Yeah, I didn't realize how handy something like this scooter would be! Though, I'm still thinking we need something with some pedal power. This scooter doesn't do great on steeper hills. But for the price, not too shabby!

Those are Mormon crickets! They are bigger than that in some parts of Nevada, and 100’s of thousands in a single swarm.

Yep, crazy right?! The roads were red and slick with their dead bodies everywhere! It really was like a horror movie!

Wow 2 Wasp joined by a giant 3rd....lol Glad you two were able to "hop" over to another site even though I heard Gary 'chirp" about having to level the rig. Ya know if ya step on a cricket an hear them snap you'll break yur momma's back, NO WAIT a minute that was something else NEVER MIND. Seriously folks, have ya decided what brand of e-bike you'll get? We want to get a pair but they have to be: !)Foldable, 2) good battery life, 3) accept motorcycle tires, 4)Not break the bank to get and last 5) Good warranty. Well kids that's enough for now, I have to "bug" out, be safe and have fun!

Haha! There's been a lot of squeakin' and chirpin' about the e-bikes, but no leaping into ownership yet! I think you and I are looking into unicorn bikes right now. Our current ever-changing list of requirements are: 1) front and rear suspension (since we're not getting any younger), 2) mid-drive motor to get us up some of the hills we hope to try 3) minimum 35 mile range but prefer longer so we don't have to charge all the time, 4) a solid brand that has made regular bikes/ mountain bikes so they know what they're doing, 5) good dealer network to get maintenance done wherever we are. We're currently eyeing bikes unfortunately in the $5k+range (so I'm having sticker shock). Currently eyeing Trek Rail, Trek Powerfly FS, Specialized Turbo Levo, Giant Trance E+ 3 Pro. Though the Aventon Ramblas is still in our sights due to price (but it's a hardtail bike so thinking we may not be happy with it). Our plan now is to start heading into bike shops to try out and rent some of these. I honestly don't expect to get them until Sept-Oct but ya never know...🤞🏻🤞🏻Oh my this is a book, ha!
