Before 2 months, i did the antibiotic course for eradication of h pylori. Since then I am having bloating, sometimes loose motion and sensitive stomach. But these problems are tolerable. My main problem is written below for which I am seeking treatment. 3 or 4 times bowel movements a day. Feeling the incomplete sensation or a kind of weird sensation in the rectum and anus after even the last bowel movement which last for hours. Sometimes after wind passes get a bit of relief. The sensation is very much focused on the rectum and anus. Sometimes I feel pressure on the rectum from inside. Sometimes while being on that sensation ,after going to the washroom only clear mucus comes out.Even when wind moves inside the rectum I can feel it which means the sensation in the rectum is more than normal. I can only pass stools when i feel its already in the anus other than that i have zero power to push more stools in one time. Please help me mam.
Would love it if you made a video on digestive problems resulting from a choleosystectamy (gallbladder removal) with the added complication of gerd or hiatus hernia problems and ppi. How to get digestive system going good again and resolve lack of bile issues ie can bile salts be taken when on ppi meds. Thanks.
Hi Aileen, thank you for this suggestion...in general, I suggest people who have lost their gall bladder use ox bile supplementation with fatty meals, and support stomach acid gently, like with apple cider vinegar, but you're right, this is a good topic for a video! Thanks for watching :)
Hi, i've really enjoyed your videos since i came across your channel. could you please do a video on how medication or certain medications like anti-anxiety meds affects the digestive system and how it can effect the depletion of production of stomach acid. thank you. in my case i suspect and strongly think it does but not really sure. thanks again
Hi Space Cake, thanks for watching, and thanks for your comment. This is a good idea, though I'll have to add it to my queue. In the meantime, I can say that a lot of medications definitely have additives that can irritate the gut, including fillers, artificial colors, and other substances. Common irritants include ingredients derived from gluten, or glazes, and other additives. In some cases, the medication itself may interact with your body to slow or speed up digestion, increase intestinal permeability (leaky gut), irritate the lining of our stomach or intestines, or negatively affect your good gut bacteria. If you have questions about the formulation of your medication, you can ask your pharmacist or do some reasearch online, and some good preventative support is to use probiotics and other digestive supports. Does that help? Take good care!
Hi Shala, I'm sorry to hear you're worried about your diverticulitis. The good news is, reducing inflammation in your gut is possible with a healthy diet. I might suggest looking into the low FODMAP diet as a place to start. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shala, we chatted a while back about your diverticulitis diagnosis, I hope things have improved for you...I'm designing an online course to help people go from food chaos to a full diet so they can live fully, and I'm looking to interview people with symptoms like yours to learn more about what I need to include. Would you be willing to meet with me for 30-45 minutes? You can schedule a time here: confluencenutritionappointments.as.me/?appointmentType=19502572
After the H pylori eradication antibiotic course I am having bloating, irregular bowel movement and WORST Incomplete rectal sensation. Please kindly help if you can 😭
Hi GH, a lot of people experience side effects from the H. pylori eradication protocol. Probiotics, used properly, may help you recover. Check out this video for more detailed information: th-cam.com/video/DBFCiFbG-3Y/w-d-xo.html THanks for watching, and keep me posted.
Im having a digestive issues after acid reflux, indigestion, Bloated even in small meal, my stomach is heavy.. I'm taking betaine hcl at acv pill b4 meal, 1 tablet each.. Do i need to increase the no.? Sometime it help, sometimes i feel nothing... Do you have any suggestions for me? Have been taking them for a 4 days now...
Thanks for watching :) Check the amount of HCL per capsule or tablet...some are 99 mg, and some are more like 500 mg. I think 500 mg is a good starting place, and you can then increase slowly, watching for a burning sensation. When that occurs, you can back off your dose to the last comfortable dose. If you continue to have the symptoms even with the HCL, it might be time to investigate deeper with testing, dietary changes, other digestive supports, etc to try and uncover your personal root causes. Beyond the HCL, have you explored the Low FODMAP diet? Or low histamine diet? I have videos about each of these you could check out to get more information. If you really want to delve into your symptoms and explore solutions with me, you can schedule a consult to discuss whether we are a good fit to work together.
@@ConfluenceNutrition i have the 600mg betaine hcl.. I already try taking 2 tablets.. Still i don't fell anything.. Im from Philippines... Do you conduct online appointment?
@@AndreiGray61 Hi, conventional wisdom is to keep taking more and more capsules until you feel a burn. But I don't necessarily recommend this. There can be a lot of reasons. THe best way to find out is to consider your whole case in context, and not make any assumptions. Sometimes, if HCL doesn't improve things or makes you feel worse, it can imply certain gut infections. I do do online consults, though the time difference may prove a challenge. You can check out my schedule and make a free, 30-minute get-to-know-me session at confluencenutrition.com/contact
