  • Part 2 of the “Rustoration” on our cub cadet 102. After we rebuilt the clutch the tractor still wouldn’t move, the creeper wouldn’t shift! So we tore it apart and figured out why! Thanks for watching!

Yea the sapling from hell… I asked the wife if it was something she planted, she said she had no idea what it was and that she cuts it off every year. I figured it would pull right out easy… I even tried my 2072 on it after the 102. It defeated that too. Have to hook the kubota to it I guess…

Wish I had one of these for a yard tractor. Thanks for the videos

They’re out there. Although they’re getting harder to find. Seems like it goes in spurts, there will be a bunch on marketplace, and then there’s none. I was going to clean this one up and sell it, but I think I’m gonna hang onto it awhile it’s a really nice example. Thanks for watching!

working on a similar issue myself, that pin should be a coil spring pin (like all the other pins on tractor), not a simple spring pin. The creeper shift forks are available from CC Specialties, I'm replacing that as well while its apart.

That probably explains why it broke in the first place. It was odd because it worked fine until I changed the oil in it. Then it fell out. If it breaks/falls out again I’ll put the right pin in it. Thanks for the info!
