Thanks man, conversion was so worth it! I had to see what all this k series hype was about ! :) I was always a b series guy, very nice man I love accords !
Believe me, it can be done a hell of a lot cheaper than I did it, I just decided that I would go over the top a little bit and have the car somewhat impressive rather than a bone stock swap that didn’t have much grunt behind it. Any advice you need don’t hesitate to give me a text and I can help in anyway !
Deadly build, lad. Serious power. I'm thinking of doing a K24 swap into my EG4. Is there any garage in Ireland that does this? I'm looking at taking the ferry and getting it done over in England at the minute. Thanks in advance.
Thanks very much man much appreciated! There would be plenty of lads on the island that would take the job on, if you want to DM me on instagram I can give you names of a few that would do the job, being dead honest it isn’t hard to do man if your any way mechanical minded just take your time and it nearly all bolts in! Wiring is easy also I can run you through that too!
I've seen that and the red eg around mondello they are Serious machines man. What do you think of the k20 engine from fn2? I recently bought a cheap fn2 for the track but I'm considering putting the engine into an eg or dc chassis?
Really appreciate the nice words man, always nice to get positive feedback on the cars! They have a k20z3 as far as I can remember, not a bad engine with some bolt ons and tuning to be fair! Will be a savage upgrade from a b series in the eg or dc either way! If you have the $$ go for a k24 and leave it standard then work up from there and do cams intake etc etc when you can! The 2.4 is some pig!
I don’t have the car massively low on the front so the clearance is actually quite good, also a steel sump so I don’t have to worry about shattering it if it does take a hit! If your worried still just buy dual height hasport mounts and mount on higher setting and maybe trim bonnet or use bonnet risers !
You using an oem engine harness or an aftermarket one? Curious as i dont have an engine harness yet. My k24a came with a cut harness from the breakers in japan.
Oem K20 TYPE S is the best “ budget” harness dont be a fool and get these cheap eBay harnesses trust me from experience.. all you have to change is to a k20 crank position sensor to make it work!
@RepublicRacing1 cheers! I heard a few horror stories about the aftermarket ones. Once i get it running I'll give u a run for ur money at mondello lol. (Ek hatch btw)
@@markrobinson5152 I did myself, and at the start I was gonna go for a cheap and cheerful eBay harness to see what they are actually like, but you just can’t beat oem quality with plugs and tidiness of the loom etc. So I just went with the oem one. All you need to pick up is an ep3 loom and away you go, I actually changed the knock sensor to a k20 knock sensor also but the knock sensor doesn’t matter in a kswap. Looking forward to it man I love seeing more Honda builds come out of the woodwork. We’re going to eventually do reviews and features on people’s cars
Very nice car and great conversion . Ive got a J30a4 powered Accord imported from New Zealand . Think its the only one in the country

good stuff man, planning on doing a kswap myself into ek. prices made me get sick a little bit, but thats just how it is

Awesome Honda racer. Well done! Bravo!
Racers for life 🤪
How is your oil sump ground clearance ? i have a k20 but wanting to go k24 but the sump is already low enough

I am using oem ep3 harness, only thing I’ve changed is the crank sensor to a k20 type it’s all plug and play after that!

Credit to you Chris it’s a cracking car 👌
Nice one brother, lot more to come from the car over the next while anyways ☝🏻🇯🇵
280hp? How do you make that much power without cams or nitrous?
it has skunk cams
Skunk2 drop in cams work extremely well with a 2.4!
