GOW 2018 had a mode where the entire UI is gone, including enemy indicators such as bosses's lifebars, and it seriously was harder at first, than playing Give me God of War difficulty with the UI on was. Not knowing how close or far you are to killing a boss just feels wrong.
The boss: "You will die a most painful death!"
The player: "Can't touch this"
"Enemy Killed"? No.
"Boss Defeated"? No.
"False God Disavowed"??? Metal.

If there were ever a boss I genuinely didn't think you'd be able to best, it was the Nighthunter in this game. So wild and unpredictable. Great stuff.

@@nocanseegreen3845 boss only videos can be deceptive. for example 9 years of shadows got really cool bosses but really poorly done sections between them. You literally ran for 10 minutes in a line with no challenge

That first boss is the opening boss of Salt and Sanctuary. That’s ok. I like Salt and Sanctuary and Bloodborne is one of my favorite games.

i think the people in the comments are deceived by how good this game actually is just by this one video, it really isnt as some of the design choices are horrid (such as the map being misleading, the illusion of class choice making a difference, and sometimes bs boss attacks) and the game generally not standing out as unique as it is very derivative of blasphemous and bloodborne
