After some practice I actually managed to do a no damage run in just a couple minutes, I died without dealing any damage

What I love about Sekiro is that a lot of bosses require YOU to pressure them instead of running away and dodging.

Ive seen a lot of no hit runs but yours is the one that has no gimmicks or exploits. It is just straight attack and deflect. I love how purist it is - feels like how the game should be played. Amazing and well done!

On an average it took me 3 days to defeat every boss.
Day 1: Get some crazy ass whooping from the boss
Day 2: Using 100% percent of my brain to memorize the boss's attack pattern
Day 3: Before reaching the limit of my play time, barely able to defeat it.

Defeated it First try and Genichiro 7 Tries and Blazing bull 15 Tries and Demon Of hatred Is still undefeatable and isshin ashina 4 Tries and Isshin sword saint 6 Tries so My accuracy of getting bosses first try is about 30-70%

The sound design of clashing the swords is genius. You feel the impact of each strike.
And actually, the deflection sound is different from the simple parrying sound, so I often rely on it for gameplay
Combats and mechanics looks a way better when the game is played by someone skilled and not by me
The game in general just look and feels better once you've got some practice. I loved watching myself go from blocking and poking the vitality bar down to trying to maintain the enemy posture bar. It's amazing watching the fight that took 5 minutes the last attempt take 30 seconds on the last shot.
Me, playing this game like Bloodborne: Wat.
Swords actually feel like actual swords which what I really love about this game. Elden Ring is going to be a kickass game.

In most games enemies with rapid flurry attacks are a nightmare; in Sekiro, they're a blessing because they are so damn useful for building up posture damage.

This was great to watch! I made it to the Guardian Ape fight so far and there's still plenty of time but I can tell this is definitely my favorite one. Didn't see the twist coming for how it progressed and it's incredibly imaginative.

It’s rlly not that hard it’s only timing and reflexes, it’s also memorization but it’s not rlly conscious memorization more like, “ah I need to parry when he does this attack but jump when he does this attack” I beat it without much struggle excluding chained ogre
lil vro vro The problem with that is everything happens so lightning fast. I rarely have time to react to incoming attacks. I platinumed all the souls and blood borne game and find this game absolutely brutal in terms of difficulty.

Both Vitality and posture Increase once you get all 40 beads and My Current is 36 and Vitality is 19 I just have to find the last 4

I love Sekiro's humanoid boss fights since it actually feels like sword fighting.
You invest in small openings and 1 tiny opening can decide a fight.

yeah i like them too by now my favourite is genichiro(second encounter) which if you get the hang of it, it can be pretty easy [find him easier than gyobu] beat him with 5 heals left:)
The fights aginst the likes of Isshin the sword Saint, Slaveknight Gael, Ludwig the holy Blade or Radagon of the golden Order made these games truly amazing and unforgettable.

As stunning as it looks and feels, I really hope this was done in one session. The editing makes me wonder if those are the best tries compilation or really just sanitized parts of a no hit "run". Either way, this is so far the only no-hit video I've seen that involves Demon of Hatred. Bravo!

Practice makes perfect, keep trying and, this is important, make sure to take breaks when you feel that you've burnt out playing the game. You'll be surprised at how good you've become when you let yourself rest after a continuous session.

Bell Demon really doesnt do much for bosses, regular enemies become a hassle though since they pack a bigger punch and theres a lot of them throwing them.

Got the game months after this comment and it's not that hard but still very frustrating, so this still holds up although I know more people have successfully completed a no-danage boss run considering that it's been a year since this.

Sekiro has been in my wishlist for a very long time. Looking at the gameplay, I realise I don't have the skills to play it yet. I'll have to keep coming back to this video to keep myself motivated. Amazing stuff.

@RaineTCG he can be the best gamer in the world, there is no way he can react off of reflex for every mechanic of every game.... especially the one's he plays for the first time. He's great tho... Jus still human. He's dedicated to his work and creates top quality content, but believe he works hard to put it out.

-use block every time they strike
-use the high ground

Will say, having Bell Demon on bosses like the Demon of Hatred actually didnt seem to have much difference. To me the damage I took with and without was barely noticeable. Yeah, you take slightly more damage but no matter what, he will 2 shot you if he gets 2 clean hits, bell or not.
@RaineTCG In sempo temple, there is a giant hidden bell. If you ring it, it will equip you will the bell demon, making the game slightly harder, but with greater reward.

Holy crap just beat lady butterfly on my 1st run after watching how you fought against her. I hadn't touched this game in a year, she ended up being the next boss for me but that ended quickly for her haha.
Very nice job man. I did this game with all 4 endings, but no nerly without damage. This video helped me to know more useful tips in a fight.

@@DGneoseeker1 The "bell demon" is a debuff, it's a bell that you can find in the game, and when you ring the bell it basicly sets the game on a harder difficulty
@@DGneoseeker1 increases money and loot chance drop rates for the price of harder enemies. Makes regular enemies more dangerous but bosses are really not that different save for a bit of extra damage.
You can find the demon bell At the Senpou Temple
A lil late to the party but boy, Sekiro boss fight is so satisfying to watch when played by a pro. The steel clashing is so amazing to hear plus the soundtrack is indescribable. I love the posture mechanics that allow you to deal the finishing blow to your opponent when you break their posture, instead of just getting their health to zero.
I’m stressed. I’m legitimately so tense watching this right now. I don’t know how this guy does it. Incredible.
I struggled for DAYS against Demon of Hatred, and this man does it without getting hit.

Although not the hardest boss in the game, Genichiro Ashina is one of my favourite bosses of all time. Especially in an action rpg. Feels like high octane samurai action when you manage the fight! Always how I imagined it when I watched samurais as a young boy...
I like how the demon bell was active for many of the bosses
Doesn't matter considering that just boosts damage and status affliction received, so even if he had it off this gameplay would be no different.

I learned this a little bit late, but hopefully it will help with the mindset in combat: if you can choose between parrying and dodging, parry every single time.

I started playing sekiro a few days ago, and instead of advancing the story I dedicated all of my playing time to master Gyoubu because I wanted to feel like a pro player for a moment. Today I managed to get a no hit run after probably more than 50 tries

I started this game yesterday...lady butterfly is very tough, what i believe is once you understand the mechanics it becomes "little less difficult" .
After the first boss, you come to realize that fighting fair is death on the battlefield.
And this applies to real life, too. Fairness means predictability. That's fatal.
