You can tell two ways, if you drive it you can usually hear and feel it, if you do like I do I jack up each corner and spin the wheel because then you can hear and feel it when you spin it. I don’t know about the back ones on Mazdas but the rears on this Kia also use bearings like the front, although the drums can be tricky to get off.
The owner of the award-winning NAPA parts in Sonora California treated me like s*** while his guys pressed the new bearings for me left that Jim out between two bearings and six sets of Aaron's later I had another shop figure out what the heck was going on that whole ideal cost me where the car was worth
You are right: Unfortunately, there are not many Kia Rio videos out there, especially for that old model. Thank you for sharing how you did the job 🙂
Awesome
Questions, a friend of mine has a broken stud on the front wheel hub, when replacing the hub, does the bearing has to be replaced or not?
Not unless it’s making noise, because the hub has to come out to replace the stud, you should always grease the bearings and replace the hub seal.
Great Video, my moms Mazda Demio is also making a noise, hope its the rear and not this....sh*t...
