    Nice video, beautiful scenery !! Glad you watch "Kenney of All Trades", he is one of our Tuesday Night Truck Camper favorite videos, the other is "Work Less Enjoy Life More" with Larry & Mason his pup. Yes Kenny does some great campfire meals but ya can't beat a campfire Hotdog @ 8k feet...lol Man was that tunnel a trip, go left or right a your toast!! We like to stop a small family restaurants, you can really find some great places to eat. Thanks you again for all the great videos and assistance with information when asked. OOOHH wait a minute did I see Lora driving???? Gary it is OK once in a while but you KNOW the rules......lol Be safe out there and have fun!!

      Thanks for watching! Kenny is definitely a staple here, and have watched Larry as well. Must've been an optical illusion- no driving recently. He likes that drivers seat a bit too much for that! 😄

    Great video! We can relate to the bridge height scare. Our favorite three TH-cam channels... "The Joslyn Journey", "Kenny of the All Trades" and "Foresty Forest". We love sharing in all of your journeys!

    Oklahoma Joe’s in Kansas City baby. We lived there for 15 years in Olathe, KS. We live now in my hometown of Louisville, KY. There are over 100 bbq restaurants in Kansas City. You pick what you like and stay loyal to! Oklahoma Joe’s and Big Bubbas was my faves!

    LOL! Yeah I love a hotdog on a campfire, Kenny is a great guy!

      We ONLY have hot dogs when we have a fire. It's the only way. Except for Chicago dogs- I'll make an exception there!

    I prefer the heat of Death Valley 😹 You can still see snow from Furnace Creek 👍🏼Great Video guys, hopefully what looks like a water pump did not cause you too much trouble 😳

      I think I can get used to either temp range but near back-to-back temp swings was a bit rough! But at least our rig easily handled both situations. 😃

    You guys need to hit up Schat’s Bakery if you’re still in the Bishop area. They have a great selection of tasty bread treats!
    Bummer all those places were closed off for boondocking. Times have changed! ✌🏽

      I do desperately wanted to go but Gary nixed it. I've been trying to lose weight and oh, bread is my kryptonite. 😄

    Must visit the Arabian Steamboat Museum downtown and go to Jesse James House near Leavenworth, KS, that is where here was killed.

      That's usually a meal for is- loaded taters! I'm so glad we just installed a small propane stove so we can have these and roasted veggies. Yay!

    Just curious, when y’all were unladen with your 5500, did you air down at all? I have a cross country trip today with a 5500 I just bought and I’m fairly certain my spine is going to fuse into one bone if I don’t do something soon. I read you can safely go down to about 65-70 in the rear without issje

    • @TheJoslynJourney
      @TheJoslynJourney  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'd recommend to verify the pressure with the tire char, but if you're not carrying the camper, it's highly likely. We end up using our air bags heavily when the camper is off instead of airing down.

      @@TheJoslynJourney oh, did you get rid of the wooden springs oops I mean leaf pack and go kelderman air suspension? That or liquid springs will likely be one of my first upgrades if this thing rides really rough even with the northern lite on the back (which I’m guessing it will because it only takes up roughly 1/3 of the payload capacity.

    • @TheJoslynJourney
      @TheJoslynJourney  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We haven't done that yet but are still planning. Both options are pretty expensive. Just got quoted $15600for Kelderman,and I think Liquid Springs a bit more.
