    I know you mentioned working on the repair is a reason you don't record, but as a new tech, I am very grateful. I'm working on one of these for the first time on Tuesday for the same error code and I appreciate it.

    I have this washer. We have 2 huskies and cats but the filter at the bottom is almost always clean and never has to be pulled out. Is this normal? We are getting the leaking water code for the top one almost every time we use it. Should we replaxe the hose?

      As the owner of an appliance service company there is no way in Hell I would do warranty work,especially at this level with the high liability of damage to the machine and surrounding area and hours of labor. What a joke. C.o.d is the only way to go and I charge 300 just to diagnose one of these ,let alone do repairs.

    I have experience with this model.. if there is no leak(s)? Then its most likely a “software” problem. Unplug the control unit to reset the error code then plug it back and if the code comes back? Then you have to replace the two sensors at the bottom… i found it easer to jack up the machine, go under it and use a mirror to locate the sensors and swap them out.

    Why would you show us how to elevate or offset a Factory Safety Flood Sensor to protect a home from being Flooded out causing Thousands of Dollars of damage, all you got to do is install a $2 Dollar Disc, which is a factory up date part for the overflow problem in the Fabric Dispenser drain out into the Mini Washer never lift that Flood sensor to by pass a Error code 1L C1 ....

    I have a question. I have the Samsung flex washer and can’t find any info anywhere. You have worked on these so I’m helping you can point in right direction. It’s started to make a jet engine sound, during spin cycle. My wife researched and ordered me a housing bearing to replace. It came and appears to just be a metal plate attaching to bottom of top washer tub?
    Doesn’t seem right at all ?? Any help greatly appreciated

    • @spadesman_the_first3296
      @spadesman_the_first3296 ปีที่แล้ว

      You and I have the same exact problem. You need new bearings HOWEVER samsung does not sell new bearings for the model, according to the internet you have to buy a part that isn't available anywhere. What you sound like is you have the spider arm that sits on the back of the unit.

    What does a repair like this (minus throwing parts) cost if not under warranty?

    • @ApplianceRep
      @ApplianceRep  ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you think is a reasonable price and can you fix it on your own? Out of warranty I charge by serial number. The newer the more it cost to fix. Some people tend to jst buy a new one as it gets older. These washers are not produced anymore the design was bad.

    never raise the water leak sensors how will the home owner know if they have a water leak doing Thousands of dollars of damage to there home??? just fix the leak do your job... insurance company's will do a thorough inspection on that leaking washer on a insurance claim and take pictures that you raise the sensor on film and deny home owners claim, i cannot believe you did such a dumb thing on film and posted it on the internet... WOW... that sensor is there for a reason to protect the floor from a flood... just crazy move...

    • @ApplianceRep
      @ApplianceRep  ปีที่แล้ว

      Samsung techline authorized and has a service bulletin on the raising of sensors. They are clearly aware of the issue with customers overloading detergent and softener. It leaks out the left side of that hose clamp.

    2018 Samsung Flex Washer #WV55M9600AV/A5.
    Dual module (top washer) lid latch is broken and cannot be used since it won't latch. SEARS shows that lid latch is not sold separately and my understanding the whole Washer tub cover lid Part#DC97-20036C needs to be replaced. The problem is that lid#DC97-20036C No longer manufactured.
