    I definitely agree with you on Planet Hollywood. We stayed there three times. The last time we stayed, our room was not ready. Guests in our room had extended their stay. Also, the hotel was booked solid. Do you know they took us to an upper floor first. We got off and walked across to a second elevator. The hotel person had a key and opened up the elevator. We got on still not knowing where we were going. He then took us up to the top floor. When he opened the room door, we thought we had died and went to high rollers' heaven. They put us up in a high rollers' suite overnight for the same price of a base room. The amenities in that suite, you would not believe. All the windows in the suite faced the Strip. The view of the Strip at night was fantastic. We plan to come back to Vegas for a fourth time. Guess where we will be staying!

    vdara is amazing! its peaceful, spacious, and you can always pop into the other casinos nearby. the kitchenettes saved my bf & my lives where we can put drinks and food etc.

      I agree about it being peaceful especially coming from the craziness around. It’s nice to have some peace and quiet afterwards. I got spoiled from Vdara. Now I have to stay in hotels with at least a fridge. I loved the microwave as well.

    I just stayed at Vdara and have to say this place is amazing. Thank you for this video and the recomendation. I am a light sleeper so usually had a hard time sleeping on the strip but loved going this was the quietest place I've stayed and is so close to the strip I couldn't believe it thank you again!

    I just found your channel and I love it! Great info. We’re leaving in two days for Vegas. Staying at The Wynn bc we have comps there and at The Venetian. But you gave some great info and advice in this video and the others I’ve watched. Great job and I appreciate you!

    I will be at PH for a group trip for my niece's 21st birthday next week. My choice of hotels was questioned but I will have to send everyone this video! I'm a Caesar's Rewards person so I go where the comps are but having stayed there a few years ago, I loved the location and party vibe. I also appreciated your comments about Harrah's, so perhaps we will try that next trip to Vegas.

    Loved Vdara so much. Been staying at Delano before since all the rooms are suite. Very nice and clean white room. The only drawback is, it is far from the center strip. So i decided to try Vdara and oh boy i was surprised. Got a free upgrade to a city corner suite and will never go back to other small rooms. The room is very spacious, with nice views, with full size fridge, washer and dryer, no casino, and it is just few mins walk to all the strip action. We will be there again in November 😊

    I think Harrah's is on the top of my list if you're not focused on staying in a luxury hotel. Not only is it a great location on the strip, but there is so much in the immediate area. You don't feel like you're walking forever to get out of the property like some hotels (looking at your MGM Grand), and you have cheap food options very close and Walgreens is a very short walk for carrying water back to your hotel. For my next stay, I was thinking of trying Planet Hollywood so I'm glad to see it on your list!

    I stayed in Planet Hollywood in 2016 and 2018. Easily the biggest Sleeper hotel on the strip. I recommend it to everyone I speak to about Vegas. Price is great, Location is incredible. Rooms are big, clean and fresh. CVS, wallgreens a few mins away. Miracle Mile shops, Ramsay Burger. Its fantastic. I just hope the hype doesn't get too big and the prices sky rocket.

I don’t do that kinda shopping. A vacay for me is going somewhere and doing absolutely nothing! But I like having options if I decide I want to do something. So, I went with your Top 1 recommendation: Planet Hollywood. I’ll consider some of your other reviews in the future but this was truly helpful 😊

    My midwestern daughter and a group of her twenty-something college girlfriends had a reunion in Vegas this last Spring. It was her first time there. Knowing that she is a real "foodie", I told her that Vegas is a great restaurant town. She stayed at Park MGM and liked her room. I asked my daughter if she would go back to Vegas. She said no because every meal seemed to be about $45.00 USD and every mixed drink was around $18.00. For the money, she wasn't that impressed with the food service considering the high prices. She said it wasn't much fun getting low on cash after the first day and pinching pennies for the rest of her stay.

Otherwise I stay at Flamingo. I have an upcoming weeklong stay in October, so while I'm at Flamingo M-Th, I booked Vdara for Friday night and Aria for Saturday. Harrahs is the BEST cheap hotel on the strip. I absolutely love it. It's so clean, cleaner than some of the most expensive hotels. I think the mountain tower is better but my host says the Valley tower is more sought after. I've only stayed in the executive suites in the hotel and up though but with all rooms renovated, the small rooms are going to be clean and nice, too. Casino was renovated, too. Before the renovation, it was BAD. It was a miracle transformation lol

    • @trishaherr4057
      @trishaherr4057 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you didn't! LOL. Planet Hollywood should be on the top 10 bad hotels. I stayed there early 2022 in a suite and it was horrible from beginning to end. The carpet in our hallway to the room was literally rolling and tore up. Never seen that in Vegas anywhere. It was filthy everywhere in the casino and in the room. On top of that, the loud, obnoxious music 24/7. I had 2 relatives stay in 2022, they also had the same experiences. It looks like when they 1st renovated it, it may have been nice. But it has gotten beat up really, really quickly. I wouldn't stay there for free. Either would my 2 relatives that stayed there on 2 different months this past year. The only good thing about Planet Hollywood is that it's connected to Miracle Miles mall and we really like that shopping place and Gordon Ramsey burger is good.

  • @luisbeltran3254
    @luisbeltran3254 2 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    I agree with your list. However, I would add Flamingo and Mirage to it. Both hotels are in a great location and their rooms have been remodeled. I think people overlook them because they are older hotels just like Harrah’s. For some reason I feel Mirage has the most comfortable beds in Vegas, I don’t know why, I just sleep like a baby in them. Plus Flamingo and Mirage have some of the best pools in Vegas. Whereas the pool at Harrahs is very basic and small and the pool at Planet Hollywood is kinda basic and has almost no seating near the pool.

    • @TheVegasParadise

      Flamingo definitely not, it’s one of the most stayed at hotels because of location and price. Mirage I had on my list though because although it is well known and talked about I still think it’s overlooked because it’s right next Ceasar’s and across from Venetian/Palazzo.

    I agree, Planet Hollywood (PH) is definitely underrated. It has a great location being Center Strip, and easy access to the beauty of City Center. Located in the Miracle Mile Shops, PH offers reasonable eating options (Ocean One Bar and Grille). The newly renovated rooms make for a comfortable stay. I never had a problem with wait time. Great content with this video.

    I've stayed at Park MGM and I like Eataly as well as the fact that they have a tram between Park MGM, the Aria, and the Bellagio which is super convenient and also the Lady Gaga shop is really cool. The pool complex was something I was not a fan of as personally it didn't feel like a Vegas pool complex, I felt as if I was at like an average hotel pool complex which was kind of a let down. I do like the fact that they are a non-smoking hotel which is nice and the rooms were super nice as well as the view which was super nice as well. So overall, a decent hotel.

    Treasure Island is consistently well-underpriced, and should be on this list. Especially with Mirage going away. I noticed Bellagio was on your list of "overpriced hotels" but I'll be staying there in Oct. because soMehow it's a few dollars LESS than Mirage.

    If you're a gambler and you like the perks, comps and a nice stay I'll go with Treasure Island and the Stratosphere. However I love Planet Hollywood as well.

      I go to TI a lot of times, cheap, free parking, on-site CVS, clean decent rooms.

    An additional benefit of Park MGM is that it's completely SMOKE FREE! Don't get me wrong, I like a good cigar every now and then, however I do smoke them outside. For those with more sensitive noses/lungs this is a huge bonus.
