MGM Grand is for conventions and boxing. If you stay there otherwise you wear Lugz and white tees from the bodegas/corner stores. Still.
Waldorf is for C-Suite expense reports ONLY. And people with high profile Ashley Madison accounts.
Paris is for people who still use plastic slipcovers on their furniture.
Cromwell rooms come with penicillin shots... just dark and stank looking.
Bellagio... where you place your bags, and go to all of the other locations on the strip!!!
😂😂😂😂Great video, on point with the overrated spots🎯
@crossovr1968 ayooo not the Lugz and White Tees 🤣I need this comment on a remix for this video, you got me beat 😂appreciate the support🙏 🥃
@@crossovr1968 lugs and white teez has me pissed 😂😂😂 bc he really not lyin its always full of douchebags, elderly folk, or escorts
I HATE when people say you just sleep in the room and it doesn't matter where you stay in Vegas...It DOES matter!
@anthonypezzo6778 100% matters
Gonna be real, I just got back from Vegas. Almost everything is overrated and overpriced now.
@rustycolon9368 can you give some examples? It's a top premier destination that draws people from across the world, so prices aren't going to be the same as a regular city. But I'm curious to hear what in Vegas you consider overprice and what the actual price should be..
@@TheVegasParadise everything is overpriced in Vegas. I'm talking 45 dollar margaritas. I'm talking sensors on all of the fridges in the rooms that charge you automatically if you breath on them. Don't tell me this is just supply and demand. This is corporate greed where they are taking as much profit in the short term while Vegas gets the reputation of a place that's out to gouge you for every cent you have at every possible second you're existing. How about the 'fees' and taxes you need to actually ask them to REMOVE from the bill (I was warned about this) because they aren't even part of an official fee you need to pay. It's just straight up lying. The resort fees not being included up front (just add it to the total bill...). The automatic gratuity of 18% at a minimum anywhere you go. These Casinos and hotels make billions of dollars a year, don't tell me they can't pay the staff better wages.
Saying it's a premier destination is ignoring what the place is turning into. It used to have a much better reputation as long as you were gambling, but most places are incredibly stingy with that now as well. Vegas isn't sure what it wants to be - a luxury destination for the rich, or an affordable center of entertainment and gambling for the masses. It's trying to be both, but the prices and gouging to tourists is really out of control.
I just feel like the value isn't there anymore for the average person.
@@TheVegasParadise Let me interject. Shows. Booze. Resort fees. Nickel and diming and giving hidden charges at bars and restaurants. Gaming that has reached carnivale level odds like triple zero roulette that only fools would play. Vegas used to be reasonably priced because they knew people were bringing money to gamble but now the city caters to people who really don't gamble and are mostly there to put up pictures on instagram at the club.
If you don't think Vegas is a rip off now what year did you start going? Do you remember the Vegas of only 10 or 15 years ago or are you too young? It has always been a top premier destination for people all over the world but it wasn't always a rip off.

I have to say I absolutely agree with this list!! Thanks for the great content as usual!! Keep Grinding 💪🏾💪🏾
@k.shicks775 appreciate ya 🙏
And that’s why NYNY or Park MGM are low key hits. Affordable rooms and dining options. Plus a free tram ride away from the Bellagio Fountains
@nigelbeckles1534 that video is next on the list, you are spot on about those 2
Finally somebody called Belagio's buffet basic. A expensive property should be better.
that’s why i love this channel finally someone who talks about these ridiculous prices that we have to pay for some of these rooms
@bandman_al 🎯
MGG Signiature has been my go to resort. One bedroom 900 square foot, balcony, full kitchen, two bathrooms. Needs to be updated but very comfortable.
Great video, you are right on target. Thank you.
I'm in Vegas once a quarter and I have no good reason to not stay at Delano. Yes, it's north side of the strip, but honestly there are enough excellent food options in the area for me to stay in that area. EXcellent content.
And this is why I love staying at The Cosmopolitan in the One bedroom Terrace with Fountain View…💜
@Lyladebo22 that view is unmatched
Another downside of the Bellagio is that it sits so far back off the strip because of the fountains. If you’re staying there, you gotta hike just to get to the strip.
@BeingTheBear that's a good point as well, or walk through the shops to get to the bridge
This was great. So many youtubers rate them as the best thing since sliced bread. Finally, an honest opinion.
@victoria-hi6bj I'm sure some will hate this video but, the truth needed to be spoken
If I’m flush there’s no better to stay than Wynn. I love to stay Mandalay Bay if I’m mid pocket. If I’m low rolling, Harrahs can’t be beaten.
Decent rooms for the money and really fun to play in. In fact, when I stay at Wynn, I can mostly be found playing at Harrahs with Bob and Carol from Omaha type people, friendly and fun.
Hi Tim! It's been a minute since I have been able to sit and watch your videos. However, I am sticking with my continued, overall experienced, professional and personal opinion as a vintage Vegas traveler. You are ON POINT! So proud of you. Enjoy your summer. CAB🥳
@BagsByCABYarnTravels 😂thanks CAB!
Major props to you keeping things grounded up for us out here and greets from socal
@AestheticDelta appreciate the support 🙏shoutout from the Bay
Bellagio is very overrated. I stay there because I get comped, but the location is the best thing about it. The beds are very comfortable, but the hotel gets too much foot traffic and they need other casual eats besides snacks. Speaking of which, Cromwell also needs more eateries. It's a shame you have to wake up in the am and LEAVE the property to get a coffee. Why? Because the little eaterie they have makes up their hours on a daily basis it seems.
@Daysha38 most of the people I know that stay at Bellagio, stay there because it's comped or because they get good member rates. Their dining options seemed catered to dine and leave. Cromwell is just a mess all around.
My main reason to stay at Waldorf Astoria is to redeem HIlton Honors points at a pretty high value lol
@ericfong9658 that's a very good reason to stay there lol
OMG he was COOKING!!!! I thought my ac went out but it was just my phone heating up from the FIRE HE WAS SPITTIN!!!!!!
@JoseBatres301 😂🙏
Great video Tim! 💯 on everything. Coming to Encore July 18-21! Hope I might run into you! Hugs 🤗.
I stayed at Cromwell before it became Cromwell, waaaaay back in 2008. Stayed twice at Bellagio before their prices got stupid crazy. I have stayed at Paris a couple of times including during the partial reopen of Las Vegas in 2020, it was fine. Now days I stay at Horseshoe, and it works for me. The "new" Versaille Tower at Paris, used to be a tower that was part of the Horseshoe/Bally's - both are Caesar's properties - and I should note, I have heard people say that Caesars is not worth the money and is coasting on its past reputation as some rooms/tower have gotten a bit shabby.
Bellagio buffet has self serve drinks in plastic cups. Feels like golden corrall.
Damn you went IN on MGM Grand…..and I’ve stayed there the past few times including just last week (only because my wife is Platinum). Ate their buffet once and called it a day. Most of the food had no type of flavor. Nellie’s started off good but wasn’t good the 2nd time around. Yeah, some of those rooms need to be ripped up. Hopefully I can convince her to stay at Park MGM next time if we do another MGM property which I sure we will do smh.
This is spicy 🌶️ but spot on 🎯. Cromwell would be my #1 most overrated hotel. Aside from the location and drais, Cromwell has nothing else! I would add resorts world to my personal list. RW is a shopping mall with a nice casino and basic boring Hilton rooms. Nice pool complex but bad location. Adding Fontainebleau doesn’t help RW being in a bad location. Because I know people will say “yeah but the north end is building up”…right. 🥴
@MikeU23 I'm not mad at Cromwell being number 1, this list is in no order so I'm all for it lol. RW I wouldn't consider overrated, simply because the pricing for their rooms has dropped a lot over the last year, and their hilton and conrad towers can compete with a lot of the strip hotels base rooms in the price range. The casino, lounge and clubs add value, and their pool complex is nice. I'd argue if their location was better, they could make a bid for a top hotel spot but, their location is hurting them because your right about the "north end building up" it's still under construction 😂
The point of going to the Waldorf Astoria is to be away from the Casinos. It’s for people that want a quiet hotel after they enjoy Vegas.
@Gen-yh1jz that's when Vdara comes in to play
Bellagion messed up big time kicking HYDE out, because that was the only night club lounge open on a tuesday until Omnia alao showed up for Tuesdays, but HYDE had it down every tuesday and weekend and paid MGM the rent, they just greedy with an F&B idea in Mayfair. Their loss. The location for HYDE was perfection.
@pscfbxx Hyde was a dope spot to party at, perfect location
You Snapped on this Video 🖤🖤🖤🖤😂😂😂😂
@StopSnatchin 💥
I agree with pretty much everything you said! I would have added nobu maybe. I'm always shocked at the casino's that take ten years to update rooms.
@Haileys8Commet Nobu could have been on this list as well
Finally a newly updated video 🏆 TVP the Man!
@RaulA1022 long overdue. Appreciate the support 🙏
Skyloft's is the real money grab, old cd players, old tvs, old infotainment, old decor, everything old, and want thousands a night for it, no that shit better be top tier for that price
Damn bro, not Office Depot! 😂😂😂
Lol great list Tim! We got a deal for Waldorf from Founders Card and the new rooms are pretty sweet and they brought us a fridge for free. Might be worth another look. Cheers 🍻
@dianaallen3707 I have no doubt that the rooms at Waldorf are nice, I liked the room before the reno, but it's not close to being worth the standard price, in my opinion of course. Founders card is clutch, would you have stayed there if it wasn't for the Founders membership?
@TheVegasParadise lol agreed we got the FC through our business and no, absolutely not we were floored at how reasonable the FC rate was (even converting to Cdn dollars) and because it also gives you Hilton Gold we got a sweet Upgrade. Not sponsored lol Luv your videos!
100% with you my man !!! Add Park MGM to the list.
Good looks on bellagio. I stayed there once and the rooms are just ight lol
@kooga29 rooms are above average at best lol
lol you snapped 😂
I actually agree with this list. Though I’ve found the restaurants at MGM Grand to be its strength, everything else is just okay. (Have not actually stayed there though)
Been staying at MGM Grand for many many years but not anymore. The rooms are so worn down including noisy ventilation and even noisier refrigerators. The big corridor leading up to the grand pool and food court smells in a very weird way. It also takes forever to walk from your room to just reach the strip. The Grand Pool is the only selling point for this hotel still, the breakfast options at the Food Court is just plain bad and expensive overall. Stayed at Park MGM a couple of weeks ago and it's so much better and the casino doesn't smell. If you want to spend some bucks in Vegas try the Fountain Bleau too, everything feel new and fresh there. Great pool area and the best food court I have experienced so far in Vegas. Their beach club Liv Beach is much better than Wet Republic too if you wanna get the party on. For whatever weird reason they dont allow Apple Pay tapping at Wet Republic, and it's 2024.
Vegas is becoming a huge rip off destination for wanna be ballers. Feeling like a big shot playing triple zero roulette. At least on the Strip. These new hotels are all starting to look and feel the same. Bland and easily forgettable and nickel and diming all the way.
Agreed. I just got back and it's easily almost double the price it was in 2019 and the quality of food and service has degraded since.
@@rustycolon9368 the prices in Vegas aren't that much different than in 2019 across the board. Room rates have increase but not even close to double. Sorry to hear you had a bad recent experience with food.
@STONESGAM not even close. There's too much to do in Vegas that you can't do and get in most destination places across the world but, I've noticed people can't get out of the pre-demic Vegas times
@@TheVegasParadise I disagree and don't enjoy the direction Vegas is headed. I understand you have a Vegas based channel though so would probably enjoy the new Vegas.
I am not that old but even thought Vegas was much more fun and a better value 10 to 15 years ago. To each their own. I guess if you are mostly going for the clubbing it's still a top destination.
I don't feel the value is really there anymore for middle class people with a couple grand to spend.
@@TheVegasParadise This!
I’m trying to find the lie, but big FACTS. Call’em out😂
@larrym216 👀👀
Straight facts!!!! 🔥 MGM Grand trippin with them prices.
@pharoahworld_class_hustlae9997 💯need MGM to drop the prices about 10-15% till we get some updates
@@TheVegasParadise facts
Nice job. Agree with all of it. Not an MGM Fan. I am a Cosmo Customer since it opened. Looking for a new home if they downgrade me. Thinking FB. What else do you think?
@johndurante4114 if you don't mind the Location of Fontainebleau it's a great choice, their rewards program, service, and operations runs a lot like Cosmo. I'd also consider Venetian or Wynn if you aren't a fan of Caesars either.
Man you ripped them one good one on this podcast. I have to agree I went to the Bellagio buffet years ago hundred dollars a person it was not worth it
Lol he chose GTA Violence 😅😅
I don't ef wit MGM becuz of their location on the strip alone most of the stuff I enjoy is the near Cosmo.
@jayraider521614 MGM's location is an inconvenience to a lot of folks, especially at their price point
Hate to say this but the lower end hotels like the Excalibur and the Flamingo are the best value. High end hotels can get the premium rates but not from me. Covid killed the buffets and we got left a mere dozen and most of them are twice the price they used to be.Las Vegas used to be better when the mob was in charge.
I usually stay at the Flamingo. I know what I'm getting and what I'm not getting for my money. Even though I'm not crazy about the room decor I know the vibe they're more themed to. I've never been disappointed at the Flamingo. And the hotel is center strip and that's a big plus for me.
@@JL-lg8tk I agree 100% and stay at the Flamingo just for the location alone. The aggressive sales folks selling overpriced lotions near the garage exit are my only concern. I just stare at them and laugh whenever they approach me.
@@johnkim163 I wouldn't recommend Excalibur to anyone. Flamingo's location is their best value, their prices for the rooms of recent are debatable, but their resort is starting to fall down hill bad
I find Caesars properties is really lacking in housekeeping. Their rooms are always dirty.
@@j.j.5073 When Eldorado and Caesar’s merged it was the start of watching $$. We lost the Laurel Lounges, no more easy status match and only one buffet left standing. Not surprised that Housekeeping standards slipped as well.
I just came back from MGM grand, and i feel like you are a bit harsh. I didnt notice green film on the window, i could see out perfectly fine. Grand kind, dated a bit, yea. But nothing ripped or dirty, or gashed. I did have a couple USBs that didnt work, otherwise the room is fine. Plus great pools, lots of food, lots of gaming. For me, nyny was more expensive on my dates.
I liked it, not even saying top 5 or anything. But saying it is overrated, its like, what did you come in expecting?
Love this list TVP. Especially given some of the names on this list and the money you have to spend to stay there....this isn't like spending $150 at excalibur and being slightly annoyed. A 3 day stay at Bellagio, Waldorf etc is sitting at $1300+ and that's before you've rolled a single dice
Speaking of Paris, I remember when it was like $45 a night + resort fees 10 years ago. I can't fathom spending 300/night for that nonsense. I'll hit up mon ami for brunch and sky bar at the Waldorf for a night cap. No hotel reservation needed.
@@bryantsteury8910 Paris used to be a good value, now they are way out of control. Spending $1300+ and you can't even roll dice at Waldorf to try and win some money back lol, not a chance
Stay at cosmo for 1 night in terrace fountain view room room cost 134$ july 2nd. Stayed at aria the rest of our visit on a comp offer for 6 nights for 124 dollars total in a staywell room 2304. Look i stay aria everytime we come to vegas but the gambling here during the 4th was god awful bro. Lost 3,500 in 6 days basically which isnt bad. Hit 1 hand pay on a 10 dollar bet for 1,340 dollars. But i put all that back cuz we hit that at the beginning of our stay and pretty much after that it was horrible. Roulette killed me i play the numbers and again i hit like for 500 a few times but you stuck in vegas you gona spend that shit back. And that's what it is. We hit the liquid pool up alot during this stay and no night clubs. Had a blast though. Love vegas just wish they let my ass win and get ahead pretty good but you gotta have a 10,000 bank roll to ride that bad wave in my opinion. I love aria as well just a sore loser 😂
Chill on the Waldorf lol, I just came back from staying there this past Sunday and it might be my new favorite but ngl it is high AF 🥴
Right? I stay there once a year to use up some FNC's with Hilton, always have a great time… steps away from Aria and the tram. Super easy to get to Cosmo or wherever you want to go.
@rea2real hey if you like it, keep staying there. It's not a bad hotel at all, just extremely overpriced unless you a member with Hilton, but most Hilton members stay elsewhere
@@TheVegasParadise I’m usually a palazzo or Vdara panoramic suite kind of guy depending where I want to be on the strip so for the price you’ll usually catch me at one of those 😂
Gonna be in vegas for Labor Day and MGM grand was the cheapest, what rooms are the “upgraded” rooms
Facttttssssss!
Executive office suite at Office Depot! I’m dead haha. And so true. The buffet is trash. But the MGM Grand does have the window ledge of deep thoughts.. 😂
I agree with almost everything you said.
I hate the shower tub combo thats just so out dated thats cazy Tim u funny😂thanks for this video u just keeping real😂❤
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Agree
I'm surprised Caesars palace is not on the list.
Agree with Paris. Got a suite for my bday back in May and was kinda disappointed. Room was fine, but the property itself didn't live up to the hype. Gloomy casino, multiple public bathrooms closed and too many overpriced celebrity restaurants. Alexxis and Mon Abi Gabi were good, but other than that would not stay again. Walked over to the connected Horseshoe. Was more impressed with that.
@10PlusKicks Alexxas and Mon Abi Gabi are the best things at Paris. I continually stay and recommend Horseshoe over Paris, and will continue to do so until they decide to improve.
Have a few plan for December, its Vegas, cruise, the cruise seems better the Vegas any advice ???? I checked the prices Vegas is cheaper. Advice ?????
@jblazing86 prices in Vegas are usually cheap in Vegas, and there's more to do in Vegas than on a cruise but that is your trip to plan
@@TheVegasParadise I'll will watch more of your vids and do more research, thanks 👍
i love this video, me and wifey have been to vegas 4 times since getting married in 2022 and we've always stayed at the MGM because my wife for wtv reason is infatuated with that property. buffet and food choices are mid, casino and property floor way too big imo, and the rooms do give off early 2000s vibes. we've also ate a bellagios buffet and were highkey dissapointed by it, wynn buffet blows all MGM/Caesar resort buffets out of the water. Wifey and I aren't big on pools or going to clubs and we never win shit at MGM lol, our next stay in december will be at NYNY for sure (I get 3 comp'd nights, total stay with paid parking, 300 for sunday-friday!)
also thinking about it I wonder if Cosmo will become MGMs most expensive property per night. want to stay there and was waiting for them to get added to MGMs rewards but not if its more than bellagios rate a night!
@@okokayy I'm pretty sure Cosmo will take over as the most expensive MGM property when they merge with the rewards at the end of the month, if they don't then I'd be at a loss for words
106 & Park should be poppin on soon"...😆🤣
Skylofts used to be a bucketlist room for me but I have zero desire to stay there anymore.
Also, shocker...MGM props and no fridge, is how they roll
Did Paris once, nahhh
Cromwell I'd check out
And I'd get a free Bellagio room off myvegas just to say I stayed there 🤣
Great topic and valid points 👉
MGM got the worst drinks..From what I have experienced while gambling.. 🔥 video
@krupt32 the first time I've heard of MGM having the worst drinks while waiting, tempted to go undercover and test this one out lol. Appreciate the support 🙏
i agree.. paris does have good food though.. waldorf is for older rich people that like it quiet. or famous people that dont want to bump into casuals. what I didnt know is if you stay at NYNY you have access to the mgm pool. I have yet to find reasons to walk into bellagio more than once.
Didn't even mention mon ami Gabi, I go there usually every trip for breakfast. I had the alexxas bloody Mary last week tho . They put a king crab leg in it
Food was underwhelming at mon Ami Gabi
@@waterfairee i always go for breakfast. Were you disappointed then? Or lunch/dinner?
Dinner, had the steak Frites, steak was so thin you could mail it. Food was literally sodium bomb. Hard pass.
@waterfairee ahhh, I never tried the dinner . I have high BP and too much sodium I'd always a no no, sorry for your experience
@@christianprussAll good 👍 tried for it was trending TH-cam recommendations, it was more style than substance.
I stayed at mgm grand 2 weeks ago before that i took a break from Vegas and didn’t go for over a year and what a difference a year makes i still like mgm properties bkus i like the south end of the strip but honestly Mandalay Bay , Delano or aria is the better option the rooms at mgm are dated the buffet sucks the service went down hill and the place is over run with hookers u can even move without gettin solicited I’m not a fan of New York New York but that may even be the better option mgm is charging 5 star prices for 3 star quality
Can we listen to the tracks in the background anywhere else?
@uptildawnltd3253 the background music is from a licensed provider, but some of the song are on TH-cam
PREACCCHHHH! ESP bellagio! I was shocked at how basic the rooms are and ive stayed twice...and upgraded the 2nd time just to see if it was fluke. the price is always insane and i rather pay that amt at cosmo and 10x STILL get more! it is supppperr overrated
@amandaxkoko and some people actually believe that you get more out of Bellagio and their rooms over a stay at Cosmo, but can never seem to explain that
Damn, Homie!!!! You at they neck wit it!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I respect the list because its your opinion, but please explain why wasn’t the Cosmo on your list? Expensive rooms, very average food selections, and the only thing the Cosmo has to boast about is the day club pool area, and if we are being honest many hotels have a better pool area (Mandalay Bay, Aria, Park MGM). I don’t go to Vegas for the room, nor lounges. If you’re disciplined enough to shop competitively you wouldn’t have to pay for any room entry level room at full price. Otherwise I enjoyed the video.
@traceyruffin9949 well let's see.. the Cosmo is one of the few hotels in the state of Nevada that offer multiple suites with a balcony (terrace) and different balcony (terrace) types, they also have jacuzzi tubs in the base level terrace room, empty mini frige, multiple speakeasys, a dayclub and a nightclub, a variety of dining options, that's just for starters so I'll stop there. You personally may not go to Vegas for a room or lounge, but I'm sure you don't stay at the cheapest hotels either, right? Most travelers do considers their room, along with the location and amenities at the resort when going to Vegas, which is why hardly anyone stays at a 1 star or 2 star hotel. Appreciate you watching the video.
No disrespect but why isn’t Caesar palace on this list you talked about these other hotels what about Caesar they didn’t renovate all there rooms yet there pool side chairs need a huge upgrade and they got no mini fridge and there buffet is overrated and they didn’t make the list come on my man
@tylerwilliams0037 no disrespect taken, let's talk about it. Caesars has done 2 tower renovations in the last 8 years, the most recent being in the last year and the August Tower rooms are much better than Bellagio's Resort tower. They have one of the best buffets in Vegas (Bacchanal isn't close to overrated), the top nightclub in Vegas, a poker room that many people love, and their pool complex is a favorite to many... I'll stop there
No lies told.
@MCHJ 💯
Paris is OVERRATED. Everything you said about Cafe Americano is 100% correct. Was just there 2 weeks ago
