I just bought this during Black Friday. Can’t wait to try it out. I looked at the top ones based on other illustrator her on YT and based price and functionality was a little better than the other entree level drawing pads in my opinion.

I got this one today, tried on Illustrator and Photoshop, loving it, it will take some time for me to get used to it, its my first time using a tablet, I am having a hard time opening the pen holder, how you opened it so easily

By the way, I'm looking forward to getting my very first pen tablet, at first I was planning to buy huion h950p/h640p because a lot of reviews are saying that huion is better than Wacom, but at one time after doing more research there are also a lot of comments from other review saying that huion is trash and it didn't work great either. But I still wanna know your opinion tho. So which one is more worth to try Huion H950p or Xp Pen Deco 01 V2?
Hi there , thanks for reaching out. In general , these 2 brands are producing good product , each has its own pros. I gonna let you know from my experience from the huion & xp pen product i owned. The Pen from Huion are more comfortable to hold , but the nibs has some sound when you press too hard. Xp pen's pen are shorter and ( it feels like due to the design) but generally more stable as in compatibility. Which one to buy , it depends on whether you prefer the better pen holding feel/grip or a more stable product. The rest are pretty much the same in specs.

Veikk A15Pro feels cheaper materials and the pen is very light , too light, when draw it might not felt that right but it really depends on people. XP Pen product built quality is good, it is slightly heavier , pen also has more weight to it.

Can you confirm it will work with this software? - I'd also be curious if it would work with Premiere too, for use of the pen tool etc when creating masks?

Yes it does , about 40-50% more quiet , but you will still hear sounds , it wont go off. Comparing to the other tablet i have , Gaomon , it is still loud, Gaomon is like around 20% of the sound you heard from this. You can look into this video th-cam.com/video/njq4y57VPS4/w-d-xo.html
Hi there , both are actually quite a good and affordable prodcuts. For me I will recommend Huion because it has the dial function and it is always good to have if they are both about the same price . and also huion's tablet surface are slightly smoother.
@@chewygami8781 great, the usable suface is on point, the pen is light, and i just fin myself drawing for hours, great for editing photos too, so happy. I should've buyed one a long time ago.
On photoshop , just use a different brush type that looks like a round dot rather than brush looking icon. If its on Clip Studio , there is a button beside the brush can turn off.
You can use it like a mouse where sometimes I would like to do it when doing painting texture / drawing work. Can configure it with middle click & right click on the pen and nib itself will be functioning as left click.
It should be a problem , just that the tape will be facing up. You can use your own tape so that you can stick it onto your tablet and it wont slipped.
I'm still hesitating between this one and Wacom intuos medium. My super old Wacom Bamboo just broke and I'm looking for a replacement. I normally use photoshop blender and zbrush...wanted to go for Wacom at first but this one is much cheaper and seems to do the job, but not sure how is it comparing to Wacom
In terms of built quality and materials , wacom is surely better, but this tablet will also do just fine with the software that you need to use and able to get the job done and much cheaper in price. If you are on a budget , can go with this. If you have more budgets but still think wacom is too expensive, can option for Xencelabs tablet. Built quality is great , consider high grade tablets but slightly cheaper than wacom.

Hi there , thanks for reaching out. Both are good products. If you have budget , go with Deco 03 for the wireless and dial button ( red roller at top left ) which good for painting software, and it even comes with a proper nice pen case. ( 03 not compatible with mobile phones ). If you dont have enough budget , just go with Deco 01 is good enough.

Xp pen deco 01v2 is by far quite a stable and durable product to use with. I dont own an inspiroy h640p, so i couldnt comment much on it. But when i use q620m inspiroy with zbrush , it couldnt detect the pressure level. So to be safe , just get deco 01 v2.

Hi there , they are slightly different. 01v2 with more features , tilt function , bigger in size. Deco 01 v2 is a great product by far over 8 months it is still performing great.
@@Artistaa1 it is more than enough , i had never change even once . But it really depends on whether you draw and press very hard or soft. With the 8k pressure level , you dont have to press really hard to get the strokes you want.

Hi there , thanks for your support. 01 v2has all features except the roller wheel. It even has tilt function . So far it has been a great and very stable graphic tablet. If dial is not a must for you , got for Deco 01 v2, if you need dial , and have more budget , can consider deco pro. I do have other graphic tablet review on my channel as well , for other brands like huion , gaomon , veikk. If you are looking for other alternative brand.
If you mean the installer , nope , you only have to run exe installer for once , after it is done , the next time you use it , it will automatically detect.
Is that a samsung phone you used for the OTG function? Because Ive heard stories where the cursor wont work on Samsung phones, I might get worried with my S7 Edge whenever I got myself one.
Yes , definately , what i like about it is it has the protector cover , allows you to choose between rough or smooth surface. For entry level , this is good enough it has 8k pressure level. For the price you pay , it is considered very good
@@harshitsati hi , so far its been good. Even though it is a bit short compare to my previous wacom pen stylus , but i dint get any problems. It has been great for daily usage in photoshop, 3d , zbrush and etc.
Honestly , it is Xp Pen. It is more stable and the connector cable which using USB type C are more tight compare to m10k which using micro USB , and my cable on m10k are a bit loose and sometimes it gets disconnected. Versatility , Xp pen. Surface smoothness and drawing feel , m10k

My laptop has 2 USB input , but it is not enough , i have mouse , keyboard external , webcam , mic , hdd, and tablet , so i bought a USB extender which has extra 4 inputs so that i have enough for all my devices

you can consider DeCo 01 v2 as it is quite a good and affordable tablet. As for Veikk a15 has some compatibility issues with certain softwares from what I have tested it before 2 months ago.
Hi Katrin G , in my opinion , it is definately xp pen deco 01 V2, the Huion h1060plus has less sensitivity level which is only 2k ,and xp pen is up to 8k , and plus the RPS are slightly higher in Xp deco models. You pay a little bit more , but get more values out of it. I owned an old model of wacom which is only 2k pressure , the moment i uses my new tablet which has 8k pressure level , it is totally different and awesome experience when you draw.

ya , it is a good choice if you prefer smoother drawing surface. It is GAOMON M10K Pro , remember for for the PRO if you buying gaomon , cause there is another model gaomon m10k without pro. Dont get the wrong one

I got a new one a couple of weeks ago. I can use it as a mouse and no problem, but when I use it with brushes, it makes Photoshop and Illustrator crash after 30 minutes or so. I use it with Windows 10 and Adobe 2019...any ideas why is that happening and how to solve it?

Better with warranty , but so far I 've been using it for 8 months no problem. If that "without warranty" costs you cheaper , test it first and make sure it is working before pay.

This vs Wacom One CTL 472, which one would be better? I'm more concerned about durability and nib lifespan. ( I'm looking to draw professionally, so that's 6-8 hours a day sometimes). Are there any other alternatives in case?
Get XP Pen Deco 01 v2 , don't buy Wacom ONE CTL472 , the materials used are cheap . With low level pressure sensitivity. Deco 01 v2 built quality consider quite good. and with higher up to 8k pressure sensitivity , you will really feel the difference when you draw , and you dont have to always press that hard because the 8k range pressure and hence it gives longer life span on nibs

@@sammersammer7530 @sammer sammer , if you are going to do lots of dots and need it to be very accurate , you can go with wacom. Wacom are doing a better job on that as the nib doesnt wobble.
Two things you should consider. If you prefer to have a larger active drawing area , go for XP-PEN , and if you prefer slightly smoother drawing surface , can opt for huion. Both tablets are good with the low price point and both have same amount of pressure sensitivity level up to 8192 , and 5080LPI
Simplicity, go with wacom ctl4100 , cause it has no buttons , just a drawing surface. And it has only 2k pressure only , so you dont have to worry about not getting use to draw on tablet surface. But of course wacom comes with less features with the same amount u pay foe tablet

Haha , that is normal , it happens to me during the first time I'm using a graphic tablet. It takes maybe few hours to get used to or even few days , but once you get used to it , its gonna be a great addition tool to your daily works.

From my experience , wacom intuos small is not good , Xp pen Deco 01V2 is better in terms of build quality. and Intuos small pen level pressure is only 4k , way lower compare to Deco which has an 8k. Draw active area are bigger too in Deco compare to wacom. You should only consider wacom if going for high end models. In the low range cheaper tablet, for for Deco01V2 , you get a lot more out of the bucks spent

@@johngeorge255 , If you are working with a safe software " photoshop & illustrator" it will be as stable as wacom. If you are using it for 3Ds Max or other application , yeah , software stability and compatibility will be better with wacom. As for durability , so far i have been using mine for 4 months it works great. and if you are going for cheap models , wacom's lifespan i will say about the same , if you are going for higher end model and have the budget , yeah , you should probably pickup wacom
Can you please help me, I can not seem to get the pen pressure working.. it works when I set it up on the Pen Tablet but doesn't seem to make any changes when I use it on Photoshop.

try calibrate the screen active area from the pen tablet software settings. If after no matter how hard you try and it still doesn't work, try a different version of software driver.

Hi there ,in my opinion, in terms of build quality Deco 01 V2 is best , there are more buttons to configure for the software you need to use, even though wacom is famous for its brand , but the cheap models of wacom are not as good as Deco 01 V2. Deco 01 V2 is not the cheapest but it is still quite affordable and it is good

Hi , great. Happy for you. To open that holder, press with some force from left and right hand then rotate. It should be easier 😁

There are settings you can switch if you are left handers inside the tablet settings , so no worries

Hi there , both are actually quite a good and affordable prodcuts. For me I will recommend Huion because it has the dial function and it is always good to have if they are both about the same price . and also huion's tablet surface are slightly smoother.

On photoshop , just use a different brush type that looks like a round dot rather than brush looking icon. If its on Clip Studio , there is a button beside the brush can turn off.
What would you recommend between this vs Veikk 1060pro. And I am using mac. And I see that veikk’s pen is quite large comparing to other is it right ?
can consider that veikk 1060pro , as it is a newer model , and that rotate dial will be a great plus

You can use it like a mouse where sometimes I would like to do it when doing painting texture / drawing work. Can configure it with middle click & right click on the pen and nib itself will be functioning as left click.

It should be a problem , just that the tape will be facing up. You can use your own tape so that you can stick it onto your tablet and it wont slipped.

I'm still hesitating between this one and Wacom intuos medium. My super old Wacom Bamboo just broke and I'm looking for a replacement. I normally use photoshop blender and zbrush...wanted to go for Wacom at first but this one is much cheaper and seems to do the job, but not sure how is it comparing to Wacom
In terms of built quality and materials , wacom is surely better, but this tablet will also do just fine with the software that you need to use and able to get the job done and much cheaper in price. If you are on a budget , can go with this. If you have more budgets but still think wacom is too expensive, can option for Xencelabs tablet. Built quality is great , consider high grade tablets but slightly cheaper than wacom.

If you have budget , go with Deco 03 for the wireless and dial button ( red roller at top left ) which good for painting software, and it even comes with a proper nice pen case. ( 03 not compatible with mobile phones ). If you dont have enough budget , just go with Deco 01 is good enough.

Xp pen deco 01v2 is by far quite a stable and durable product to use with. I dont own an inspiroy h640p, so i couldnt comment much on it. But when i use q620m inspiroy with zbrush , it couldnt detect the pressure level. So to be safe , just get deco 01 v2.

Hi there , thanks for your support. 01 v2has all features except the roller wheel. It even has tilt function . So far it has been a great and very stable graphic tablet. If dial is not a must for you , got for Deco 01 v2, if you need dial , and have more budget , can consider deco pro. I do have other graphic tablet review on my channel as well , for other brands like huion , gaomon , veikk. If you are looking for other alternative brand.

Honestly , it is Xp Pen. It is more stable and the connector cable which using USB type C are more tight compare to m10k which using micro USB , and my cable on m10k are a bit loose and sometimes it gets disconnected. Versatility , Xp pen. Surface smoothness and drawing feel , m10k

My laptop has 2 USB input , but it is not enough , i have mouse , keyboard external , webcam , mic , hdd, and tablet , so i bought a USB extender which has extra 4 inputs so that i have enough for all my devices

Hi Katrin G , in my opinion , it is definately xp pen deco 01 V2, the Huion h1060plus has less sensitivity level which is only 2k ,and xp pen is up to 8k , and plus the RPS are slightly higher in Xp deco models. You pay a little bit more , but get more values out of it. I owned an old model of wacom which is only 2k pressure , the moment i uses my new tablet which has 8k pressure level , it is totally different and awesome experience when you draw.

I got a new one a couple of weeks ago. I can use it as a mouse and no problem, but when I use it with brushes, it makes Photoshop and Illustrator crash after 30 minutes or so. I use it with Windows 10 and Adobe 2019...any ideas why is that happening and how to solve it?

Get XP Pen Deco 01 v2 , don't buy Wacom ONE CTL472 , the materials used are cheap . With low level pressure sensitivity. Deco 01 v2 built quality consider quite good. and with higher up to 8k pressure sensitivity , you will really feel the difference when you draw , and you dont have to always press that hard because the 8k range pressure and hence it gives longer life span on nibs

Two things you should consider. If you prefer to have a larger active drawing area , go for XP-PEN , and if you prefer slightly smoother drawing surface , can opt for huion. Both tablets are good with the low price point and both have same amount of pressure sensitivity level up to 8192 , and 5080LPI

Simplicity, go with wacom ctl4100 , cause it has no buttons , just a drawing surface. And it has only 2k pressure only , so you dont have to worry about not getting use to draw on tablet surface. But of course wacom comes with less features with the same amount u pay foe tablet

Haha , that is normal , it happens to me during the first time I'm using a graphic tablet. It takes maybe few hours to get used to or even few days , but once you get used to it , its gonna be a great addition tool to your daily works.

From my experience , wacom intuos small is not good , Xp pen Deco 01V2 is better in terms of build quality. and Intuos small pen level pressure is only 4k , way lower compare to Deco which has an 8k. Draw active area are bigger too in Deco compare to wacom. You should only consider wacom if going for high end models. In the low range cheaper tablet, for for Deco01V2 , you get a lot more out of the bucks spent

try calibrate the screen active area from the pen tablet software settings. If after no matter how hard you try and it still doesn't work, try a different version of software driver.
