். டோக்கன் சிஸ்டம் மிக அருமையான முறை. சாப்பிட்டு வயிற்றுக்கு எந்த ஒரு பிரச்சனையும் வந்ததில்லை.
50 களில் ஸைடோஜி லேன் அய்யர் மெஸ் மிகவும் ப்ரசித்தம். இப்பொழுது இதைப்பற்றி சித்திரத்தை பார்த்ததிலிருந்து இங்கே சாப்பிட தங்களை சந்திக்க ஆவலாக உள்ளது. நவம்பரில் இந்தியா திரும்பியவுடன் மனைவியுடன் வருகிறேன். வாழ்க வளமுடன்.
கோவில்பட்டி, ஆ.முனியப்பன் - சென்னையில், திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் 48 ஆண்டு காலமாக அன்னமிடும் அறப்பணி சிறக்க என் வாழ்த்துக்கள். காலை மற்றும் இரவு டிபனை எந்த கடையிலும் உண்டு கழிக்கலாம். ஆனால், மதிய சைவ உணவு (சுண்ணாம்பு சேர்க்காமல், வெந்தும் வேகாத அரிசி) சரியாக அமைவது என்பது கொடுப்பினையாகும்.40 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு தர்ம சிந்தனையு டன் நடத்தப்பட்ட ஹோட்டல் நிர்வாகங்கள் இப்பொழுது பணம் சம்பாதிக்க பல முறைகேடுகளைச் செய்து வாடிக்கையாளர் வயிற்றனை வியாதி ஸ்தலமாக மாற்றி வருகின்றனர். குறிப்பாக ஸ்டார் ஹோட்டல்கள் பகட்டாக செழிக்கின்றன. அதில் நுகர்வோர் மதி மயங்காது இம்மாதிரியான ஹோட்டல்களுக்கு வாய்ப்பளித்து உயிரூட்டினால் அன்னாருக்கு நாம் செய்யும் கைமாறாகும்.
This mess was a lifesaver for me during my Chennai days. Used to have both my lunch and dinner here. The food and hospitality in this mess cannot be explained in words, will visit again when I get a chance 🙏

2009 ல் இருந்து காசி விநாயக மெஸ் ல சாப்பிட்ருக்கேன்.அன்று முதல் இன்று வரை உணவின் சுவை தரம் அதில் மாற்றமே இல்லை.வயிற்றுக்கு கெடுதல் இல்லாத சத்தான உணவு.அன்று 23 ரூபாய் இன்று 75 ரூபாய்.தரமான சத்தான உணவுக்கு எவ்வளவு ரூபாய் வேண்டுமானாலும் தரலாம்.வாழ்க பல்லாண்டு.👏😊👍

நான் கடந்த 1976ஆண்டுமுதல்1983வரை திருமணம்ஆகிறவரைதொடர்ந்து காசிவினாயாக உணவகத்தில் மதியம்,இரவு என இருவேளையும்சாப்பிட்டுள்ளேன்எந்தவயிற்றுபிரச்சினையும்இல்லை.நேர்மையான அதேநேரத்தில் எனது நெருங்கிய நண்பர் பிறகு குடும்ப நண்பரானர் எனக்கு பிறகு எனது மகனும் 2007,2008ல்சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டுநல்லமெஸ்என மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தான் அவன் அமெரிக்காவில் இருந்து இந்த தகவல் எனக்கு வந்த உடன் இதனைபகிர்ந்தேன் மேலும் நான் எப்போது பண்ருட்டியில் இருந்து சென்னைக்கு சென்றாலும் ஓட்டலில் சாப்பிடும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டால்அங்குசென்றுதான்சாப்பிடுவேன்.1976ல்ரூ01.25காசு(நான்மாதடோக்கன் ரூ01.20காசு) இப்போது ரூ2019ல்ரூ75க்குசாப்பிட்டேன். என்இனியகுடும்பநண்பர் நீண்டகாலவாழ வாழ்த்துக்கள் இதற்கு இறைவனை வேண்டுகிறேன் அருள்புரியட்டும் நான் 1976ல்மெஸ்ஸிற்குசாப்பிடசென்றபிறகுதான்நண்பராகி, பிறகு குடும்ப நண்பரானர் என்பதுமிகமுக்கியம்

வெளியூர் சின்சியரான தொழிலாளர்கள் - திருவல்லிக்கேணி யில் மான்சனில் மூன்று வருடம் தங்கி இருந்தேன். வங்கி மேலாளர் உத்யோகம் . வயது 55. எந்த வித வயிற்று உபத்திரமும் ஏ ற்படாது. தற்போது ரிடையராகி புதுச்சேரி வந்து விட்டேன். வயது 66. எப்பொழுதெல்லாம் சென்னை வருகின்றேனோ அப்போது எல்லாம் ஆட்டோ சத்தம் ரூ 150 கொடுத்து இங்கு வந்து சாப்பிடுகிறேன். அதே சுவை. வீட்டில் சாப்பிடுவதை விட இங்கு அதிகம் சாப்பிடுவேன். கட்டிங் என்று சொன்னால் சாதத்தில் சிறிதளவு குறைப்பார்கள். சாதம் வேஸ்ட் ஆகக்கூடாது என்ற நல்ல என்னத்தில் . இத்தனைக்கும் எனக்கு சுகர் . வாழ்க வளமுடன். சிறக்கட்டும் அவர்கள் தொண்டு .

Hi..I'm from Calcutta..though I'm a Bengali but I love to eat south indian foods..I dont understand the language but I really love to see the food which is displaying in the video. I will reach in madurai 15th jan 2020. Hopefully I will able to taste this dish if its available there..thank you..I love Tamilnadu.
Kasi vinayaga mess serving food since 48 years. They are not compromise with quality. The owner says" he doesn't wants to open many branches but he should serve food with standard quality .they are using token system in 2 types one is yellow token another is black token when yellow having food they cleaning and arranging for black token .. highlight in this mess is that " the owner and their staff are having the food meal " before serving to customer because then only they can find out the plus and minus of that meal.

Good initiative, small request or advice ( form my experience)
1. please don't compromise on quality @ any cause.
2. Don't treat customers in roughly try to make them happy, if he came to buy for ₹10 also traet him in happy manner.
3. Don't follow others make your unique signature dish even a good buttermilk also change your sale.
4. Try to invest less for ambiance because most of the hotel doing the same, the place to be neat and clean is enough.
5. Make 100 happy customers thay will bring you new business.

78/79 களில் எனது உணவகம் இது தான் .காலையில் சிற்றுண்டி கிடையாது . மதியம் மற்றும் இரவு உணவு சாப்பாடு மட்டுமே . உரிமையாளர் மறந்து விட்டார் போலிருக்கு .அப்பொழுது சாப்பாட்டின் விலை 1.50 மாதாந்திர டோக்கன் என்றால் 1.40 மட்டுமே .இரண்டு வரிசை இருக்கைகள் இருக்கும் . கிட்டத்தட்ட மொத்தம் 20 இருக்கைகள் என்று எண்ணுகின்றேன் . ஒருத்தர் சாப்பிட்டு கொண்டு இருக்கும் போதே இலையின் வலது புறம் ஒரு கலரிலும் வலது புறம் ஒரு கலரிலும் டோக்கன்கள் வைத்து டேபிள் ரிசர்வ் செய்யப்படும் . தற்போது எப்படியோ அப்போது ஒவ்வொரு தனி டேபிளுக்கும் வரிசை எண் தந்திருப்பர் . 9 ஆம் எண் டேபிள் மட்டும் கிடையாது .அதற்கு பதிலாக 8 A என்ற எண் மட்டுமே இருக்கும் . காரணம், ஒரு முறை ஊழியர் 9 ஆம் எண் டேபிளை பதிவு செய்தவர் வெளியே இருக்கும் போது டேபிள் எண்ணை குறிப்பிட்டு கூப்பிட்டதால் ஏற்பட்ட தகராறு தான் .அது ஒரு கனா காலம் தான் .
