Very cool rally!! Surprised about the battery life on a go pro, havent got one myself. I have a 49€ camera similar to a Go pro I bought in Lidl and the battery lasts about 5 hours or so.

Looking at getting into sim racing. Got the summer coming up, can easily save up and get this. Last year I built my PC, I think this years summer investment will be this wheelbase and pedals with clutch, the universal wheel mount, and an actual full sized steering wheel since I’ve got very broad shoulders and a small wheel would be very uncomfortable. Is it worth splurging for the 8nm right away, or should I just buy the 5nm and buy the booster eventually?

Rubber on apexes looks too shiny, like oil. And some parts are a bit brighter than they should. But yes this is the best one and will prolly keep that position for a very long time. Good driving too👍

Still top3 round wheel on the market imo. It also may smoothen our ffb but imo it feels less rubbery. Ive found rubber handles make things to rubbery feeling for me sometimes. The Alcantara makes the ffb feel slightly sharper even if softer.

I've found that f1 2023 has some weird ffb. Strong in weight bur details not as much. Turning int off worked wonders to mske the rsw detail come out but god it's so weird. It's like the weight in f1 2023 isn't actually ffb weight just pure weight. I've never felt heavy weight feel so stagnet but hey at least you feel it I guess. I wish the weight feel would back off a bit and details come out even more I get the curbs ans details in the road but I mean details when turning snaps catches wheel slips etc. It feels so much better with no dampening at all. I'm coming to find like famatec states there wheels do well with very little dampening. No more then 20 imo even on the regular dampening I have it off. Massive difference it made. Since I have the dd+ I turn the track effects and rumbles way up doesn't clip as easy when I'm sitting at only 35% on ffb setting.

I need to check the difference cause tbh i find the G29 unusable. Idk if i need to calibrate it with a third party software, idk if mine has an issue but i can't drive at all, can't recover shit, can't feel the road well. When i want "real life" FFB it's just extremely strong to the point it's not real anymore and impossible to turn the wheel with one hand.. where on my car (shitty but reliable 82 hp 2009 fiesta) if i loose the wheels i feel it, i recover a lot of times, i pass harder when i compare on similar curves, even handbrake drifts i always do one coming back home in a 30° bend and recover perfectly where with the shitty g29 on assetto i never recover it.. not sure what I'm missing but that's basically why i stopped sim racing :/
