- Finally put the rig back together. And early this Saturday morning I could take it for a spin with the new Raceroom update. Enjoy!

This game feels so much better now. And I was already a big R3E fan.
Yea I can totally agree. It feels really nice to drive. I did some more races this morning with different cars and had a blast. Even braking in a straight line is fun now 😅
Totally! I had forgotten how much I love this game. The DTM 2023 cars are a blast to drive.
Any favorite? I've only driven the porsche, Audi and Ferrari so far.
@@captainflatspot Everything! I was especially surprised with the 92 Audi DTM car, the AWD feels really good, once it clicks with you. And the new Porsches feel great, they are really fun to steer and rotate with braking. I had a really good race with teh C6 Z06 GT3 car too. Haribo gold bear livery FTW!

Love this sim. Stuck on AC LFM at the moment. This is next on my list
Ohh yea. Been looking forward to try AC LFM aswell. A Good platform for VR gaming as AC runs so well. But Yea this update for Raceroom is awesome. Sadly there was not many people doing the ranked races 6 in the morning on a Saturday 😅
Great to see you back on a raceroom track, Henrik! : ) Did only drive 3 cars after the update, but I really liked it. Felt even better, somehow more controllable and smooth, I just love raceroom even more now.
Nice sim room! Are you still driving in VR sometimes as well?
Btw, thanks again for helping me setting up VR and, most of all, encouraging me to stick through the weeks of my inital very bad VR sickness, about 3 years ago. VR has transformed simracing so much for me. Cheers : )
Ohh yes, those first VR weeks. I remember mine and I was so Sick aswell. Was soo nice when the brain and body started to accept it. Good feeling 😅 And Yea I race in VR. But right now I need to be more aware of my surroundings when we got the little one. If I'm in VR I'm completely immersed and someone can start demolish the house without me even noticing it 🤣
Looking forward to do more Raceroom and hopefully more online races as it seems like my internet has become better the last year. Was impossible for me to do that when I was forced to use a mobile connection. To high ping and loss of connection every 10 minutes. I had 2 ranked races this morning without any problems. So fingers crossed hehe.
@@captainflatspot Oh, another little upcoming simracer stepped onto the planet? That's great news, congrats! I see, makes sense to not be in VR too much then. : )
Also good to hear about your internet. In case you have time on a friday or sunday evening and want to do some online racing in raceroom, SCB is still there and happy about every friendly simracer who joins occasionally. ; )
Yea she will be fast 😅 7 months already and likes to sit in the rig and press all the buttons on the steering wheels hehe.
That is nice to hear. The few races I have joined has been relaxed and clean. Man.. I dont think I have even opened up discord for like 7 months 🤣
@@captainflatspot 7 months already, time for the first driving lessons. ; ) Yes, time is surely very limited for you atm. However, in case just jump into any SCB race, numbers have dropped a bit, but always enough for a good race and enough to find someone with about your pace. And the spirit is still the same, drive respectful and have fun.
