Loved how Editor Fil took out the commander of his Gamegenic Bastion, placed it back in the middle before remembering that he will also need the rest of his deck 😂
since rad counters are also on players, when you proliferate a player they should get additional infect as well as rad and energy counters if they have them.
@@relaxobomber98 701.27a To proliferate means to choose any number of permanents and/or players that have a counter, then give each one additional counter of each kind that permanent or player already has.
He misses Jim, I miss Jim, we all miss Jim when Jim isn’t in the episode, calm down!!! DONT TELL ME TO CALM DOWN YOU CALM DOWN!!!! WHERE IS JIM WE MISS JIM!!!!😂
@woopertrainer the objects/players yes, but not the counters on them. If something has both A and B counters they get one more of each, or none more of each.
@@nathanwiens108 I believe that is how Proliferate worked at some point, but it has since been errataed to you adding 1 of each counter the chosen permanents and players have.
I gotta say, I haven’t watched the full video but I love my personal Satya deck. Basically just mushed the fallout precon and the MH3 precon and added some bits and pieces. I’ve gone infinite with combats to win multiple times. God Satya is so good imo
Wheel of potential , has" may" ability , so each player may exile their hands and draw cards. Nice game alot of fun , i need to rebild my super friend deck
I know it feels bad to do so but with a deck like Aaron's you really gotta prioritize hitting the walkers more. Bill could have kept them in check more but chose to value extra treasure tokens.
honestly i dont even think that was the biggest mistake, the biggest mistake was early game not blocking or removing the toxic 4/4, like they just casually swung out and let it through, and as the tekuthal player, Never, Ever, do that. not attacking the planeswalkers later was a mistake, he could probably have gone infinite turns with tekuthal out, and that many planeswalkers up, but at least he would have had to do that, play that out.
I have a doubt here: wouldn't Facebreaker trigger only once despite how many creatures deal damage each combat? Since it reads ' whenever one or more' instead of 'whenever a creature' like Toski, for instance. Haven't played it or against it, so I don't quite know if I'm correct or what.
You're correct and they're correct. He had 6 professional facebreakers (due to myriad) and these 6 all see one or more of his creatures dealing damage to 2 different players. So each trigger twice which leads to him getting 12 triggers.
Yes but you're missing one part of the effect "to A player". It triggers for each player that takes combat damage regardless of how many creatures attack.
i know this was casual but for the love of Hestia, as the Tekuthal player, BLOCK THE TOXIC, ALWAYS BLOCK THE TOXIC, even if you don't mind a mothman deck poisoning you which is dubious itself, crawl through broken glass(metaphorically) before you get a poison counter on you in a game with a tekuthal player. we will get it onto you eventually anyway if we haven't, as Aaron did, specifically decided to honorably avoid it, butat least make us work for it lmao. as soon as i saw those swingouts with that 4/4 toxic trampler on board i knew exactly how this game would end.
12:44 - Don't know if it comes up later in the game, but because Fil said it so explicitly here: If you choose to proliferate the Rad counter on Bill, you have to increase every counter he already has by one. So proliferating that energy is not optional. :) "Choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there." Hopping over to the Magic Wiki to find the exact rules text also told me that apparently on the older version of Proliferate it was possible to not increase every counter, interesting... So well, just a little info on that. :) One of the worst things for an Energy or Experience Counter deck that works with proliferate is to somehow give them a poison counter, they will eventually have to stop proliferating themselves. :D
I believe it was ease of use. More so for Arena than anything, by making it pretty much "proliferate target player" you don't have to fiddle with multiple counters on one player.
Spoiler... 40:34 couldn't you have used the zero ability of ichor moon gauntlet with Teferi one of the Jaces, then done the -12 to get an extra turn on the other Jace, and then search with Tezzeret at that point to put away the game on the extra turn and not even give Fil a turn to respond?
Love how Aaron says that he doesn't play Infect for a reason and it's all Fil's fault, but like... he could've just not proliferated counters on players. Like, I get what he's saying, but that is a thing that he could have not done xD
I REALLY dislike playing against radiation. Late game it takes so long to address triggers. It feels immediately like the radiation players turn is encompassing other peoples' turns.
Just milling a couple cards after you draw? It's really not that much to keep up with. It is another trigger but if you as the radiation player remind someone as they draw, I feel it easy enough to keep up with.
Just aa a kindly question, because turn 1 Sol Ring becomes really annoying on this channel, so could you at least stop that? I'm not talking about to not use Sol Ring, only to not play it turn 1.
Loved how Editor Fil took out the commander of his Gamegenic Bastion, placed it back in the middle before remembering that he will also need the rest of his deck 😂
41:17 Bill has changed my life. That squirrel is definitely riding an invisible motorcycle
It’s my Camellia deck 🧡 thanks for playing it, Maddy!
since rad counters are also on players, when you proliferate a player they should get additional infect as well as rad and energy counters if they have them.
Is that really how that works? Don‘t you choose the counter rather than the player?

The banter this game was great, hoping for more Editor Fil and Aaron action
Been missing Aaron's vibe. His gameplay and banter is so good. Great game all around.
It's been too long since Aaron was on! Missed his glibness
We miss you Jim

@@FatstaxMTG that is the question
Several proliferates that added energy and poison counters should have also added rad counters, which were missed.
I'm only at the beginning of the video, but unless he intended to increase the rad counters, proliferate is a choice for any kind of counter.

Thanks for providing such great content. Love the variety that is played.
3:29 Fil realizing he needs the rest of his deck to play the game.
accidently had the playback set to 2x for the intro... I didn't think "SOLID AS A ROCK" could get any more lit... it did
Always watching at a min of 1.5x
This was epic lol
I genuinely adore everyone on spike feeders but Aaron is my dude.
3 Commanders I've built VS the Commander I'm thinking about building?! Let's GOOOOOO!!!!
Aaron is next level funny. That delivery is amazing.
Man I love Aaron. Such no nonsense, dry humour.
I hope Jim is well. He’s one of my absolute favorite people in this community and I just want him to feel ok in the community he has helped shape.
The return of the king. Nice to see Aaron again
Aarons deck is my favorite, lol. its like the monored chandra decks people used to make, pretty cool deck
The "most casual" had me thinking -an artisan/pauper 'cedh' match would be super cool. Sweet ep, as always
Really enjoying the energy Fil brings into these games!
Satya is my absolute favourite deck right now, and I am so happy to see it being played.
I've been loving that deck, too. Just does fun things.
7:50 You don't know what you're talking about, how do you think he got with a hot gorgon like Vraska?
Шикарно! Aaron, как всегда прекрасен. Жду, когда он выведет погулять своего Bosh, Iron Golem!
Proud of ya editor Fil, for NOT being on socials. what a bold choice. alas, youre the most mentally well among us because of that. 😂

Dreamtide whale is sooooo good! Got me second place in prerelease and now terrifies my friends in Bumbleflower Mafia

Jace, Rinse prodigy. Absolutely great at rinsing the bad cards out of your hand.

I see Fil, I click the thumbnail.
41:36 @Aaron You could have -12'ed Teferi to take an extra turn, and then take infinite turns
Would players’ rad counters not be going up each time aaron proliferated poison/energy counters?
I know most people got over TWMM pretty quick after it came out (understandable; breakneck releases and all that), but I still fkn love him 🥰
29:41 notably quabbled is not a real word, Fil meant to say squabbled
